Can anyone confirm that the LeEco Super4 x55 TV indeed has BLE support enabled? LeEco showed (on the box) that it supported bluetooth 4.1; however, I can not for my life get any BLE device to connect to the TV or vice-versa. Regular Bluetooth Classic seems to work fine but I cannot get BLE to work. What am I missing? Is there a way to enable it since the TV is suppose to support it?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Bump. Anyone? I sure would appreciate any insight.
Wow. Not a single response. Fantastic bunch here.
Ok, I am saddened that not a single person is willing to try and help or offer any feedback. Not a great experience for a new person.
It could just be that nobody actually bought this TV...

For the record, I did buy this TV. However I can't offer any actual information regarding your question. There is absolutely no support for this tv anywhere.

Fair enough. Thank you for your response. I do appreciate it.
I haven't had an issue with any of my bluetooth devices, but, I don't know what version of Bluetooth they are using. I will say that if you're using it for headphones the audio lag is pretty bad.

Hello XDA'ers! My roomate just acquired a wonderful TF300! Its been updated to the latest 4.1.1.xxx. I've researched how to downgrade, unlock, root, upgrade and keep root. But..is there currently any way possible to have full HDMI output or mirroring from this device, regardless of the app(s) being used?
Frankly, he's pissed, but I get it. Hulu doesn't even want to play nice on a rooted device, let alone do full HDMI out. Why? Basically you get cable, without the commercials, on your big screen tv. Project Free TV is not an ideal option for him due to lack of an intuitive interface.
Thanks in advance!
PS, would one of those paid apps in the Google Play Store solve this problem, for say, watching Hulu?
EDIT:
The only reason he's considering root is hdmi mirroring.

No offense but I'm a little disappointed with its performance out of the box. The browser froze like 8 times, switching around apps was very sluggish. My gnex was much faster doing the same things. I bet it would soar unlocked with a good rom...
only for movies
AFAIK over HDMI you will get the resolution of your device at best (1280x800/720-bar) when you mirror over HDMI. Movies (that blank the TF300T screen) can be -provided source material is full hd- shown on external monitor/TV in full HD.
I don't know of a way to force upscaling the output to 1080p otherwise.
I'm also interested on an 300TG. In the settings is an option (HDMI) if the hdmi cable plugged in. Here is a choice between "Ausschnittmodus" and "Skalierungsmodus" (german Language). If i try the first one so i have a full screen, but the "taskbar" is missing. If i choose the second i have no full screen but the the bar appears.
I get mirroring when i play videos from YouTube and NETFLIX. Haven't really tried HULU+ cos i have Netflix instead.
Bump.
I've also noticed that in either of the hdmi output modes it's not quite right. Any suggestions for improving the output?

Hello. I've upgraded to lollipop and I've found that now when I connect to an aptx enabled bluetooth device a little message now pops up saying 'connected to aptx device' The z tablet had not previously been aptx compatible and the message never appeared before . Is it possible that lollipop has upgraded the tablet z? Or is it simply that it knows there's an aptx device but the tablet itself can't send an aptx signal? Thanks very much.
@gmjh I had a similar experience. I do not think aptX codecs have been installed by the Lollipop update. I believe the Xperia tablet is just recognizing your headset as a aptX capable device. I say this because, I compare the sound quality between my HTC One (which has aptX installed) and the Lollipop Xperia with my modded LG Tone Pro (with high end Logitech UE900s IEMS attached) and the difference is like night and day. My tablet is probably just using the crappy SBC codec.
---------- Post added at 04:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:35 AM ----------
On a different note, I should say, I am very happy with the aptX codec implementation and it quite lives upto its claims - the quality is close to a wired setup which is to say that it is quite an acheivement for bluetooth. I tend to use my bluetooth setup more often than my amplified wired setup.

That's interesting. I also have an htc one m8 as well as the sony z tablet. But when I play them after the lollipop update I cannot hear any difference in sound quality. If I then play via a lenovo tablet ( which definitely doesn't have aptx) then I can hear a night and day difference. So I still think it's possible the sony z tablet actually does have the aptx codec installed now. Thanks very much for answering.
Does the shield TV remote work with the nexus player?
I was curious as well. Particularly if the 3.5mm jack will provide audio if paired to the Nexus Player.
Bump just in case. I've very curious if the headphone jack works with the Nexus Player and, if so, what version is everyone using (5.1.1 or 6 Preview)
No one has tried the Nvidia shield remote with the Nexus Player yet? If anyone has one please try it out! Dying to know if the 3.5mm jack works or not for audio.
I'm picking up the nexus player tomorrow for my bedroom and will try as soon as I get home. I already have the shield and remote. Hope it works as it is a lot better quality of remote.

Ah yea. That sucks. Because the shield TV has the ability to adjust volume. I am guessing that means that on the NP you are listening to audio at full volume when using headphones.

So, to confirm, audio works but you cannot adjust the volume through headphones??
I went ahead and purchased an Nvidia Shield Remote to test. Folks, don't bother. The device pairs fine and buttons work as normal. Issue is when headphones are plugged in the volume is at max. Volume buttons on the remote do nothing.
One more thing, Netflix behaves just like as if you're using bluetooth headphones. Which means, not working. Upon starting a title you'll either get the 25% or 99% hang.
I can't get voice search to work with the shield remote and the nexus player. Anyone else have this problem?
Correct me if i'm wrong but, doesn't he default OS for the NP not have volume control? I'm using an AOSP version of the NP and it has volume control that i can use with my media remote. Would it work in this case?
Voice Control?

Today we’re taking a look at the XIAOMI 4K TV Box International Version. Latter this year, XIAOMI has switched up its TV Box product lines and ditched the All-Chinese models in favor of the International. Why go International? You may ask. Well, first off, its a heck of more applicable worldwide, but its also an affordable 4K HDR streamer without compromise in most aspects…..
Design
Continuing on its minimalist tradition, the mi box is characterized by streamlined design and a matte black surface, which is quite entertaining to our eyes. The images portray something exactly similar to the current MIUI-powered Mi Box, but we shouldn’t let appearances fool us. There’s plenty of improvements to be excited about.
kernel
Running on Android 6.0, the Mi Box is powered by a Quad-core 2GHz ARM processor from Amlogic, one of the most respected SoC designers in the world. Teamed up with a Mali 450 GPU, the box renders unimaginable performance in 4K ultra HD contents streaming from Kodi, Netflix and YouTube. Besides, the box is able to handle 7.1 surround sound, so it is doomed to be a fairly capable media streamer if nothing else.
Interface
Simple as it is, all the available interfaces are collectively placed at the back including 1 Audio, 1 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 DC IN jack, plus a LED indicator at the back. Wi-Fi includes the 5GHz band for quick video streaming, HDMI is of the latest 2.0a standard.
Remote
Noticeably, instead of being cluttered with buttons, the 2*AAA batteries powered mi remote is pared down to the minimum, containing Direction pad(up/down,left/right, confirm), On/off, Home, Return, Speaker, Volume+/- together with a microphone for voice search.
Dimensions & Weight
Slim and light, the quarter-inch thick mi box is roughly around .3.9*3.9inches in size, 6.05oz in weight. This associates us with the slang – the best things come in small packages.
What to be expected in the package
1* Mi box
1* Remote
1* Adapter
1* HDMI cable
1* Manual
You missed some very significant facts.....This box supports official AndroidTV. It is the ONLY MiBox with this advanced software which natively supports dozens of languages.
This box has the exact same physical appearance as 6 different Xiaomi devices and mere pictures do not allow you to distinguish one from the other.
For clarity, could you use the actual Xiaomi model number for this device? MDZ-xx-yy
Yes it does support the official AndroidTV and this device is different from the one released in USA. Please do not mix it. For appearance, there is not much to talk about , and I am not allowed to post photos at present.

The early roll-out has begun to the users that was part of the beta testing. There is a discussion on reddit about it. One thread says that it should roll-out for the general public in April. That must be confirmed thought.

does the op5 support HDMI output?
would an adapter like this work: https://www.amazon.de/Anker-Alumini...1499084828&sr=8-1&keywords=usb-c+hdmi+adapter
i would like to use it with a nexDock (until my Superbook arrives)
will the op5 support displayLink?
Following I'd like to know the answer to this too
There are hdmi related lines in buildprop but im sure the device doesnt support it.
The OnePlus 5 sadly does not support it, it only has USB2.0 and iirc somewhere in the spec sheet on the OnePlus website it's also stated it won't work
Asked customer support. Doesn't support it

OK some bad news.
Just tried my Anker https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/USB-Hubs...d=1499598741&sr=8-2&keywords=anker+usb-c+hdmi
And my Apple USB-C to HDMI https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/50t/Appl...499598762&sr=8-3&keywords=apple+usb-c+to+hdmi
Neither of them even pass through current, which is really really bad, i'm livid as I sometimes play games in work on my monitor when it's really quiet.
So so so bad on Oneplus' part here, this is the first big problem i've had, means you can't stream low latency to your TV using a cable? Wtf would you remove that feature?
Woeful behaviour.
PS: If anyone thinks that wireless streaming is on par with a direct line to your phone for the likes of gaming or even watching movies, you're wrong.

Ok so just added this line to the buildpro in /system
com.qc.hdmi_out=true
This actually allows the power to pass through but does nothing for output, both adapters now allow juice to pass through, i'll keep digging, there must be a way to allow this.

OK so after a little digging i've found that the VESA DisplayPort Alternate Mode may be an option should it be supported? Uses display link
Ok we could use the chromecast which for video is just about ok, but for perfect lip sync and gaming? Forget about it, it's a sub par peripheral which just can't cut it.
I just so happen to have a display link adapter in work so i'll be testing this on Monday. Personally I can't see it but will try.

Predominantly emulators yes, bare in mind what this phone is capable of.
Zelda the Windwaker - Gamecube: 100% speed 30fps as it was on the gamecube, a lot of other gamecube games work as expected too.
Megal Gear on the PSP, again 100% speed, 20fps as it was on the PSP, the vast majority of games work as expected on the one plus.
Bare in mind that this is the first phone (amongst other snap dragon 835 devices) which has been able to accomplish this and for a sense of irony it's the first phone i've owned in many years and i've had a lot which has been incapable of a wired TV out function?
I also run some PC games whilst in work, quake 3, Doom 3, Return to castle wolfenstein, all of which can be used with a keyboard and mouse which connects up perfectly on my HTC 10 via an Anker USB-C hub (which was £40, high grade and now useless!)
All Oneplus has done is followed Googles example by not allowing a TV out connection via a cable, it simply shows how out of touch these companies are with their users, yes sure there aren't a lot of gamers, but if you consider that One plus was spawned by a minority of developers who modded their phones anyway, this for me isn't progressive at all, it's a step back and honestly inexcusable in my eyes.
I'll get by, it's not the end of the world, I just don't understand the removal of a feature like this, it's on board, it has the capability, cost would be nothing? So there is no reason for it and little no to excuse.
PS: I'm also a PC gamer and have been for a long time, I play competitively and it's a similar situation, I have a 225mb connection which is completely stable 24/7 via a LAN cable, sure i could use wireless but I would lose latency and have more packet loss if i did and when you consider that I've paid for high end kit to shave off milliseconds losing all that by using wifi would make no sense, it would mean the difference between losing and winning.
Using a chrome cast for casual gaming like candy crush or puzzlers could possibly be doable, however anything that requires any kind of quick reaction is going to fail as the input lag is so severe, also when streaming to a second device you may incur lip sync issues, something that does not happen using a wired connection.
Obviously worlds apart from PC gaming but the principle is the same.
