using this tool you will be able to extract .img from huawei update
thx sonneper, but the honor 9 is not directly available in the profiles - which update file i will use?`
but the honor 9 is not directly available in the profiles --> Don't understand ? If you're talking about the tools used to extract : You can use it to open any Huawei Update , I've try with Honor 9 zip and it works , If you're talking about the link you provide, IDK , I don't use this site : use Firmware Finder on your PC or on your phone ( any android device ) you will be able to download all firmware you need . Please give me more explications if I misunderstood.

So i rooted my phone ANE-LX2C185 ( Hauwei P20 Lite )
And since it was my first time rooting i flashed twrp instead of just booting it up temporarly.
But i cant seem to find the stock firmware files for my build number anywhere.
All i want is to replace twrp with my stock recovery again.
Can anyone please give me some advice or a plan B.
Thank you.
Must Have!
- Huawei Firmware Finder (HFF)
- Huawei Update Extractor (HUE)
(search for this in xda)
Use HFF to find YOUR build. Download "your build: FullUpdate"
Use HUE to extract from Update.app (inside Update.zip) the "recovery_ramdis.img". HUE make automatic "recovery_ramdis.img.header".
Copy this 2 files to your ADB-Folder
If you need stock-recovery:
- fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
If you DONT find your build - you must wait. It's a very good idea before flash anything download a FullUpdate. We need this for self repair.
Other chance : search if other user with this device AND build have "recovery_ramdis.img" and "recovery_ramdis.img.header" and share.

Hi , put your phone in fastboot mode:
https://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-mate-9/fastboot-mode/
Download and extract stock firmware for your device and flash boot.img , recovery.img and system.img .
If your firmware come up with .app use Huawei Update extractor in order to take those files from in to flash with ADB & Fastboot command line .
You have examples on the YouTube how to take and flash those files from .app. : ) Good luck
Thank you very much
that was helpful

[HELP] Mate 10 PRO stock return > What did am I missing ?
Hello,
Here is the summary
- Mate 10 PRO - BLA-L29 - 8.0.0.142(C432 EU model)
- Magisk Rooted
- Bootloader unlocked (via Huawei code)
- TWRP 3.2.1.0
I need to make my phone stock again, for that, I tried to make an OTA upgrade, but each time the phone reboot to apply the update, it ends to TWRP which is unable to deal with Huawei updates. I also tried with Huawei Hi Suite with same result.
I guess that I have to restore back the original recovery instead of TWRP, and this is where I'm facing some difficulties...
I've download this archive : Huawei Mate 10 Pro hw eu BLA-L29C 8.0.0.157(C432) Firmware 8.0.0 r1 EMUI8.0 05014VLL [androidhost.ru], put the 3 items (BLA-L09_hw_eu + BLA-L29_hw_eu + update_sd.zip) into the DLOAD folder placed in the root of my OTG USB key, but it ends to TWRP also.
Then I download this HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5 in order to extract the Huawei Recovery with no success :
- If I open the UPDATE.APP file, it ends up with a "RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img invalid image reader crc"
- If I open the "update_BLA-L29_hw_eu.app", no way to find the recovery file among thoses files : (look attached image)
Now, can anyone clearly explain me live I'm 5 how to proceed, or maybe provide me the original Huawei recovery image ???
Many thanks for help provided

In Huawei Extractor you need to disable the Header CRC check in options, then extracting will work just fine.
After extracting the recovery ramdisk image, flash it with :
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.IMG
That will replace TWRP with the original recovery and the OTA should install just fine after that.

You the man !!
This is exactly the missing part I needed, You've juste made my day, many thanks.
Info : If you plan to upgrade successively your phone through OTA, just ensure that you have a sim card inserted.
Hello,
I wanted to flash Lineage OS 15.1 on my Huawei Mate 10 Lite (RNE-L21). I have an unlocked bootloader and TWRP 3.1.1-0 (OpenKirin Edition, from here: Link).
Unfortunately, when only wanting to do a factory reset prior to the Lineage OS install, I accidentally wiped my system partition. Now Lineage OS won't install, as it is lacking the stock system (checks the system prior to the install, see XDA-LineageOS15.1-Link).
Now I want to install the stock firmware, in order to install Lineage OS. For this reason I checked my phones region and fastboot getvar vendorcountry returned vendorcountry: hw/eu. So I guess I am on C432? Please correct me if I am wrong. So I downloaded the RNE-L21C432B304 firmware from here. The downloaded update.zip folder with a fairly huge UPDATE.APP file (>4GB) I unzipped and put on the external-sd card in a folder named "dload". Inside the dload folder there is the UPDATE.APP file among some other files (folder META-INF, new_filecontext_system, ...). However, when I now enter the software upgrade mode (power + both volume keys) the install breaks at 5%. It seems that it either can't detect the UPDATE.APP file, or it is the wrong one. I also tried to put the dload folder into /sdcard/, but the outcome is the same. Also if I don't add any files (so no dload folder), the outcome is the same, it breaks at 5%, so I am not sure if it is even checking the UPDATE.APP file.
I hope somebody has a hint for me.
Best, Felix
P.s.: I also tried to flash the OpenKirin EMUI 8-based Build LineageOS 16.0 Build 2 using their guide (OpenKirin Installation Guide), which wasn't working. But as they state you need to have EMUI 8.0 installed, I guess the problem is that I don't have any system installed at the moment.
I finally figured it out. I was on Android 7 before deleting the system partiton. I didn't know there is such a big difference partitionwise between Android 7 and 8 and I always tried to flash an Android 8 image. Flashing an Android 7 image worked. Then I could update to Andorid 8 via stock Huawei tools and afterwards flash a custom rom.

I mostly used this site: Link
Additionally, there is some tool, which includes a lot of Huawei stock ROMs. Unfortunately, I can't find it anymore. But maybe you have some luck googling.
Because I just came by the tool I used: It is called Huawei Multi-Tool:

Can I safely flash new firmware on my nokia g11 Plus using "SP Flash Tool"?
They say that the program is for flashing devices based on the mediatek processor, but from what I know the nokia g11 plus has a Unisoc T606 processor?
Is there any other software to upload firmware to this phone model?
I want to flash Stock ROM

Thanx for answer, so i already have the program.
I have searched for several hours for software but all of them are just in .Bin format :c and the program requires a firmware in .Pac format
Strange because I downloaded the firmware from the given link.
Payload.Bin could be installed via recovery but on nokia g11 plus it is so poor it only has three useless options like reboot or turn of device :v
the file you have is not full firmware (because of the small file size) it's more likely just incremental OTA update file.
you can however have a look inside with payload dumper.
[TOOL] A QUICK Android OTA payload dumper
Made with Go. By utilizing goroutines, this can extract img files from (full) OTA payload.bin really quickly. See how fast this is: https://i.imgur.com/adpijqf Source Code: https://github.com/ssut/payload-dumper-go Prebuilt binaries...

Yeah right, it is OTA, If I don't find StockRom, I won't fix this brick, soo annoying cuz there is no .Spd firmware to flash in internet.
I even searched on Chinese forums, such a charm of these phones?
can only find 1.8gb OTA update.zip flashable for recovery mode.
maybe ask nokia support. or contact this guy (see unbrick EDL Package)
