I would really appreciate the help on my situation.
I have bought a new motherboard from aliexpress. and it turns out the board is a VS990 with H901 5.1 installed on it.
Its working like a charm now I received the OTA update to android 6 but I am very scared to go ahead with the update as it will most probably brick the phone. had anyone passed by same situation? Do i go ahead and let it do the OTA update? If not is there anyway I can install Nugget on my (scrambled egg like) setup ?
I will very much appreciate the help please.

friend could you make a backup of your system to repair mine is a h990 plate with h901 10c system I happened to update and it was brick :llorando: gracias ...

My LG v10 has just gone into bootloop forever.
I am seeing there is alot of people reporting this issue recently?
Any update from LG.
And how can i claim warranty if I got my phone from eBay.. its the F600k Olleh version from Korea.

My F600S is bootlooping too. I have the version from Korea too (SK Telecom).

Hi mine got bootlooping issue too, I cant even go to recovery mode. LG recommended to change the motherboard, which is too expensive option for me. LG V10 F600S here. Please update here if you manage to find a solution

This worked and I could backup my files and delete before getting my replacement and sending this one off. I don't know how it will work long-term but if you just need to get your files - try it! Hi everybody,
like manny other user, I've tried too update my H900 and didn't knew, that the Mainboard is from VS990. I used the LGUP flashtool and web_h90021w_00_0921.kdz stock rom from this forum, because I'm in Germany and won't get any OTA updates.
Now, like all the others, I am in the Android 6.0 hole. That means the device is starting but VPN, Fingerprint sensor and some other apps are crashing and I can't downgrade or upgrade or do anything because of locked bootloader and downgrade.
I will never ever use a LG device again! The software and hardware versioning really s...ks, you can call it bad engineered and bad managed!
Is there any solution to solve this problem and get a working device in the end? No matter which Android version, no matter if rooted or not, no matter if temperary bricked or not.
Just ANY solution of his issue?

When the update is complete, the phone is completely disabled, which means that the bot area is damaged by a technician working with a flash. The h900 att is a flash that has a lot of problems, including a fingerprint that does not run apk applications.

I bought a refurbished V10 from AliExpress. The version in LGUP says H90110C. I saw people who is having hardbrick after try to update to Nougat. How do I know if this phone really is a H901 and can be update? To my surprese, the phone came with root acess. In this case, what shold I do?

Well, I've been with my AT&T LG V60 for over a year now, stuck on Android 10. This issue is known, and AT&T doesn't release their kdz, and we can't update if we don't have AT&T service. So, I've been waiting here at XDA for news where they confirm a way to update safely.
I don't know if there is any tutorial using cross flash or using QFIL, that someone has already tried successfully.
