Charging Problem With Several USB - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hello guys, i meet some problem in charging. So i have 'blue' usb charging cable. But when i connect to my mido there's not charging (now), yesterday it's just okay. But when i connect that's to another phone it's just ok and charging.
I have try another usb cable to my mido and it's working. So i think (now) my phone doesn't compatible with that's 'blue' usb charging cable. It's there any solution? Now i'm using Resurrection Remix os.

Just ditch the one that's not working for the USB cable that is working. Not all USB cables are of the same spec or quality.
If this new cable stops working too, it could be a charging port issue. Maybe the port is loose and needs to be replaced, or got fried somehow. Or maybe the port needs to be cleaned.

it's a generic micro USB cable, you can find it at NOkia or HTC store
thanks for the reply, i already made some research and found out that the host cable is in fact a special cable that has 2 wires grounded on the micro usb side.
i actually was able to make one, but it must have broke a soldering point and if i connect it, it drains my battery in 10 minutes...
after the failure i just brought one out of ebay.
regards!
BTW: i encountered and other problem...
i had 2 micro USB cables, and i destroyed 1 to make the host cable, they looked the same so i picked one at random, now the phone wont change with this cable with the ac adapter connected i have to connect it to the PC to that it can receive power.
I tested with an other cable and it worked...has anyone experienced this?
I made one using an old USB extension cable. It took about 10 mins. Short the green and white wires on the female side of the USB cable. Now will use any normal in-car charger.

you have to have a short on the 2 data wires for it to charge.

Replaced USB port, still not charging.

So the other week I was charging my x10 and it was working, then later i noticed the light was off and it has not been able to charge since then. I have replaced the USB port on the motherboard but this didnt solve the problem. Is there any other parts on the phone that commonly fail that I can try replacing? The phone doesnt connect to the computer through any usb cables either.

USB cable connection not working!

Hello, i am new to xda-developers, so please have patience with me
I was using my original usb cable to charge my phone from my laptop. But one day some strange things started to happen, when my phone's battery was completely depleted i connected the usb and phone started turning on and off very often and I wasn't able to charge it even a bit. When connected to wall socket charger everything seems to be fine, it's charging.
But now the usb is not working, neither computer sees it (before i used it), i used other cables, no good. Now it's original ginderbread ROM, maybe i should reinstall it, but i can't do anything since usb is not working in any way.
Maybe someone of you had similar problems and know how to solve it?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply!
I tried cleaning it with Tooth Brush and even used special liquid for cleaning electronics contacts and corrosion removal, everything seems to be clean. But still nothing happens when connecting to laptop.
P.S. Same cable is working when charging from wall socket charger, so it seems the contacts must be clean and intact (at least power supply contacts), so maybe it should charge from laptop?
P.S.S. I forgot to mention, when the phone's battery is depleted, when i connect to laptop, it doesn't charge but in time phone becomes hot. So maybe this would prove it's a hardware problem?
Try different laptop USB port. If this doesnt help than probably your data cable is faulty. Just replace it with another one.
I think Your phone is fully operational if AC charging without any problems.

I have already tried different laptop ports, even different laptops, already tried with different cables (which all functioning properly with other devices and all are marked U2). I am pretty sure that's not connection / cable problem.

[Q] Issue USB Galaxy S Duos

My phone didnt charging with USB anymore... 3 times ago i turned off the phone em plug USB and try to charge, it started the phone normally but no charging... And now, trying any method and any USB works
My usb was bricked??? There is a way to know about it?? Ah log or a app that shows if a hardware are working??
Or any solution???
is your computer recognizing the phone when you connect it ?
if it is and charging is not working means that the charging pins of usb might be broken
I think the inner pins of a usb cable are for charging , they might be damaged .
Try using another usb cable
Sent from my GT-S5670 using xda premium
I used any other usb cable in other phones it works, but in my phone didnt USB cable neither recharger works i think it is my phone

If I get this right, you cannot connect your phone via Xiaomi branded USB to PC. But what about when it is plugged in to the Xiaomi charger?
I had (may still have) a problem, when I unlocked my phone. I couldn't connect to my PC through the Xiaomi cable and when I plugged in the Xiaomi charger, if the phone was turned off I would get a red blinking and If the phone was turned on, it wouldn't charge.
If this is your problem (Since I am not sure if what I did worked 100%) I would recomend you to use another USB cable (but remember to use the other USB/charger at least a minute later from the time you unplug the Xiaomi one).
What I did (I have read about it on the MIUI forum), was to remove the back cover and unplug the battery cables and re-plug them again. At first, it seemed to work. When I turned off my phone, I had the same problem. But yesterday it seemed like there was no problem. So I cannot guarantee that this works 100% .....
My phone is redmi note 3 special edition and
My sister phone is Redmi note 3 pro so i tried to use her USB port but doesn't fit and not working but tody after 1 month i use digital multimeter and i connect my charger and i check USB port so there is volt and i went to the cable that between USB port to motherboard also work and i check between motherboard and battery also work so i after that my phone boot up and then i connect the battery to motherboard and i see my phone charging the truth is i don't know how my phone go back to life haha coz i didn't find USB port part online for it. I'm happy.
I have one month tried everything to let my phone boot up but nothing so i just use multimeter to check if there is volt. What i checked (between usb port + cable and between cable +motherboard and between motherboard + battery cable )
Sorry for my bad English.
