My wear24 is still running Android Wear 2.0.0 from May. When I try to Update it says System is Up to Date. I hit the version number and it said Checking for Updates but never got an update.

Wear OS is actually a play store app (since it is essentially the launcher for your watch). To see if it is up to date, in the play store app on your watch swipe down for a green screen and tap the app icon there.

Mines update fine in the new market. I even get the notification letting me know there are new updates available

Sometimes it didn't let you, and sometimes it dies I stick with the old market cause of it

To my understanding the new market recongnizes all paid/free apps on the phone whether they be from the market, amazon app store, or side loaded. The old market only recongnized apps download from the market and know where else. The reason for not being able to update I believe is you may have a paid app from amazon app store or side loading and the the market recongnizes the app but when tying to download the update the cross payment check fails due to it not.being purchased from the market

I know what you are taking about, it will update but it takes awhile to register the app that's ready to update. Unless you have 2 apps that need updates, you won't get always the instant gratification of updating it, even though the market claims its available. Wait awhile (ie an hour) & tap the app in update, to update it.
Long story short, it's a bug.

yea kinda figured that out lol i hope a fix is released soon
Fix was pushed. I'm on 3.0.27. Install the 3.0.26 run it. Close it. Should update. If not, I can rip it from my phone in the morning.

you also got to make sure its not on the sd card
A word of caution if you use MyBackup. I use MyBackup Pro and this new market doesn't play well with it. When you try to restore apps, it says "unable to find market link" on all apps. You have to go back to the regular market to get it to work properly.

Mine is having problem accessing it from Go Launcher Ex.
It keep on saying to Restart Go Launcher Ex.

On my phone it actually installed a new icon and the old market icon quit working. Just had to remove the old icon from my homescreen and then put the new one on it. However on my prime when it updated it just replaced the market icon I had in my adw dock with the new play icon automatically.

Same here. It seems odd that the app would update, but that the icon doesn't get replaced.
Mine just updated, and now shows strange behaviour:
Home screen market shortcut updated with the play icon, but still named Market. In app menu the app is named play store, as it is supposed to be, but the strangest thing is that the shop direct button in the right app menu corner does not work anymore.
The ice cream is getting ill :-D

Hello just got this phone needed some help for some reason the app store doest not tell me if i have an app update but sometimes when i go to the app it says update any way to make the appstore tell me i mean like android where u go to my apps and shows you updates
For 1st time after buying/formatting/resetting the phone, it will behave in that manner.
Later updates for the app will be notified in appstore.

not for me my subway surrfers was out of dat 2 weeks just suddenly went to check it and it said update
I see that the Samsung Gear Live has a watch face that allows you to chose an image, but this has been omitted from the G Watch.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get this at the moment? The Play Store has nothing.

and include the " " it will bring lots more up.

I have a US version Tab S3 and it comes with a "Samsung+" app out of the box. Upon clicking that app it takes me to the Play Store and I am greeted by a message that says "Your device isn't compatible with this version".
Anyone else here experience the same thing?

No, Ive actually used Samsung+ to contact support and it worked. Perhaps try the usual troubleshooting of clearing the data for that app, and/or disabling it and re-enabling it.

Thanks for the tip. But the app isnt installed on my device. Its more of just an icon, when I click on it it brings me to the Play Store. Then it shows me that the app isnt compatible with my device and there is no option to install it.

Perhals the link is for the wrong region. Open Google Play and search for Samsung+ and see if you can install it that way.

All fixed now. Play Store showed an update to the Samsung+ app (even if it wasn't installed on my device, only had the icon as a shortcut to the Play Store). Hit update and now its working.
