I am really sorry for all the trouble. Not sure why the ZIP file seems to be corrupted. Anyway AFH upload works again. For one last time, please try this link.

Ye. Finally it worked. Thanks a ton my friend for trying it out.
Yes it is the same source with little modifications. I needed to remove all lineage related make files and replace it with aosp variations. I would create a github branch and push the sources.

Bug on Signal
It has a bug in the chip signal, falling and coming back straight .. the signal does not set.

actually, I also have this problem, I can not tried this morning, I was at work and I did not have the key to open the slot of the sim card and the chip and in my motorola X4.

Bug on Signal

No worked.. This problem persist in airplane mode too
I am working on reported problems with signal. Till then I would request other interested users to hold on flashing. I would change the title as ON HOLD.

This is plain AOSP with extended features like theme support and customizations. I understand we already have custom ROMs like Viper, crDroid and so on for our device. It is just that the build was lying in my system without much use. I thought if I publish it might be useful for someone. But it seems there are network signal drop problems, users are facing using this ROM. Unfortunately it works for me without any problem. I have two 4G sim cards. One is Jio VoLTE (SIM1) and another one is airtel 4G (SIM2). With these 2 in device, I don't see any issue with network or data. Moreover it is the same device code that is being used for LOS7. Looks like there is something different in LOS7 regarding telephony (RIL) due to which we are not facing this issue with it.
As the issue of network drop is not reproducible for me, If someone who is facing the issue, could give me a logcat of radio, it would give me some inputs.
The command is,
adb logcat -b radio > ~/signal_drop.txt

Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.

Probably yes.. You let us know.
What I've noticed is that the camera will give fc the first time.. Let it rest and it'll work nicely!

Back my friend! Dirty flashed and everything has booted just fine. WiFi works, LTE, camera loaded first time with no FC. So far so good my friend. I haven't got the timeservice error

Nice to hear that!
Another bug is when you receive a message and you unlock straight your phone (no password) and the brightness stays low as when you receive a notification with the screen off.. a work around is just to press the power button 2 times and the brightness will return as normal.
The ROM is pretty smooth but we have to fix a "couple" of things..

Dude, I'll be following this thread and future builds religiously! I know it seems a bit excessive to be excited about another build of CM13 but I've used Temaseks work for donkeys years! very nice work my friend.

Notice:
In order to install GApps, you must flash the ROM then reboot into TWRP before flashing our custom GApps package (as this switches slots). Custom GApps package can be found at https://mirror.myself5.de/taimen/GApps. We're working with the team behind MindTheGapps to fix the upstream for taimen.
Also, we know the default wallpaper on is black. We know it's caused by the RRO overlays on vendor and unfortunately we can't change the default (yet?), you can change it manually without complications though.
We know it’s complicated, but it sure is worth it!
Install Instructions:
Flash the newest factory images on both slots
Move your ROM + [GApps] + TWRP.zip to your internal storage
Boot the TWRP.img > Check what Slot you're on (Reboot Menu) ->Wipe Data & Cache -> Flash the ROM as well as the TWRP.zip
Either Reboot to system or, in case you want GApps, reboot to recovery via TWRP (Reboot -> Recovery)
Check and confirm that you are on the opposite slot from Step 3. If not, switch to it and reboot the recovery again (Reboot Menu) -> Flash GApps (and whatever else you want to flash -> Reboot to System -> Enjoy CarbonROM

I'm using it right now with no problems. Use these gapps as stated in the op https://mirror.myself5.de/taimen/GApps/ and just follow the instructions, and you should be good.
When trying to flash the image I am encountering 'updater process ended with error 1' I could not find a solution for this. Any ideas?

Make sure you use the gapps listed in the op.
magisk 16.4,razorlove gapps 0328,dolby,subt. all working fine!
If you get boot loop using razorlove gapps just force reboot and your good to go!
I also wanted point out something this rom does that no other rom does.When using dolby there is no popping at all and when you clear recents there is no clicking at all.
You can double tap anywhere on screen,not even DU rom does that!Great start guys,awesome rom!Very glad your back!

Some apps are force closing when doing some things. Gallery closes when editing an image. Snapchat closes when trying to open a story or a photo someone sent you. I reported in the jira, but if anyone has a fix, i'm all ears. (I can provide a logcat)

Confirmed. Will try to " fastboot boot twrp.IMG " and then flash latest TWRP zip in this temp recovery to put recovery back (while connected to Windows PC and in boot loader mode)

My recovery was intact sounds like a kernel issue more than a rom issue contact the kernel dev they can look into it

You need to flash 5.1.4 firmware
When you try to flash the zip it tells you which firmware is required

FBE Encryption won't work. Better backup your stuff before flashing or wait for CAF to release

Ok so I flashed the ROM everything seems okay (Decrypted and 5.1.4 firmware)
I only wished the option to force apps to use full screen aspect ratio was here (I don't even know if these commits are working on 9.0.0)
Good job for a first public build
EDIT : Also I noticed that the new gestures are not here but I guess it's because it's AOSP

As far as I know you have to activate gestures in settings.

Volte fix for mido is working in other snapdragon device too.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.
Incall volume low issue. Camera portrait issue.
The current update of May 12 is not flashing and showing error 7 in recovery.

Finally an RR thread.
Below are my observations;
1. Long press kill app button not working
2. Default keyboard has no number row
3. Camera app is so so. I think it would be much better if we could use the moto camera app
4. I hope we have more themes like in aex
But so far this is a great rom. I've been using this as a daily driver. Great work!! Thank you!

I installed the latest build over stock august rom, even after various restarts the JIO volte doesnt work(unable to make/receive calls and doesnt show in status bar).

Hey Guys! The @ZerynJR is the main dev of this project. I'm here just for support.
There's some usefull things you may need to know before installing the ROM.
- Make sure you're running the lastest firmware (12.0.3 or above)
- TWRP (mauronofrio) or LOS Recovery should work fine for installing it.
- GApps are not includded.
- I straghtly suggest you to use the grey color for Fingerprint

OK, I love your work, but this ROM Auto brightness is just not working.
You can Slide the Brightness slider all you want but nothing happens. It's stuck on high, I was able to get it to refresh to a lower setting by moving the slider to the lowest setting and going dark mode but after a few second it went back to high.
fingerprint is also absolute hit or miss. otherwise wow.
Please fix these 2 issues.
I used LOS Recovery and Formatted data and came from a fresh booted 12.0.8 and 12.0.3.

I will try to fix this as soon as possible, but for now, the brightness bug is a common problem in LOS-based ROMs.

To install the ROM, I recommend that you make a clean flash, but you can keep the internal memory.

The Los rom, Evo x, pixel, and crdroid don't have the brightness issue.

I think most of people like MIUI, so survival of this model is not a problem.
Don't be confused by the fact that you (and me, too) don't like MIUI.

Unfortunately it didn't arrive yet.
I bought it from China (AliExpress), I'm waiting it to arrive in the middle of November.
But working with a Team I can contribute even without the device. (Slowly but works)
For now, me, Oliver, Raysteff and Carlos Ayrton are working together for fixing all remaining bugs on Android Q. But since we already have a stable MIUI with Android 11 vendor we can start working on Android 11.
I dont have options to wipe system in my TWRP, I am on weekly build , do I need to go to Stock Rom?
