Low volume after a while - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

Hello guys, coming from Zuk Z2 i'm now part of your community. Sorry if my english is not perfect, i'm not a native speaker, feel free to correct me or ask what i mean if you couldn't understand something properly.
So problem is, after a few minutes of listening to music (99% Spotify) my volume suddenly become low. From my experiences with my older phones, it seems to me like dialog pop-up box showed up saying my volume is too high for my ears (you know what i mean, high volume warning). But i disabled it. Weird. Only restart helps but only for a short moment.
Thing is, right from the start of using this phone, i didn't like low volume on headphones specifically in Spotify. So i followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/how-to/guide-honor-9-headphone-volume-increase-t3711247
I followed only first two steps - for disabling high volume warning limit.
Next files or folders i couldn't find , for example " /product/etc/audio/hi6403 " but that seems to be problem of my current android and emui version.
I'm using Android 8.0, Emui 8.0 , rooted with Magisk and with TWRP.
Next weird thing is, my phone is missing Huawei Histen 3D Audio.
After fresh install and setting up my phone i followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/guide-list-bloat-software-emui-safe-to-t3700814
Tell me please if something from the list could remove, or possibly damage my volume.
Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.

[Q] Permanent solution to too low In-call volume on headset

Hi,
I'm on Galaxy S2; Android 2.3.3; KE7.
When using headphones on my device the volume is great for music, videos, youtube, and even skype. However for some reason it's only around half of that level when calling (even tough the volume is set to maximum).
I've done some google research and found out that it's quite a common issue with this phone. A workaround has been found by using some codes. However, it is not a permanent solution.
I've found a post which says that someone had called Samsung and they acknowledged the issue and will send them a new phone where this issue has been fixed.
1) Has anyone found a permanent solution to increasing the volume of the call when on headset?
2) I've also found a post where someone says that apparently Samsung will fix this issue in Android 2.3.4. Can you confirm this? When will this be available? If it's longer than 1-2 weeks I will have to send my phone for a refund/exchange (although I love it).
Your advice on the above is much appreciated.
Hi, I've done some further research and I think I've found the solution:
First make sure that your sound is on (as you can't access the volume settings in the silent mode) -> press the Menu button -> Settings -> Sound -> Volume -> and then increase the 'Incoming call' volume.
I've just tested the call volume when on headset and it has been increased to a more that enough level. Great. My love to this phone is growing
Now I have to figure out how to disable the camera shutter sound....but that's a question for another post...
It seems that the solution above worked for some time but now my phone started to deliver very low call volume when on headphones. Maybe it's due to the Android update, I don't know.
However I found that the issue is related to the media volume. For example when I listen to music and turn the volume low then this affects the incoming call volume and it becomes low as well.
The solution to this problem seems to be: make sure that the music volume is max before you want to make a call. I've just tested it an is seems to do the trick.
It would be great to hear to another solutions to this problem for unrooted phones.
Heard this app works well,

Speakervolume problem

If i start any music from the music app the volume is ok for like 0,5 seconda and After that the volume of the top speaker is almost not hearable. The other thing is sometimes i dont have the Problem. It seems like It just happen randomly. I dont know why and I really dont know how to fix it. I search a solution here but I couldn't find a solution.
So can someone help me?
Edit: Its not only happening in the music app. Also YouTube videos and in games the top speaker is almost not hearable
Have you reset your device? If you have, then it's probably a hardware problem
Sorry that i took so long to respond but the problem solved itself somehow. I also read in the sony forum and find something interresing of an official Sony Xperia support staff write.
I've got some more information about this and when the loudspeaker volume decreases after about one second, this may be caused by “Smart amplifier calibration”, a Sony Mobile protection system for speaker playback to prevent damages to the speakers. The system needs a calibration when you reboot your device the first time. This is why the received voice on the speakerphone appears to be unstable. The calibration takes about 45 minutes. It runs automatically in the background and doesn't affect the audio for normal phone calls.

Seems like these 45 minutes confuses some of us.

Audio on CM11

After following the treads around here (by the way, good job guys) I managed to install CM11 on my kindle HDX 7. But there is something that i don't like: the audio on my speakers and my on my jack. About the first one, let's say that it is not as loud as the stock os (not actually a big thing), but the second problem, the jack audio it is really bugging me: first of all the volume is really low (jack plugged in, speakers at max, kindle at max); secondly i keep hearing cracks in my speakers (as i press a button on the touch screen or play media i hear a cracking noise in my speakers and afterwards everything plays nicely. this thing happens frequently. it feels like the sound hardware is turned off and as soon as i touch the screen and produce a noise it starts with a cracking sound).
About the volume problem of the speaker (not the jack) i search for a solution and found the one were you gain root access and navigate to \etc\sound and modify some m0 file or something like that, but i couldn't find that folder.
I have the same volume issues with cm11 and found a workaround by installing volume booster Goodev from the play store.
But does it solve the cracking sound from the speakers? Because i've read that it is just a volume booster
Flashing Dolby on Nexus v4 mitigates/eliminates most audio issues. Should work the same on CM11 although you may have to disable the stock mixer. Several Dolby packages are available. Suggest trying the one in the Nexus v4 OP first.

Thank you for that. I've flashed it and I can say that it is an overall improvement... But... The cracking sound is still there. Not so often as before, but still there. It can be heard if my tablet stands still, with no action and I press a button or something that makes a sound. It 'cracks' and then it continues to run smoothly. The crack noise is present whenever the sound starts emitting.

Yep - that's the 'mitigate' response. Some find it adequate while others (perhaps with better head gear) still hear objectionable noises. Intensity seems to vary across devices suggesting inconsistent component quality, suppliers or assembly (eg: shielding). I have a couple early thors; neither exhibit the problem. Safestrap users seem to notice it more although that may be related to later hw builds. Been reported with Nexus and CM.
Don't have a better answer at this time.
Thank you for your interest and for your answers

Just go to settings/system/sounds and set the time bar that appears to 12:01 am and 12:00 am. This will not affect anything else, just the system sounds.

Weird Audio Glitch

Hello, i'm not going to make long post and will try to make it as short as possible to understand
My volume (Speakers and Headphones) keeps going up and down at some parts randomly when playing Music/Video on high volume
Am i the only one having this glitch? Or is it normal? I don't want protection of my ears (some user said it's cause of that on MIUI forum)
Thank You

Yes it's happening after 9.6.18.0 update, but espcially while Play games while earphone plugged in not with speakers. They said (Xiaomi-POCO) they will fix it soon so wait till update arrive.
I have that issue too..... kind a bother
Next update is going to be big. With many fixes
I vs had something like that on .11 version. After updating it dissapeared and now music plays normal
this happend twice in my poco while on headphones
seems like when music player running in background
sometimes volume goes up and down automatically
after a while it fixed again
Volume auto adjusts itself very often
MIUI 9.6.25.0
Volume goes up and down whenever i plug-in the headphones and start an audio enabled app(Youtube, Wynk etc...). This is really annoying as the sound automatically adjusts itself to HIGH or even to zero sometimes. Please suggest some remedy for this.

pubg volume or any other app volume solution

Hey ppol... Many pol are upset with poco f1 for its low volume while playing games like pubg, enemies footsteps are so unheard and u get killed....
Even after setting up the mi sound enhancement nothing seems to be working,
Heres the solution which i have been using successfully,
1) adjust the equalizer and earphones in ur mi enhancement.
2) download volume booster by goodev from google store.
3) before running any app... Related to sound, switch on volume booster, i am using only 10% of the enhancement as thats sufficient for my ears and headphones, as i have noticed till 20% boost it becomes extremely loud... Ahead of that is a persons individual choice.
And vola now u can play pubg, in ur wired or wireless headphones loud and clear. And plz. Dont forget to switch off the volume booster app after u have played the game as without earphones this app also boosts the speakers of the phone (not good for speaker life) and even drains the battery if its running in background.
And the best part no root is required!!!
Kindly note i am not responsible for nything goes wrong or ur phone or ear gets damaged kindly install and use the app at ur own risk and plz. Dont go deaf loud.

I am using 10.1.3.0 itself, there are no changes in this version as well related to sound, in fact i think deep bass has taken a hit in this update.
Anyways its a option i suggested, some ppol need loud earing some ppol... Need low earing, its just the matter if anyone requires lil bit of more loud volume.

We've been discussing general Poco F1 low volume level in another current thread in this forum. I suggested investigating sound booster apps available from the Play Store. I've heard of this problem with other Android devices and people have looked at this route to improve the volume level for music, media, ringtones, etc. I've no idea how well these apps work but it is probably worth looking into as a possible solution to your problem.
