Can't freeze apps with Titanium Backup - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I cannot freeze apps with Titanium Backup Pro.
I am using a Zuk Z2 Pro
Official Rom: ZUI 3.5.244ST (Android Oreo v8.0.0)
Unlocked - Rooted - TWRP
Titanium Backup Pro 8.1.0
SuperSU Pro
Busybox Pro
In "AUTO, Direct" mode nothing happens, in "AUTO, Indirect" and "INTERACTIVE" mode it just stays on 'freezing...' forever
I tried this already:
- Install busybox pro,
- Troubleshooting settings > checked 'force system busybox'
- In SuperSu enable/disable 'Mount namespace separation'
- Enable/disable USB debugging
Can anyone help me?
(added logcat running Titanium freeze app in Auto, Indirect)

Titanium Backup - help a noob, please!

I have bought the TB pro app, and would like some help.
Perhaps I’m missing something obvious here, but I did the following:
- Batch -> Backup all user apps & system data
- Wiped my device (Nexus 7), flashed a new rom (both based on stock)
- Installed TB, then TB Pro.
- Batch -> Restore missing apps with data.
However, a lot of the apps I restored have restored to their ‘just installed’ state. Ie. Passwords and any ‘user’ data is missing.
Examples:
- Facebook app (doesn’t know my username and password)
- Twitter (same)
- Lastpass (same)
- Moxier Mail (forgot my account settings)
However a few apps did remember my settings / data:
- FPSe
- Sixaxis controller
- Gmail (and other Google Apps)
Any advice greatly appreciated.. Many thanks.
Ignore me. Read your post wrong

Whenever u backup apps using TB always tick the option to backup all installed apps with data.
This is the reason why ur apps didn't have any data
That's what I did.. ! Any other ideas?

How to install stock settings on Android 5.1?

I have Uninstalled settings and I'm unable to install the settings apk.
I have lucky patcher and titanium backup if that helps.
Also I'm unable to use USB debugging or install apps that aren't on the play store.
If you wonder why did I uninstall the settings is because on my device settings app contains malware (In the stock rom without needing to do anything).
Model is "Archos 55 platinum" if helps.

Failed to put apps to hibernation.

I am unable to manually hibernate apps from the Greenify app interface. It shows an error saying "Failed to put **app name** into hibernation". A screenshot is attached.
Greenify has been granted superuser permissions and is working in root mode.
SuperSU Version - 2.79 (latest)
Android version - ResurrectionRemix 5.8.2 (Nougat)
Device - MotoE2(4G-LTE)
The logs are attached too.
I'm having the same problem, Zooper and YouTube won't hibernate.
Same here after update. Rooted and Xposed
Try to clear data for Greenify and re-enable. Also choose Greenify as Adminstrator in privacy settings and enable the accesibility service...
It might work..
Check if you still have root access. I faced the same issue because I lost root access due to software update..
A clean flash fixed the issue.

Root users Mate 10 Pro disabled apps?

If you have rooted your Mate 10 Pro, what apps have you safely disabled, uninstalled or installed?
I have installed:

Adaway
Root Explorer
Titanium Backup

Titanium backup not restoring apps linage OS 15.1

I have just flashed linage OS 15.1 (Based on Oreo) on my one plus 2 and i have installed titanium backup again and selected my backup folder and hit batch restore all apps and data but it just freezes on 0%
i have managed to get it to restore 2 apps or so by messing with the settings and then it just does the same again and freezes.
Could this be a root issue? i noticed that when i installed super SU through TWRP and booted to the system it wasn't installing the super SU manager app i had to manually download it from the play-store, i had also installed root checker and everything comes up OK.
Also i have tried indirect mode in the tibu settings and it still freezes, the only way it works is in interactive mode but that takes forever to click install that many times.
Busy box is installed
Super su is installed (might be the issue)
verify over usb is unticked
USB debugging is on
also i have turned off google play protect but i have a good idea that its something to do with that could be causing the issue
Im stuck with what to try next if anyone has any ideas let me know im lost here :good:
I'm curious about this as well. I had this issue on my old note 4 the other day. Only thing I found on Google is to deselect a Google security option that scans apps. It might work for you. It didn't for me.
I'm actually wanted to play with my Nexus as well after a long time. So this will be interesting if I will have the same issue.

Hello,
did you tried magisk instead super su? Did the root pop up came up on titanium backup start? Is root granted within supersu app for titanium backup if not granted on titanium backup start?
There's a dedicated thread for those questions :good: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2717159
I'm having the same issue. Did anyone find a solution?
