I just got my bluetooth keyboard with built in mouse today and got it to connect. The mouse doesn't work but the keyboard does. Sadly there is no menu or back button on the keyboard. Escape won't work to go back and I would like to use control for menu if possible. Also I can use the FN key for special characters but not to change volume. My question is does anyone know how to remap these buttons?
Anyone? 10char
anyone? just want to set esc as back, ctrl as menu and something as search
Ok so keys work on CM 6.1. No menu button though but built in mouse works along with FN/VOL keys.
i've downloaded wiimote controller app found on the market.
i've tried using wiimote to play on Nesoid and it works fine.
What I want to ask is that is it possible to play other games other than emulators using my wiimote ? Because i found out I can control my tab using the wiimote after it is connected, just some simply task though, like moving through icons and pressing A button to open the app.
I notice there's the key mapping in the app. where i can map each button to correspond to keys in the tab. Example B = back , home button = HOME.
Is there a way to find out which key is actually corresponding to the key i pressed in a game ? Example : some games have left and right button on the left site then action button on right site and so on. Is there a way to know what key is actually corresponding to my touch on the left right key or action key etc ? If so it is possible to map wiimote button to that key and it should works fine in playing other games rather than limited to emulators.
Hope someone can understand my poor english and give me some answers.
Thank You.
Why was nesoid removed from the market? Can someone send me the apk for the latest version?
i get nesoid from slideme market..
does anyone have any solution/suggestion to my question ?
Sorry for this, but does anyone have any solution to my question ? Is there anyway I can know the actual key mapping when i press a certain button in a game?
I was attempting to setup my PS3 controller with my GalaxyS3 using the app Six Axis Controller.
I was to pair my controller, and get it to work wireless but I'm having some strange configuration issues.
It seems that the PS3 buttons have pre-assigned functions such as the Start Button which behaves like the GS3's home button.
This is causing conflict in some of my games.
Specifically on Dungeon Hunters 3 there are only on screen controls.
I went into SixAxis and setup a profile for the on screen controls.
However when I push the start button it still call the Home Key and kicks me out of the app.
It seems the keymaps do no override the pre-assigned mappings.
My question is,
Is there any way to disable these pre-assigned mappings so that there is no button conflict?
I should note, emulators work fine. If I go into an emulator and assign a key it sees it as a gamepad button.
The NES emulator for example accepts the Start and Select buttons just fine.
It only seems to effect native Android games with on screen controls.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Thank You...
I think I've figured it out.
There is a change you have to make to Six Axis Controller.
After creating your OnScreen controls, you have to set them to active in SixAxis.
To do so when you open SixAxis you'll see an option
Active Touch Profile
You need to select the profile that you want active in order for it to take over the button functionality of your PS3 controller.
Hope this helps others...
Hi guys, not sure how many people this will help but hopefully it will help a few.
I have a Harmony Smart Control which I used as my universal remote, it connects to the NP fine but I had a problem that whenever I tried to search for something in a Google app using the remote the keyboard would disappear. Did a search and Logitech said this was a limitation of the NP as the harmony acts as a bluetooth keyboard. Like I said don't know how many people this will help, but I've managed to get around it.
You need to be rooted and have Xposed installed, a mouse is required for the initial setup too.
Once you have Xposed install an app from the repo called Xposed Additions.
In the app scroll down and select buttons, then add new key. Click Allow External Devices and choose them all.
Hit the OK button on the Harmony remote (or whatever the equivalent is on which ever remote you're using) and the app will pick it up, then you need to click ok with your mouse to save the key.
Then select the key you just saved, it should be called Enter, the click Add new condition and choose screen on.
Then click the condition, choose the click option and find DPad Center.
Now the button will act as the official remotes select button rather than and enter button and you can use it in the google keyboard.
You can also use it to remap other buttons as well to add menu functions etc.
The app also offers lost of customisations such as long presses of buttons amongst other things so it's definitely worth checking out even if you don't need to fix any buttons!
Hope this helps someone!
What's up people, I bring you a zip for some, the best thing is that I usually use Xbox Game Pass and PS Play remote and there is no Xbox Guide function or simply PS button, what I did is remap Home button and Capture button in case you want to use it like me.
To add the Home function as before I advise you Button Mapper Add the link, this way you have Button mode (Normal button, Double tap> example Home button> Long press > Turn off screen) Also with the capture Capture button (Normal button> Double tap Screenshot> Long Press> Play / pause music (?))

hi... thanks for your explanation, but can you go into a little more detail please?
Also, can you create the same zip file but with the A/B, X/Y buttons reversed, so that they mimic the xbox layout?
Thanks

This is already a thing - you can find it here. https://download.switchroot.org/android-10/extras/joycon-xbox.zip

I don't have the hori controller, but I guess it wouldn't be the same. even so. if you are affected with the d-pad it is probably a problem of S.O. or controller keymap.
Hi @Chiveta,
I installed the March 2022 OTA update and now the capture button of my Hori Split Pad Pro doesn't work properly. I can't program it anymore. All the other buttons work without any problems. I haven't tested it yet with other joy cons because I'm on holiday and I don't have them with me.
Can you please have a look and maybe update your script?
Thank you very much!
Update:
I edited the mapping files (changed the capture button to Z, C and 4) but it doesn't work.
I use a gamepad test app and it seems that the capture button is recognized longer than the other buttons, like it's kind of stuck.
Update 2:
I saw in the changelog that there's a new function to turn off RSMouse with the screenshot button. I think that's why I can't remap the button anymore.
The original zip file from Chiveta does not work anymore, but we can modify the Xbox Joycon Layout Zip file from "[ROM][UNOFFICIAL] switchroot Android 10". Just modify
\vendor\usr\keylayout\Vendor_057e_Product_2008.kl
and
\vendor\usr\keylayout\Vendor_057e_Product_2009_Version_8001.kl
to whatever key you want, and repack the zip file, and flash it in TWRP.
You can find all keys that Android supports from the official Android website:
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/KeyEvent
For example, I figured out "KEYCODE_BUTTON_MODE" will trigger Xbox Guide Button Long Press (pop up the screen to turn OFF the Xbox). So if you would like to map the screenshot button for this, just changed this line "key 309 MEDIA_PAUSE" to "key 309 BUTTON_MODE"
Remember, you do not need the "KEYCODE_" portion shown in the official Android website.
Or you can just use my zip file.
I have not figured out which button will trigger Xbox Guide Button Short Press (pop up user screen). If anyone figures it out, please let me know. Thanks.
