Voice Recognition - Syntax/Semantics - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

I was an Android phone user a while back and moved to Windows Phone/Mobile (950XL) a few years ago. I gave up and moved to S9+. I understand that the voice recognition/input is from Google (for example entering a text message).
Is there a way to get the voice recognition to understand English syntax and semantics - am I missing something?
Example: If I speak: this is sentence one <very short pause> this is sentence two <stop> In my text message on Windows Phone it will convert to: This is sentence one. This is sentence two. I don't have to enter "period", capitalization, etc.
Is there something I am missing in android/S9? Thanks sf

No you're not missing something. It doesn't work that way for Android. You have to say period. Be nice if it did though!

Remove misspelled word from T9 word list

Hi,
I have mistakenly entered a misspelled word in my hero and unfortunately it’s one of the most common word in my language (Swedish). It’s very frustrating to have to click the correct word every time.
Is there any way to remove words from the user word list?
Also, I thought there was some intelligence built into the whole thing and that it would learn that I prefer the most chosen word an at some stage start to suggest the correct one. However, after choosing it SEVERAL times it still suggests the erratic word. Is it me or T9?

[Q] igo primo

i started a new post because i don't this to get lost in the million post in the main primo tread.
there are things from igo8 that i loved such as the second turn arrow that displayed also the distance to the following turn, which is handy in tight situations, i would like to get primo to do this, and was wondering what has to be changed.
there are some text in the igo9.txt inside the data.zip that i see however in they are the same lines in igo8 so i don't believe that's it. i have searched the Internet and the only thing i see is to use a different skin. the first problem is i don't like that skin and the second is the site isn't in English and I'm unable to download the package to look at what was changed.
the second problem is with tts. i don't use loq tts with primo as it would only say half the message and then cut out so i use nuance tts. but nuance doesn't seem to want to follow the commands within the sys.txt; and I'm talking about specifically "always_say_road_names=1". it will not say regional street names just the numbers, while loq tts did.
nuance would always say "rr 15" or something else sounding garbled, so i had to edit the voice zip and add "r===Regional Road" so i can at least understand what it said. but i want it to say the road names.
sorry for the long post.

[Q] changing text field editing interface

Hello!
Sorry if this is asked/answered, search isn't working on my phone.
Is there any way to change just the text field editing interface on the sgs2? cyanogenmod seems to have it down pretty well but the stock Samsung one that appears in practically all the ROMs I've tried is absolutely pathetic. If anyone is confused about what I mean, I mean selecting words, highlighting words, copying and pasting words, the little text selection arrows etc. It is frustratingly incompetent ATM and is making me want to throw my phone at a wall.
Its the one main thing that bothers me about Android, iOS has this perfectly sorted.
Most of the time now I have to write my emails/forum posts/Facebook posts etc (ie anything with multiple lines of text) in a notepad type program and copy and paste it over, as trying to select a sole word in the middle of many in a websites text field (or similar) is quite literally impossible.
Someone help me, it is driving me insane.
Thank you.
Is there seriously nothing that can be done about this?
I find that quite hard to believe..

[Q] Interesting problem: Software limitation on rapid keystrokes?

Does Android limit the rate of keystrokes when typing?
I have a custom bluetooth keyboard that can send entire sentences at once. On iOS, the text appears pretty much instantaneously. On Android, when I send the sentence it kinds of scrolls through and types it out, taking about a second to actually type out the entire sentence.
Sorry if this is confusing, basically instead of typing out the entire sentence at once, the text is entered one letter at a time with a little delay in between.
Is there a way to disable this keystroke limit? I would like to be able to type entire sentences quickly. Thanks!

Its more like a rom problem or maybe browser. Try touchpal keyboard and opera web browser as combo.

GBoard (Google Keyboard) Access all the words I have typed till date. Select!Remove !

Hi ! I have been using Gboard for the past year and I have registered a lot of phrases and words that I have now newly used. However recently I went incognito but I typed some really embarrasing terms in the keyboard and that has now been registered. I need to remove those words only ! Is there any option in Gboard that shows me all my PHRASES USED or ALL MY WORDS TYPED IN WHICH ORDER so I can delete only selective learned words ? I can at no costs lose all other words.
I have been in the hacking scene for quite a while so I'm familiar with rooting and recovery flashing. So I am not a total newbie ! I have heard of people data mining a apk to get all info that doesn't show to the average user. Would that be the thing to use ?
I know it's possible I just don't know how ...
