Hello guys,
so due to my phone getting bricked, when i fixed it, it no longer recognize the Cellular Network
as i asked in DC Phoenix Forum section (because that's the software that allowed me to unbrick my phone)
they said that now the problem is with my nv partitions and i need to flash it again
the problem is i don't have a back up of it, and it should be taken from a functional Honor 5X
so my request is for anyone out there who has this phone, to do a back up of this partition and send it to me to help me get my phone back and running
i'm looking forward for your help guy

PLZ!!! help....JTAG can't help..They brought back a dead Streak..now some DEVELOPER plz get this issue of "Invalid SIM" resolved...some shortcut to enter the key or to find the key & then enter.................Plz refer this post..need help..stuck with more than 10 days...

Hi Dear, have you found any solution for your problem. Is the WIFI & GPS working in your case.?
No solution yet. I have given it to the person who did JTAG and he said he tried a lot of stuff but nothing to get the SIM working. I have even tried with AT&T SIM and O2 SIM, yet no luck. He will try Rebelsim to check if that helps.
I have just done a full (NANDROID BACKUP) restore. NOT WORKING .
EDIT: Was it Locked phone?, Have you downgrade to the official ROM?
In on of the forum I got an answer says "SIM_Secure partition got damaged due to the JTAG"
So I want to ask, In case I transferred an internal SD from another streak to mine, will it work.

If you can please provide me the link for the forum and I can try to get more info on the JTAG problem.
Now about Internal SD, I don't think it will help.

For Internal SD, I have asked and people said it will not work.
Moreover, I have contacted one of the user in above forum and he replied "QUOTE" Hi , i can help you only in case if you have backuped full flash from you streak before ressurection , and it have valid ( original sim secure area). If you dont have backup ask riff team for such kind of solution.

Blocked in stock recovery mod
Hi everyone,
I'm writing this post because I'm hopeless in this moment. I have my ZTE v987 blocked in stock recovery mod ("android system recovery 3e") with no chance to flash or install any ROM or Firmware.
It happens to me when I tried to reflash CWM Recovery 6.0.3.7 with flash tool to reinstall Bruno Rom instead of MIUI ROM. I needeed to reflash because since when I installed MIUI ROM, the CWM rebooted by itself after few seconds, preventing from install any zip file.
Unfortunately, I flashed preloader and after that, my zte dead (it do not even power on).
However, reading some tread and many, many posts and guides about to unbrick mtk65xx, I find a solution (thanks to Bruno) to raise from the death my smartphone. Basically, I was able to flash my zte using flash tool and "ZTE V987 stock partitions" (posted by Bruno to another member of this comunity) but from that I'm blocked in android system recovery 3e.
Can everyone help me, please?

Thanks for the answer.
I found a solution and now my zte v987 works fine, but I have still some huge problems:
SIM not detected, pttycmd1 not found, NVRAM empty
Unfortunately, the only way to resolve these problems is to get another functioning zte v987 and make a backup with Mtk droid tools. So, I can make a radio and NVRAM restore.
There is nobody in my town with this model of zte smartphone and I can't do nothing to bring back my phone.
If anybody can help me posting this backup, I will appreciate a lot

I don't have V987 anymore, but fortunatelly I kept some old files on the computer. You can find in attachment my old V987 NVRAM backup. After flashing it you should change IMEI numbers.

ZTE V987 locked network
I flashed a different rom this afternoon but I didn't like so I came back to Bruno's . When I restored my backup my phone asks for my pincode and "INSERT BLOCK ME SIM"
I got my unlocked phone so I sent an email to the webpage where I bought it, but I have no idea if they will be able to help me, because I have been flashing my phone.
There is any solution? Any way to get the code or using my simcard without it?

Hi, did you solve the problem?
I have the same problem after I flash "HTC ONE M8" firmware. I successful unlock first sim card with 12345678 code, but the second is still locked.

Hi all! This is my first post here at xda forums, so bear with me...
The back key on my V987 does not work anymore. Have anyone had similar problem with this device? Could it be physical fault?

hey developers. i need some expert advice about my phone, my phone is of lenovo model no. x3a40 (lenovo vibe x3). It got hard bricked last week, so i try to flash the stock rom using qfil and it flashed successfully still the phone won't boot up. Their are 3 stock rom versions, i tried them all but the phone won't boot up. i pressed the power button for atleast 1 hour or may be more still it wont boot. i checked the motherboard, no problem in that, remove and reconnect the battery supply, still no success.
so now for last resort i want some help about this issue, if any dev faced this problem and know the solution then please help me. i really need this device. :crying::crying:

Hello guys!
today my wiko ridge 4g got bricked.
i tried qfil,qcomdloader to install stock rom in my phone, qcomdloader stuck to 1% forever while qfil flashes but no boot.
someone pls help me my phone is stuck on wiko logo and is able to boot into download mode.
qfil also shows something like (PROGRAM:READ BACK VERIFY FAILED ON SECTOR xxxxxxx )
can someone tell me what problem exactly is? and whats the solution..

I tried to reverse engineering XiaoMIFlash and try to bypass EDL Authentification
I DONT HAVE TESTED IT, it took me 2/3 hours and i don't really know if it working (I Can't test it because i dont have any bricked phone at the moment)
I am alone doing this, maybe this community want to support me and help and make it a great bypass

How it works?
I tried to avoid EDLSign verification, using fake details and removing Exceptions
How to use?
Boot your phone in EDL Mode throw TEST POINTS
Connect your USB Cable to the phone
Login with your MI Account into the flasher
Select the correct rom (China = China, Global = Global) (China + Global = Brick) !!I Have removed the "Clean All and Lock" Option!!
Flash it

Hello, i unbricked it by paying a guy that have an EDL Account
But now i want to bypass this authentification and stop these scammers earning money easily
I'm going to fix this script as soon as possible , now probably doesn't work and my MI 8 is not bricked so i can't test to make sure is 100% working
I search for someone that know better than me how "QsaharaServer" works and give me help developing this crack
While my mi8 is not bricked this is great of you. I really hope you can make it coz a lot of people had their phones damaged because of stupid ARB.

But i need someone testers, Today i found a new exploit and im going to publish it asap
I own a mi 8 global to remove the account on miui 10 already in Edl mode, if you can serve I can give you access to the device via USB on the internet or through a teamviewer session if you need to create a working program.

I guess you're aware of Whyred affair, someone finally found the bypass. There's a thread with a guide, in miui forums I think. The trick is of course in the ROM used to flash in EDL. Maybe you can contact the thread author and receive some guidance about the changes he made in the ROM.

I already saw this note 5 trick, but i dont understand where is the "bug/exploit" that he used to bypass authentification, probably in "this.needEDLAuth" factor

My guess is that you bought a Chinese phone with global software?
If so, you are a victim of a corrupt vendor. I have read on Mi Forums the fastest solution to unbrick phones in this scenario is to contact the vendor and due to push back from Xiaomi management pressuring large distributors such as BangGood and TaoBao to do something about the scam , that many of these vendors are now willing to provide you with their Mi account and password which will allow you to unbrick for your device for no charge.
I am digressing a bit here. But I don't understand, how these 3rd party scammers are able to unlock devices that are not linked to their accounts. My Mi account has my Xiaomi phones and non -Xiaomi phones that I had previously used Miui Roms on.
Try contacting the vendor and report back here if that works, for you.

Don't fall for that scam, I tried unlocking my moms bootloader with my account and it didn't work because her phone is linked to her account.

I am here with mi locked mi8. I dont have access to mi account bound to this phone. Tried s-unlock, they logged in with their account, i used test point method to enter qualcomm mode, phone flashed ok, but mi lock remained there. It seems that i payed for nothing!
