Is the green charged LED connected to a sensor?
In dark environments is very dim when green.
But in bright areas the green LED is bright.
Is this something "newer" to Samsung?

hi guys,
this really is one of those "first world problems", but it is bothering me indeed..
I noticed that the "charging" led only comes on when the phone is plugged in but turned off.
I'd like for it to always be on while charging, whether turned on or off, and ideally for it to change color once charge has reached 100%.
Tried Light Flow, but doesn't seem to work.. any ideas?
I'm using lightflow and its working fine for me. It flashes orange while charging and green when it reaches 100%. It only flashes phone screen is locked though.
My charging LED does not come on at all when plugged in.....
For the record, when mine is powered off and plugged in I get the Battery display with a cool liquid filled battery as well as a notification light.
its a motorola thing. When ur device is on and charging the led light won't be on. Its the same on the xoom. Unless until some dev makes a custom kernel
apparently when ever you get a notification they light up? if that's.the case mine is messed up, are there any hidden settings for that feature

Mine only light up when the screen is on. The LED light above the screen(next to the camera) lights up on notifications or charging.
Same, only lights up when the screen turns on.
They also come on from drop in ambient light. With screen on in otherwise dark room, turn off lights they come on, turn on lights, they go off.
hmmm maybe I was misled

Hi I just recently installed Wolfbreak gaming rom, everything was fine until I charge my phone and noticed that the notification light was red not orange I thought the battery was too low, I left my phone charging until 100% but instead of showing the green light it turned off, I used led tester to check the led and the green color barely appears, and the yellow, orange and white colors shows a red notification, is it a hardware issue, do I need to replace the led, or is it a bug from the custom rom

If led tester shows up the green color it indicates that this is surely software issue. The "diode" in X10i is RGB module. There might be G damaged, but as you told, green colour appeared in led tester.
There might be another problem, with your battery... Dont you use some OEM battery? Try to clean battery stats and reboot, it might help.
The title says it all really. Been running RR for a couple of weeks but last night my LED was blinking blue but there was no notification, it was unplugged and 73% charged at the time. I played about in the LED settings and it stopped when I changed the low charge LED colour from blue to red. Any ideas why it did it?
Thanks
Why dont u post that bug in the rom thread where it should be... It's not hardware related ?
Thanks any way for me to delete this one?
Coming from an LG G5, I see no charging indicator light when I charge the phone. The phone does charge, but there is no red or green light visible. Nothing at all. Whether the phone is on or off and charging, I don't see a phone charging indicator light. Is this normal or is the phone charging indicator light on my unit broken?
There's no notification LED, the notification just goes on the always on screen

Thank you for the answer. That's good to know it's not broken. I still think it would have been nice for LG to include an Red/Green LED for charging status. Far easier to see.
