I have serious problem. There is NOTHING on huawei/emui site about unlocking bootloader. I know that i have to unlock it that way so i can flash my recovery.img . Can someone help me finding this. Before few month for different phone i was able to find that but now, no where nothing about unlocking bootloader. Im stuck there. Thanks. Does anyone else have this problem about huawei and their bootloader locks.
Im using Honor 8 Lite (PRA-LX1)

'till last week I was able to install every custom rom I wanted to on my mediapad, but now, after reinstalling an original one, my bootload is locked!?!
How can it be?
Fastboot says my lovely brick is LOCKED.
Is there a way to unlock it?

Just flash older fw version from huawei website. Last 2 or 3 versions are with locked bootloader.
This might work:
fastboot oem unlock

try to flash official c232b005. that is the last stable official rom that not lock the bootloader.
huawei starting to lock the bootloader from the released rom after that, for device s7-302u. maybe they think with locked bootloader user cant or difficult to root or anything else with the device. that can minimize the device brick.

Need help) After flashing custom ROM bootloader relocked and I can't unlock bootloader with 'fastboot oem unlock'. Says 'OK', but status doesn't change (tampered:false, unlocked:false).
I'm on Mac OS, so can't use Win tools.
Found solution for OnePlus 2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/unlock-wipe-reseting-tamper-unlockbit-t3275223) and OnePlus One, but afraid to use em on X.

Solved with Flashify (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify). LOL. Hope will help someone else
If you have TWRP installed you can't unlock the bootloader. To unlock it Fastboot goes through the stock recovery (so I've heard) so without it it can't do it.

like the title says im trying to flash a different / older/ stock ROM to see if i can unlock the bootloader and or if anyone knows a way i can root my device without the bootloader that would be great too but i think ive expended all my options..... if you can help in any way that would be great! thank you
also i have flashtool downloaded but can not get it to work with my device just keeps saying my bootloader can not be officially unlocked ..... can it be unofficially unlocked?
You have to use the Xperia M2 method to unlock the bootloader as there is still no official way.
There are more than enough guides in other topics where you can read how to unlock your bootloader. First enter the service menu(*"*"service"*"*) and check is it is allowed on your device. If it says 'no' there is no way to unlock. Also if you can unlock don't forget to tick the box in developer options
For root you can afaik just install twrp for locked bootloaders and flash a root (supersu for example)

yes i have looked into the tutorials and cannot seem to make it work.
i tried the m2 method and nothing either ..... my bootloader says it cannot be unlocked but ive been reading and apparently there is a way to get around it .... ive successfully flashed different ROMS to try and gain root access too but with no luck
so i guess im asking if anyone has had luck with unclocking there "locked" bootloader on an m4 or if it is even possible at all?

i have ported a TWRP img for it but doesn't work as the bootloader is locked.
I want to have a custom recovery in it.
Is there any way to do please tell.
Have you try unlock it via fastboot?

Bro go to developer option score down there u can see OEM unlocking that's a bootloader on it ur bootloader was unlocked

please send me the twrp.img file or just tell me where to find twrp for lyf wind 6
So I've decided to flash TWRP on my SM-J110F however I need to unlock bootloader to do that.
There isn't anything on Google or any XDA forums that shows how to unlock bootloader on SM-J110F.
Please, help.
