Hi
Thank you for replying to my question!
Can I use your 1.6 version for Galaxy?
And do I have to use some sdk other than the one you offer?
I have done many flashes through ODIN and "Recovery" but I'm not so familiar with ADB mode, is any guide around?
THanks again for trying to help me...
( I've PM you too )

Root Process:
Step 1: So A5 has many variants under it and so i have provided chain fire root kit for all of them, so choose the kit as per your device model and download it on your PC. Once downloaded you have to create a folder named A5 on desktop and extract the contents of the downloaded zip file inside it.
Step 2 : After you do the above step now you have to download the famous Odin for A5 which will utilize the above kit and root your A5 .
Step 3 : Now we need our device in download mode so to do that turn off your A5 and then press home button along with the power button and the down button of volume all of them together until the mode loads up.
When mode loads up you have to use the USB cable to connect the device to PC.
Step 4 : Now when you open the Odin software which you just now installed on your computer, you will see a message saying added which means that A5 is added to Odin.
Step 5 : Once added you will see a button on which PDA/AP is written which upon clicking you have to select a file named .tar.md5 from the extracted folder which you kept on desktop.
Step 6 :After you do that, you will have to for sure follow this point before hitting start so click on F.Reset time and Auto reboot options and then you can click start.
Step 7 : When you hit start the Odin by using the root kit files, will root your device and will take around 2 – 3 minutes may be less then that to complete its process and when it is done successfully then it will show a message saying PASS which means the root access has been achieved on A5 , If Failed Follow Below Steps
Here is a problem , If ODIN saying RESET then your device will be rebooted and rooted successfully but it already destroyed boot.img and recovery.img . don't worry we are going to solve this issue with some simple steps. Download Falshify from above links and install after that download firmware for your device from above links then rename the Firmware_File_Name.tar.md5 to Firmware_File_Name.tar then open it using winrar and extract boot.img , recovery.img then copy it to your device storage and flash both of them using Flashify . don't reboot after flashing one image, flash both image then reboot.
You Have Root On Your Samsung Galaxy A5 ,Whatever It KitKat Or Lollipop.

has anyone tried this
you can try this ...
Didn't work on my A5 A500M on Android Lollipop 5.0.2
What can I do? I followed all steps and did also the last one, because ODIN said RESET after flashing the root file. And after extracting and flashing the both .img files my cellphone didn't boot the system, it just went into the recovery when I tried to boot it normally. So I flash the firmware again with ODIN.
I just want to know:
1) What really happens when ODIN says RESET after flashing a file? You said that at that point the files "recovery.img" and "boot.img" are destroyed. What do you really mean with that? Are they deleted from the cellphone?
2) Mean this that the cellphone won't boot anymore if turn it off and then try to turn it on again?
3) What would happen if I flash the Root file and ODIN says RESET after flashing but I don't flash the both .img files? Would my cellphone work normally or not?
Thank you very much and sorry for so many questions, I'm kind of new to this!
Why make a topic about this ? Its just ChainFire-Autoroot.
Anyway, ChainFire is boss

Good questions mate. I would like to know there answers. These lines " at that point the files "recovery.img" and "boot.img" are destroyed" seems scary to me.
So; no answers here by the OP, and it worked for nobody...

Galaxy A5 (SM-A500H) error
Samsung A500H returns "Could not do normal boot"
Please, I seriously need help, I would be glad if you guys can help me out. I decided to root my Samsung galaxy s5 sm-g900v using a method from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...testers-required-easier-root-method-t3561529/ after I successfully downgraded the phone to 4.4.2 kk, I tried following the next steps to unlock the bootloader and flash my ROM which failed despite that I followed it accordingly.
After many fail to unlock the bootloader so I tried using Odin to restore to PB1 stock as mentioned in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72152905&postcount=3 after I used Odin to flash S5_KLTE_USA_VZW.pit and G900V_Firmware_PB1.tar.md5 the phone restarted and keep rebooting, I can't enter recovery mode again
My download mode screen says:
Current binary: Samsung official
System Status: Custom
Reactivation lock: Off
Qualcomm secure boot: enable (csb)
Secure download: enable
Please if there's any way you guys can help me out, I will greatly appreciate, Thanks

Download this zip file: https://firmware.gem-flash.com/index.php?a=browse&b=file-info&id=21199
It will contain a BL
AP
CP
CSC
Just flash the AP file and forget about the other files hopefully it works
Or this one if you want to get back to 6.0.1

Thanks so much mate, i'm grateful, let me give it a try, i pray it works, thanks once again
Hey guys,
I've just recently brought a Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) - I've tried rooting it with "CF-Auto-Root-herolte-heroltexx-smg930f" on a stock rom downloaded from sammobile.
Nothing has been working. It successfully loads with Odin, reboots and says "Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing" then reboots again and will not startup.
I'm not sure what is wrong. I've followed about 10 different sets of instructions and I've had no success with having any of it work.
The serial number of the device is: R58H729E0GM
The baseband version is: G930FXXU1DQEF
The build number is: NRD90M.G930FXXS1DQG5
I've enabled developer mode and enabled OEM unlocking.
If anyone has any experience I would very much appreciate it. I have no idea why it will not work.
Thank You so much in advance. (I've been searching for 2 days for a solution!)
I believe u need TWRP for that model, then flash CF-Auto with TWRP
Hey i have the same device rooted with twrp and herolte.img - install twrp and load the Image for your device ! Then you have to use odin and flash the herolte.img (in odin AP-Slot) to your device.
Then Boot up the device to twrp and Flash cf-image !
Hope this helps ....
If you need more Information ask here again...
Greetz & happy flashing
Hi
Xperia Tablet Z LTE version
Android version : 5.1.1 / kernel version : 3.4.0-perf-gbccb33a / Platform : 32bits / Build number : 10.7.A.0.228
I've still have stock firmware so I don't have option to boot to recovery mode. I've installed flashtool, bootloader is unlocked, device is rooted with kingrot. I've tried to install TWRP with offical app but without success I've tried to install TWRP manually, but also without success.
C:\Users\szm>adb root
restarting adbd as root
C:\Users\szm>adb wait-for-device
C:\Users\szm>adb push C:\twrp\twrp-3.0.2-0-pollux.img /tmp/twrp.img
failed to copy 'C:\twrp\twrp-3.0.2-0-pollux.img' to '/tmp/twrp.img': Permission denied

I don't know what do do next. I don't want do do something stupid and brick device. I want to install custom rom from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...pment/rom-resurrection-remix-n-6-0-0-t3748092
I'm thinking about flashing kernel with TWRP but don't know where to find correct one, old topics are with old firmware . Any advice?
EDITED:
I wasn't understanding the instructions. Firmware kernel doesn't block the TWRP. If someone has similiar problem to mine with TWRP. Just follow steps from this topic:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...de-tutorial-sony-xperia-tablet-z-lte-t3392831
Solution works with different roms and versions of TWRP. TWRP for me booted after installation so there was no need to use buttons. I'm now happy user of android 8.1 on Xperia tablet Z. Thread can be deleted or closed now.
