You flashed a rom with this?
a505f recovery setup, custom recovery error.
Is there something missing here in the instructions? I thought without decrypting the phone that the recovery partition would fail to boot due to custom binaries not being allowed by samsung?
I have two A505G's for 10 more days, so I'm gonna try this tonight.
How about TWRP recovery, where is it? how I can flash it if there is no TWRP recovery
It can not enter PithBlack recovery after flashed it.. stuck on samsung logo

Tweaks dont working
Tweaks dont working :'(
The new UI looks refreshing!!!
I was just thinking that it has been ages since potter received any update for TWRP
Noob user here. What are the differences or additional features compared to TWRP? It would be nice if they were mentioned in the post.

TO USE THIS RECOVERY BOOT THIS RECOVERY LIKE PBRP
There is a workaround for booting PBRP and Images:
Boot PBRP and images is possible also on Android 10, but it needs some workaround...
1) Turn phone into Download Mode
2) Use command
fastboot flash recovery PitchBlack-PL2_sprout-2.9.1-20200613-0901-UNOFFICIAL.img.img
(PitchBlack-PL2_sprout-2.9.1-20200613-0901-UNOFFICIAL.img short forum PBRP)
where PBRP.img is your PBRP image you want to boot up
It will show this error:
No such partition
This is because an A/B Device does not have a recovery partition. It's located in the boot partition itself.
3) Now you are able to boot your PBRP image again:
fastboot boot PitchBlack-PL2_sprout-2.9.1-20200613-0901-UNOFFICIAL.img

No I am not going to update this project anymore
allright, @keneankit01 , thanks for letting me/ us know. I guess updating a fork with the latest master from PBRP is not just copy/ paste but a lot of custom tweaking. Just out of interest: how many hours dev work do you think would it roughly take, or minimum/ maximum, if that's easier for you to guesstimate.
Any idea for keeping it permanently
Using magisk bootpeach
Any other for keep permanently
Like zip flashing
Any customkernel forpl2 for performance in gaming

Hey thanks for your work!
Followed the procedure, flashed img, then zip from TWRP 3.4 and EvoX custom ROM. Flashed successfully, booted to OFRP. But then fails to boot to system. Always boots to recovery.
Did I miss something??

Flashed magisk after the rom?
Also, try using TWRP 3.3. Flash img as recovery ramdisk then after rebooting to OFR flash the OFR ZIP - then rom - then magisk.
It was tested and confirmed that it works and boots roms so it should work fine.
How does it handle encryption, is it able to decrypt?

SHRP is inspired by Material design 2 to bring the newest design to the native TWRP. SHRP provides much more along side of it's rich UI experience. New dashboard makes it very easy to interact with TWRP. SHRP got some cool features like whole new theming section, flash Magisk (root or unroot), Camera2api enabler directly from dashboard, password protection, etc. It's all started, lot more to come.
- Themes
- List view mode along with grid dashboard
- Status bar customization
- New rounded icons added on dashboard
- Notch mode with toggle to disable
- Dark mode or pure white, it's on you
- Navigation bar customization
- Settings + Advanced Settings
- Flash Magisk
- Clear fingerprints.
- Flash ViPER4AndroidFX
- Recovery Locking, Pin or Pattern lock
- CPU core lock/unlock
- Language changing
- Hal3 / CameraAPI2 enabling/disabling
- Oreo+ Reboot menu style
- Redesigned lock screen interface
- Magisk Manager - Enable, disable or delete magisk modules right from SHRP
- and many more, flash right now to find out
If you already have a custom recovery installed:
1. Download the recovery.img
2. Boot to your custom recovery
3. Flash the recovery.img
If coming from scratch:
BOOTLOADER UNLOCK!
1.Boot into fastboot mode (volume down+power)

It appears this build is missing some supporting scripts / files. I've tried a few of the Tweaks (Disable Encryption is my main interest) and SHRP seems to be looking for supporting files. Are these available separately? If so, where may I download them and into what folder should I put them?
