I have Honor 7
PLK-L01c185b130 Android 5.0.2
i had never update it
What version need i to update it to latest stock firmware android 6 or higher ?
c185? it's from the middle east region, right?
Honestly I'm not familiar with your model, so my suggestion is: download Firmware Finder from the Play Store, and check for the latest firmware available it automatically detects your model, gives you a list with all the updates available (both incremental and full OTA), and this way you are sure to choose the right file.
ypu can download latest firmware from huawei site and flash it manually to update
Hi guys! It´s been a while since I posted last time...
Got myself a Mate 10 Pro and very happy with it. My phone has the latest OTA but I read somewhere that there are more previous firmware. I downloaded Firmware Finder from Play Store and it tells me there are several newer versions for my phone. Is it safe to use this?
My phone has the following firmware:
BLA-L29 8.0.0.142(C432)
Firmware Finder tells me that the latest firmware for my phone is
BLA-L29C432B115a (8.0.0.115a)
I find it a little strange but what is really the newest firmware for my phone?
I use the Swedish version, not locked to any operators.

Whatever is the newest one, you won't be able to force an update via FF. It doesn't work anymore. I have just the same firmware, and see the 115 as the newest as well. I also see 145 as approved for installation, but it doesn't work. You can't download firmware. Huawei changed something on servers. All we can do is waiting for official OTA, or for Team MT to fix it.
Someone tested the BLA-L29C432B115a and it's an old one so no need to apply it lol
Hi guys,
today i updated my Honor 10 from COL-L29C432B151 (8.1.0.151) to COL-L29C432E4R1P9B159 (9.0.0.159).
At build no it now shows COL-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.177.
But it still tells me that there is an update available (which won't OTA because device is rooted etc.)
I thought i used the latest version available
At Firmware finder is see
Col-L29DC10E3R1P13T8B177 (9.0.0.177),COL-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.177 as OTA-MF and
Col-L29DC10E3R1P13T8B177 (9.0.0.177) as FullOTA-MF (what i think i need).
Do i have to update to one of those
I think that's the small update for fixing camera app and call issue.
It looks like you get an Firmware for another device? Firmwarefinder (Andropidapp) Shows only .159. for the Honor 10 COL-L29C432.
FunkyHuawai shows also the .159 as latest firmware: https://funkyhuawei.club/fulllist
Only a patch. See the screenshot below.
i'm just a bit confused right now.
In the past my build version was like COL-L29 8.1.0.151(C432).
Yesterday i flashed COL-L29C432E4R1P9B159 (9.0.0.159) LINK
And now it looks like this:
Why is the regional code C432 missing?
Can i now flash every firmware?
There is a 9.0.0.160 available
COL-L29C10E3R1P12B160 (9.0.0.160)

i think this is for russia.
The latest firmware i can find for col-l29c432 is the one i just flashed yesterday: COL-L29C432E4R1P9B159 (9.0.0.159)
So why is my phone showing an available patch?
Don't they create a new firmware for every patch?
Or is the latest one just missing in huawei firmware finder?
just officially updated
best regards
Mine's now also on the latest patch: 9.0.0.159(patch01) and not showing update available any more.
But it still doesn't show C432 and the other stuff..?
Still confused
Hi, I am using Huawei p20 lite with the build number ANE-LX2C636 and I have been stuck with EMUI 8 for years now and I want to update it to 9 using Firmware Finder, the question is which update should I choose from the list (I know how to check if the update is compatible with my device) since there is a lot and my Android version is very old, should I just install every compatible update starting from the bottom or what?
Thank you guys for your help.

Hi, have you tried upgrade via HiSuite (chinese version) , via HiCare or using eRecovery & Wi-Fi?

Over the course of one month I've tried everything you said two times each, I even contacted Huawei local costumer service and they replied and I quote: "Judging by your IMEI number it doesn't appear that you have a Huawei device at the first place, that is why you don't get updates", so yeah, the phone that I've purchased from an official vendor with a relatively higher price than the free market isn't even registered.
Note: yesterday I tried to download a FullOTA ANE-LX2 EMUI 9.0. update via Firmware Finder and the download unfortunately failed.

FF won't help you, you can try get bootloader unlock code for 4euros on hcu-client.com , then rebrand your phone to global version. Or, buy Service ROM on easy-firmware for 17euros and upgrade your phone to EMUI 9.1 using dload method (yes, crazy ). Sorry, I can't help you anymore
P.S.: try a google search to find the method "patched HiSuite" or "proxy HiSuite", it may help you. Good luck!
Can someone help me downgrade the firmware on my P40 Pro Plus. I have the N39 C636 model.
anyone found solution?
I did downgrade my P40 Pro+ using HiSuite Proxy.
You can find the instructions on this thread.
I downgraded to 10.1.0.132 (C432) but now my phone doesn't find any updates. I would really go back to the latest version...

Well I was thinking of down grading in order to install google services, as reported by some that on latest firmware the method don't works. But I found the date trick and was able to install to on the latest firmware.
On your case I suggest to use .147 to update via HiSuite Proxy method.

But where can I find .147 links?
The link I sent you was the only P40 Pro+ firmware link I ever found.
And to be honest, I'm afraid I just installed a P40 Pro firmware. But I don't know how to check it.
Hi guys, just to say that TeamMT now has a lot of versions of P40 Pro+ firmware.
You can take a look at:

Have you done the date hack as mentioned in the video.
Latest update - upgraded to 1.57 by Hisuite Recovery. However the bootloop issue is still not fixed. IMEI is unknown and Camera has become upside down. I have very little chance to get support in my country from the service center where they refuse to support imported models and no option to send to UAE from where the model is from . Any tips will be highly appreciated.

I had the same problem. P40 Pro firmware installed onto P40 Pro Plus. Hopefully I had access to support and got my phone replaced.
However, if you succeeded in updating your firmware with a P40 Pro Plus version, it shouldn't loop boot anymore. What firmware did you use ?

Neither am I ^^
I have understood you can force upgrade with Hisuite proxy, but I'd like to return to "normal" automatic updates.

This is so frustrating. You have to find a way to reach Huawei support, even if you have to pay for the repair.
Where did you buy your unit ?
Bought from UAE, Using it in India .
Hello,
I have a P40 pro Plus with the buid 10.1.0.156 (C432E2R3P3).
I used the following method to downgrade to version 10.1.0.132 :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2b_lBPc-Hk
and for install GMS:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Lcq...ature=youtu.be
for the software used a search in Xda and you will have the solution
The only downside is that it is not possible to update the version afterwards, but it works while waiting for a possible commercial release from the USA.
