On floyo v0.15 I simply installed the .apk attached some posts above.
It doesn't replace any stock player, it is another one.
It features the cool Sony walkman logo, and an orange interface.
Pros: automatically download lyrics and cover art, and lets you specify whether download them under wi-fi or 3G connection.
Against: no equalizer support, no scrobbling support.
Here is the modified Arc launcher as seen on the screenshots in the first post:

obviously...because he put the wrong file. the right one is named phonesky.apk (lol). IMO, there's no point updating your market by this kind of method since if there is any new market version, your SGY will automatically update it when you acces market. nevertheless, if you want to make it stay in your rom until a new one comes, you can use titanium backup to integrate the update into /system/app.

I need the old facebook app that comes with the original phone or when you download from play store when you are on original rom.
My phone has a custom rom and play store is having the latest facebook app which doesn't work fine.

Don't think that version will work on newer versions of Android, maybe you could try Friendcaster or Fast for Facebook instead.
I got a US Unlocked Sony Z3 that came with about 5 free songs. I deleted this music by accident using the File Kommander app and a reset doesn't bring it back. Does anybody have the songs they can share with me?

Head over to Flash tools section in Xda forum you might want to search a bit
then download the required firmware for your model..its D6603 and flash the ftf file using flash tool.
Here is firmware section for you..
also there is a guide for flash tool read carefully and follow the instructions and you will get what you want....

Download the firmware from xperifirm and select sd card contents..that music is definitely there..i have already tried in my z2...so told same will work for z3

Hello I have f9212b problem. When there is no music playing there is buzz noise terrible always . When music is playing all is good. Android car head unit w203 mercedes benz help me
Get this. It helped lot for the bugs. It will also make your unit fast took me whole day to do trial and error.
If your screen became vertical, just do reset factory default and avoid screen setting forced mode - it will do upside screen, in my case - seems a bug
Disclaimer: Above worked for my unit, not sure though if other cases are same as mine. Still do some research

How do you login to download the firmware, as I am presented with a password/login screen and have no idea how to create an account?
Could you download and share the link to firmware hosted somewhere?

The package is in the Android 9.1 folder, but the actual Android version of the current install is 10.1.
When you installed the latest UI version 7.3, was it 9.1 or 10.1?
So just downloaded "gongban_F9212B_ui-9212B-AUTOTEST-hw-ota-v7.3"
then noticed my unit is DDR: 1G FLASH: 16GB
would it still work

u put the zip file donnt extract on the root on a usb format in fat 32,and go to to sysytem info-android update confirm ok the unit reboot and install update

After several install/unistall,and reading on forum 4da the firmware 9211 B is more responsive,the bluetooth u can shut off,and the navigation you can make the music execept the radio Fm ,can slide the volume until mute the second app.i have an internet apk,when the nav.is speak,the apk for intenet radio mute.For the best result,and for a more speed response the chinise version its more faster,but none google service,play store.I dwn the app that i want to install..i put photo to have an idea what is the china version.

Yes u can,but if want the unit to be more fast no google service install,they make the unit to go slow.U can use apk downloader on pc,down,what apk u want,put on usb and install it to unit,its more easy,and u will have a fast unit this way.
