LineageOS 13 vs 14: What are the pro- & contra on the RN3P?

I'm still unsure whether or not I should go with LineageOS 14 or 13 and was wondering if you all could chip in with things I might have missed:
LineageOS 13
Pro
- All hardware works
Contra
- Only unofficial builds (for the moment)
- Based on Marshmallow
LineageOS 14
Pro
- Active development
- Based on Nougat
- Weekly builds
Contra
- Camera glitches/fc's
- Torch glitches
- no Xposed for Nougat
- Screenshare / Miracast doesn't work
Care to add points?
LineageOS 13
Pro
- Official builds are available here on the forum
LineageOS 14
Contra
- no Xposed for Nougat
- Screenshare / Miracast doesn't work
Sure those are official? The thread I've seen is labeled 'unofficial'
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-t3431866
That's not Lineage OS
CyanogenMOD is dead and gone. LineageOS doesn't provide any LineageOS 13 builds (yet?)
Right. There's no official Lineage OS 13 ROM. But commits are being actively merged and it's still being developed as of today. Unofficial isn't all that different.
True enough, sooner or later official builds will come but today, that's not the case yet, so I'm sticking with unofficial builds only (for now)

Hello guys, so as you know LineageOS 15.1 finally has been released, but seems that our Nexus 5 won't get an OFFICIAL BUILD for a long time, for that reason I decided to start making this DAILY or WEEKLY builds, until we get an OFFICIAL build from LineageOS Team. All my builds will be updated with last sources from LineageOS which will be like having an OFFICIAL build but it's not really an official build . Anyway guys I hope you enjoy this ROM and thanks a lot for your support and attention.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project and CyanogenMod with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS please visit Gerrit Code Review.

I have just flashed the latest 2802 build. Will share the basic experience soon(apart from battery life and cell reception).

Initial Impressions :
I was using Official Lineage OS 14.1 before this. I tried a couple of oreo builds like Unlegacy, LOS 15 but still went back to official 14.1. So my impressions are based on that. Also Nexus 5 is not my daily driver.
Tip: You need latest TWRP to flash this ROM (3.2.1.1) https://dl.twrp.me/hammerhead/twrp-3.2.1-1-hammerhead.img.html
1. I clean flashed using OP's instructions. With the recommended GAPPS, the first boot took 2-3 mins for me. The bootanimation is same as Lineage 14.1 but since it's good, I am not complaining
2. Initial Setup process is slightly slow but very slightly. Considering the age of the device I would say quite a breeze. I did not restore any backups and set up the device as new. So in case of setup time, YMMV.
3. The default wallpapers are wonderful. The default launcher also is brilliant. Has pull down for notifications, notification dots, different icon shapes (circle, super ellipse, squircle, teardrop etc). If default lineage icons is not your cup of tea, different icon packs are also supported. Overall perfectly stable and sufficient launcher.
There is a systemwide implementation of dark theme under settings>display>style
4. The system is stable, did not have any random reboots so far in the usage of 1 hr.
5. Custom button actions are supported (kill app back button etc.). Wake up using volume button works! ( big yay from me as my power button is spoiled).
6. Most Oreo features are supported and working.
7. As mentioned in the OP, the video recording looks a bit jarring when you move the camera. Apart from that, photos using old google cam come out as expected.
8. SELinux is set to to permissive.
9. Overall system is extremely smooth. Definitely as smooth as Lineage 14.1 or even smoother (but that might just be placebo for me)
10. ADB is not working for me on Win 10. Will try on Linux and update
Hats off to dev and a big thank you for such an amazing ROM. Keep up the great work.
If you guys need any screenshots, let me know

I also faced the ADB problem. It's not a big deal since ADB over network works flawless.
Apart from that, I completely agree with you: it is a perfectly usable ROM!

Yup. Just tested, ADB over network works perfectly. Really cant fault this ROM apart from bugs mentioned in OP. Super smooth
Strangely, ADB in TWRP works correctly and even shows recovery next to my device.
@Krizthian Can I take any logcat for the ADB issue? The pop up to authorize the device to use over wired ADB never comes.

(HELP)(FAJITA) Error when building ROM

I'm trying to build the Bootleggers ROM for the OnePlus 6T. I am using LineageOS Device trees and kernel trees for this device. I am using the common tree from evolution-x and the vendor tree from TheMuppets. I have gotten the source from the Bootleggers Github and I have done all the basic stuff of fixing the device tree. I have gotten this huge error after mka bacon:

I'm requesting your help.
