I just upgraded my Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition (Kate) to Global Miui 9 (V9.2.3.0.MHRMIEK).
I was able to install Magisk 16 via TWRP flash.
I tried to install Xposed via the Material Design Xposed Installer by DVDAndroid, but it just gets stuck on boot (on the MI splashscreen).
What version of Xposed should be used? It's MIUI9, obviously 64bit for our phone, but still Marshmallow.
Thanks!

Official Xposed might not work with MIUI. You might have to use the modified version of Xposed developed by Solarwarez, specifically for MIUI. For marshmallow, the version is sdk23.

Ok, thanks for this!
I'm under the impression I should be installing Xposed using Magisk, is that right? Or should I just find the version using DVDAndroid's Xposed installer app?
Same here buddy
Failed to install exposed after this upgrade
It stops on the miui bootscreen for horus
Tried even different exposed versions like 87.1 87.2 nothing works.... I wonder why not this upgrade

Are you having problems flashing Magisk?
I used ZCX-Twrp, and had no problems flashing Magisk. If you're having problems, try to flash the Magisk uninstaller and try again.
I am using Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon). Whenever I flash a pre rooted oreo based custom rom and try to flash magisk on the rom it ends up with getting an error, named error 1. I flashed using Redwolf TWRP. I have faced this issue with all these types of rom, like Resurrection Remix, AOSP extended, Linage OS 15 etc. Please help me out to get out of this issue.
same problem facing currently, please provide some solutions.

You need to use magisk and twrp for treble
TWRP Treble: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=890278863836285248
Magisk: https://downloads.akhilnarang.me/LineageOS/mido/Magisk-vcustom.zip
Thank you.
I am using Redmi note 4 and successfully flashed "PixelExperience_mido-9.0-20190305-1320-OFFICIAL.zip"
However, it is showing LTE only and I have installed ims.apk which is showing the notification that your device is HD capable. However, I want to convert LTE to VoLTE and how should I do that?
I have also rooted the device using magisk manager through Redwolf recovery.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
does a methode exist to root a P20 Lite running the OpenKirin AospExtended Beta 1 P1 ROM?
I already tried it with patching an EMUI 9.1 Recovery Ramdisk and with flashing Magisk over TWRP, of course whithout success.
And btw I get the "Bluetooth keeps stopping" error on every (OpenKirin) CustomROM but not on Stock Firmware.
I hope there is a solution to one or booth problems.
Thank you

Is there any ROM i can use Skygo (germany) on?
I was working until an update last year. I tried Lineage 17.1, Lineage 18.1 and Pixel Experience. Anyone with experience?
The app detects root, unlocked bootloader or custom rom. Is there any rom that is not detected as a custom rom?
