Hi guys!!
I receive my honor 9 two days ago, and update to Android Oreo, and Emui 8.0
Now i wanna know, its possible to change led notification color ? Like green for whatsapp, blue for facebook, white for email...
It´s native possible??
It´s native possible?? No
maybe some apps can do that, but not in my knowledge
I use 'Light Flow Pro- LED Control' android app, in waiting for emui8 to add a proper LED notification menu, a free version exist.
By the way some LED default colors choosen by emui8 won't work with our LED.
For example: the default orange choosen for tapatalk or the purple choosen for yahoomail.
The downside of Light Flow is it showing only led notifications for apps that you already have setted up in light flow not showing the previouly working emui led notifications if you didn't added them in light flow.
I use Light manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koo.lightmanager
and dont have any problems. The colors, which I have set, are properly showing.
Emui 8, Oreo.

In my x10 mini I've seen a blue led blinking when I started LED/Illumination test. There is nothing about blue led in manual. Is blue led unused in this device?
as i know none standart app that use it
but when you backgrounded ebuddy and you get a message
your led will blink blue
so i think 3rd party software uses it
There is an App for that: "Blink"
Handcent - user configured
You can practically set any color for the LED (I think) am I correct?

correct you can use the app called 'led tester' from the market test all colors (switch off the screen in order to see the led blinking)
one of my favourite things about my mini is having different coloured leds and blinking patterns for different contact messages. i use handcent to configure this i dont believe the stock app can do it.
Surprising!!
Handcent doesnt seem to work on my mini pro LED..
i use tasker 2 change and use the LED
Hi all,
I've noticed there are several different LED colors that appear for notifications.
Was just wondering if anyone had figured out which color corresponds to which notification?
Because sometimes the light is blue, green or white? Can't decide which color is for what
Thanks guys

There is not much informations on that page.
When you plug the charger, led will red if battery level is btw 0 and 90%, above 90% its green (even at 100, it still show green-i dont like that).
When you download any app on market, led will blink...
The notification LED can be controlled based on what the app wants. FB can make a blue LED, Whatsapp and general notifications are green, charging is yellow, fatal errors are red, white I've seen on different apps, so it really depends on your app usage. You can't control it directly though settings or anything.
Thanks all for your answers.
Does anyone know of an app in the market which enables you to take control of the LED color? So I can set the LED to flash a set color for certain apps?
Thanks again everyone.
Light Flow works, but you gotta go into
General settings for the app and enable "Direct Mode"
It also asks for root and accessibility settings enabled, but it does work

There is any way to make the notification led brighter? Because for example the blue color is very very low and I can't see it, and the Red and green ones are better but are not noticieable..

Download Busy box from playstore, open the app and install it.
Download LEDs-U-CTRL from playstore open the app and install it (installation will take a couple of minutes).
On LEDs-U-CTRL click on AppSelector and download from playstore LUC.radar.It's a trial version (after 10 reboots will expire) but you can see on app's playstore description how to get the full version for free.
After that, you will be able to choose various colors for your notifications including red (missed calls, messages, whatsapp ecc).
Enjoy!
I mean the led that is at the right of the front camera, not the led bar :3
i think it can't
No idea how to do that mate. Just a question though. Why not using the led bar? It's easier to see notifications i think

There are several apps in the Play Store, which can manipulate the LED light for different notifications:
Light Manager, Light Flow or Flash Notification.
Have I got my facebook, Facebook messenger and WhatsApp set up wrong as I don't get a notification light when I have notifications on these apps?
Or am I reading that is a software fault?
I'm on emui 9.0.0
Hg3.gb.9.0.0.10(CT)
ok so can anyone just reply quick that yes or no that there LED does work on notifications??
I don't use Facebook app or whatsapp but I definitely get notifications led for messenger. Using 9.1.0.302
I'm not sure that those operate the lights by default.
I use Lightflow (LF) and set it up for all my various notifications. Been using it for years.
Be aware that on the Mate 20 Pro that not all the various colors that you can selectd with Lightflow can be displayed. I don't know why they have that limitation. But with LF you can have the LED solid, slow flash, fast flash, etc.
I do get red, blue, green, cyan. May have another color or two...but I'm only a week or so into this phone, and need more time to investigate the colors.
