Hellow. I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 phone, 4.1.2 android version bought the menu at the debugging mode is diferent. I have Motion , accesory , data and time , accessibility , advanced settings , about device. In advanced settings i have the swich on/off in the top right and it's on and USB debugging mode on bought when i conect the phone to usb and pc....it starts ,,conneced as media device'' and i want to enter in debugging mode to root my phone. Pls help.
are you in download mode when you connect the phone in to usb? which guide are you using to root?
that's the way it works. it says media but the debugging also works
My Droid RAZR (XT912 with Android 4.1.2) has a broken screen but the digitizer still responds to touch. I still get haptic feedback and can unlock my phone (with unlocking noise if sound is on). I'm trying to get my computer to recognize my phone so I can connect it to my PC via ADB. My phone is currently in USB camera mode and it is not in USB Debugging mode.
Is there any way that I can remotely force my phone into debugging mode without being able to use the touch screen?
I shattered my screen and the touch doesn't work anymore, i want to enable usb debugging mode through pc, is there a way i could push settings files or something to enable it?
Nexus 4, TWRP recovery, Chroma ROM
