From 4.4.2 to lollipop?

Hello guys,
My Xperia z2 is currently running in 4.4.2 firmware.
I have got update notification ? for 4.4.4
But I am waiting for 5.0 , is it possible to directly update from 4.4.2 to lollipop through ota (without flashing ftf . )
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Free mobile app
Ok so since lollipop hasn't been released yet, I don't think anyone will me able to answer your question certain.
I would assume no. Ota updates I thought are updated system files and not a full rom. There may be a prerequisite to have some (or all) 4.4.4 system partition to be used as a base for 5.0.
I think you will have to do at least two updates. (first 4.4.4 -> phone updates and reboots -> new update notification for 5.0)

[Q] Lg G2 mini D620r stock android 4.4.2 help

Hello,
Yesterday I downloaded new update for Lg G2 mini and after update was complete I realised that update was acctually upgrade from kitkat to lolipop android version.
I don't like new design of lolipop, so I would like to ask for your help to downgrade from lolipop back to android 4.4.2 (Kitkat).
I don't want to loose warranty for my phone by doing that, so I would need stock ROM or however that's called.
I just want to go back to android 4.4.2 from current 5.0.2.
I saw some post about stock android versions to download, but links aren't working anymore.
Any kind of help would be nice
go to http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=57 choose your countrie and your g2 mini variant d620r V10 make sure you choose V10 and flash the downloaded kdz with LG flash tool http://www.mediafire.com/download/fwrcd3pdj0svjtb/LG_Flash_Tool_2014.zip
if you don't know how to flash with lg flash tool ask before doing anything
PS: take backup with lg backup

If I install it and I don't like it then can I not just reinstall the lollipop image?

I have an official lollipop upgrade rom downloaded and installed on my huafung-bungding-giggling mobile and it works great
I have now found an official marshmallow upgrade but it says
"there’s no official rollback available right now, so you’ll have to stay on Marshmallow for a while."
If I install it and I don't like it then can I not just reinstall the lollipop image?
Please be clear with your words,
Now what ROM you are using and also let me know with andriod ver.???
Originally running Android 4.4
Recently found Android 5.1 rom official upgrade
installed and working peachy
Now I have found the official Android 6.0 rom online update for my phone
My question is if I install the marshmallow rom and I don't like it. If I have the lollipop rom what is to stop me installing it back?
I'd there something that I'm not getting, that would prevent me rolling back?
Actually I'll just go for it

J7 2016 No OTA update after flashing custom rom and foot

Hello guys. Sorry for my English. It's not my native language.
I flashed TWRP with Odin for my phone Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J710FN. After that I flashed custom ROM with TWRP and SuperSU. Anyway after that I decided I dont need this ROM and root anymore. I was with the last stock firmware and android 7.0 before this. I decided to install my stock firmware and remove the custom ROM and root and I installed android 6.0.1 which was my first firmware. But now when I go to settings and click software -> update, it says I am using the last software for my device J710FXXU2APK6 and I can't get the 7.0 update which was my software before. I can't get the OTA update. Also I don't know why is it J710FX. My model is J710FN. I know I can flash the last stock firmware with Odin. But I want to receive OTA update. Did I flashed different 6.0.1 firmware. Also my country is Bulgaria and how to find the right pit? Did I killed my OTA updates ? Please help me!
