Everything stock? Just fixes the bugs?
@Dankie001 hotspot issue is completely fixed? I mean not showing error anymore?
& what's the right method of flashing the kernel. I mean i don't want a bootloop.

Yea, hotspot completely fixed. Just flash the zip from recovery, just like you flash a ROM or Magisk or Gapps.
In the future, I'm planning builds compiled using Linaro GCC and performance-improving build flags and added features like more network algorithms, more governors and WireGuard support. I'm planning to start tomorrow.

I flashed & wiped cache & dalvik. Live display is not fixed. I couldn't check hotspot although.
I've already flashed two times. But the same result.

Main fix was hotspot, live display is still dependent on ROM.
Where is the download link and will you release new build also
Good Job Guys....But I Have A Kind Request To The Developer Of This Kernel......Can You Make A Kernel For TW MM 6.0.1 Of G7102....To Fix Camera,Bluetooth,720p Video Lag,And Other Bugs...If You Do This Then This Will Be A Great Chance To Take Our G7102 To A New Position...Hope You Will Understand My Request...Look For Electron Rom Kernel. Hey, why you want touchwiz marshmallow rom. I mean they are not as fast as stock Roms like lineageOS, AOSP roms etc. & the Aosp marshmallow roms are completely bug free. So you should try these roms. Touchwiz is very heavy. It makes phone slow & lag very much. & all AOSP nougat roms for grand 2 are also almost bug free. Try lineageOS or DotOS.

Lemme tell you something ironic. The name of my kernel is the exact same thing you were sitting on when Sound was doing the whole TW MM project(Sarcasm beyond your understanding my good son) and then you just show up, Suck it off and boom. "My ROM"
And what in the blue 'F'ing hell makes you think someone will be donkey enough to work off a Kernel for a project you didn't invest a dime in? Just for you to OP another Electro shet V3 huh?
If I gotta do a TW MM port I'll do it myself. I have my comrades to support me so I ain't putting up with scum like you. And I'm sorry if I sound angry cuz I loose my temper around scum quickly :/

TW-MM is irrelevant and legacy now IMO(Depends on your opinion)
Remember you took nik60 ROM and baptised it ElectroROM. You beg nearly everyone to bring you a kernel. Thats not how ROMS are ported/made sir..
I worked in TW-MM from the ground up alone and brought the best possible TWMM to the table for S3 Neo. If development was still strong like back them, talented developers like Dyneteve(Sound001) could have taken my monstrocity of a kernel to fix voltage(Grand 2) and camera bugs with OC features blablabla and most important, upstreaming.
Noone stops you on working in a kernel by yourself though. Also, Grand 2 is enough old, get a new device and port any ROM you want like my WIP Mi Max 2(7.1.2) port on mido(Redmi Note 4).

I was testing the f2fs too, although i didnt feel any immediate boost in performance or responsiveness from the phone, granted its pretty fast already, i experienced a rather annoying "bug". Whenever I put more than 3 fingers on the screen, ie when writing, a weird thing happened. All of a sudden, a lot of random spots on the screen would be pressed, like on a keyboard it would just start typing whatever....

Sry for being offtopic but that is not an f2fs problem could be hardware or a driver problem.

Yeah the rom might have not been fully compatible with f2fs, but then again, on the guide, it said that it was, so im not sure. The problem didnt persist on ext4.
Sweet. New stuff! I'm loving MultiRom so I can try everything. I loved Vanir last time I used it.
So correct me if I'm wrong here but did you just change the zip name and add custom kernel? Idk sounds shady to me, maybe you have permission?

I apologize for being blunt, but there are few things that are a few...discrepancies that need to addressed...
I'll start with the innocent one: gapps. Unless it's a OEM based ROM (i.e Sense, Touchwiz, Blur, Optimus), you're not allowed to have gapps in the package. I don't think there's any exception to this rule for a non-OEM based ROM
Next, forgive me if I accuse you wrongly, but this looks a lot like Vanir from the files...so much so that it seems like it's like Vanir with a custom kernel and a renamed zip. Again, I apologize if i am out of place with this comment, but like @rchead420, I have my concerns. I know it shows a code compilation, but i looked a tiny bit closer and the product was mako, not bacon, so it isn't indicative if this is your own work. Just seems like a Vanir modded zip with AK kernel, custom mp3 ringtones, gapps (not allowed), and UKM
Well he did state that it was built from vanir source. Vanir is opensource so I don't think he needs explicit consent from the Dev as long as he gives proper credit. As to the gapps concern, who cares??? Google won't lift a finger if some indie ROM chef preinstalls gapps in his rom. However, I prefer ROM without gapps as it reduces the download size and I get to choose my favorite gapps pack
EDIT: wtf Tapatalk did to ma post lol

Yes Google would. That's the whole reason we have to install gapps separately. They forced CM to stop loooong ago, which is why nobody does it with AOSP ROMs. Also, technically, XDA should remove it, as Google can come after them for allowing it to be distributed.
And zero idea why your Tapatalk spaced out lol.

Cm is a big organization with millions of users. This here will have at most a few hundreds. I do agree with leaving out gapps for convenience though

My friend, belive me the whole benchmark is a big lie anyone can do couple of tricks to get higher score, even Samsung did it, they did couple of software tricks to get higher score.
What is real is what those devs are doing, their hard work, their efforts.... Etc and the only way you can test and feel that is by flashing those Roms.
I tried many Roms and some of them had a lower score than the others but they where faster.
So do a backup and flash this b***h
Good luck...

How is this ROM running for everyone? Any t-mobile people running this one?
Very nice ROM, smooth. I always have random reboot after moving to KitKat (tried many many ROM and kernel) and now 0 reboot after 12h. If the random reboots disappear u saved my life. Thanks

@fedef12evo: nope, works fine for me!
I have another issue with the ROM since I updated to the November 10th version:
The WIFI is turned off when the screen is of for some time.
I don't have energy saving settings turned on and WIFI is set to always stay turned on.
Still everytime I unlock my phone after like 20 minutes the WIFI reconnects. This didn't happen before.
Any way to fix it?

Really excited for this! Biggest thing I'm looking for is increasing internal storage with my SD, so hopefully that can be achieved.

Thank you for all the work on this.. Greatest rom ever..
Was on an n7100 (note 3), perfectly satisfied.. Unfortunately shattered the screen to the unusable extent.. So happy you're working on developing RR for this device, otherwise it could (not joking) not/never compare to my old phone..
Luckily i can use my work device for calls, so I'm typing from the G955F on RR..
I'll definitely donate as soon as the microphone receives fix, because it's so well deserved for a suite that enriches the phone experience so greatly.
I have not encountered any other bugs apart from the ones listed..
Tried flashing kernels (batstock, stock, another stock, pekaka, notorious, tgp), none get me to boot (could be my fails), and did so because the rom kernel only allows interactive and userspace. If anyone has succeeded flashing a kernel, kindly requesting direction.
One again thanks, and I'll keep testing along the lifecycle of the rom,
Dennis

samsung s6 ota stock rom?? i might be missing something here but samsung stock rom always means touchwiz...so are u asking if resurrection remix is a full port of a two years older device? based on touchwiz ...and with tweaked buildprop? what kinda tweaks u would like to have on your build prop? lol... it was already been told for years, that these "tweaks" u might be able to add to the build prop, doesnt really have any noticable effect....but comming back to the tw question...RR is based on aosp (or maybe los, dunno right now)
so in case i m not missing anything here, i can tell u ; NO! its not the s6 ota stock rom ported to s8 & s8+ lol

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and LineageOS with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".

Nothing with the date. It is just a build date.

Yes sir. Your date format makes sense but is also confusing. We typically see the month number proceed the day number but that's not important. Hope this rom kicks ass. Wouldn't flash for me though.

Haha, depends on locale. In the US it's month/day. Around Europe and some other parts day/month is the norm.
It can get confusing sometimes.

I'm going to respectfully bow out of this one because you could never say that to my face. The rom just kept giving me error 7 in twrp. No worries. Best of luck to you.

Why do you speak down to people who are having an issue installing your rom? I was going to give it a shot but after your defense against date confusion and then attack a members IQ because of issues with installing states alot about yours. Who needs it
@treyweez11, I also get error 7. Probably just doesn't like our TWRP or something. That happens. I removed the assert lines in the updater script and it flashed okay. Testing ROM now.
@ruturajjena, that child-like reaction of yours is unacceptable. You could've matched respect with respect but chose the low road. For something so minor. He didn't say anything about you nor the ROM (other than error 7. Never heard of it before?).
How are you going to handle all the questions, requests, complaints, incomplete bug reports, or posts that seem to question your skills because something doesn't work for them.
Battery sucks. Your fault.
Laggy. Your fault.
Poor signal. Your fault.
Usw.
I hope you don't plan to handle those with insults.
On to business. XenonHD has always been a cool ROM. One of my faves during the LP and MM days. Kind of skipped N.
I see that it is LOS-based this time around. It's not weighted down with a ton of features or customization which might please some folks.
VoLTE is there. Nova is default launcher. Nice.
The Browser Installer is the coolest thing. Haven't seen that on any ROMs I've used so far. There are times when I just don't like what comes with a ROM. This tool should be the norm.
Have to wait 'til later to give it a full workout with gapps and root. BTW, it seems to have LineageSU but for ADB only.

Some people will never look after the hard work you do. They will never appreciate it and will always try to troll you for little mistakes and bugs. It's better to stay away from development.
This is a lightly customized variant of Resurrection Remix for the Moto G5S Plus (sanders). I aim to build at least once a month, ideally soon after each monthly security update is merged into the RR tree.
On top of the official version of Resurrection Remix for sanders (which is already great!), there's a handful of tweaks I've made:
Lightly-customized kernel based on RR stock
Power-efficient workqueues
NVIDIA's "relaxed" power-optimized functions
Bringup to 3.18.124
TurboPower charger support
ARCore smart selection model files
Slightly improved APK read performance
GSS garbage collection for ART
Zopfli-compressed APKs conserve space on system partition without incurring additional performance overhead
Enabled use of SIMD instructions (armv8 NEON) in aac/amrwb/h264 codecs
Tweaked some OpenGL ES wrapper methods from regular JNI to fast JNI, which should reduce JNI overhead
ScrollView tweaked for responsiveness
JNI, DisplayService, Vulkan, and OpenGL built with -O3 (yes, this may or may not be a gimmick - figured it was worth a shot)
ROM DownloadPatcher Download (all tweaks used on top of official RR)
Instructions
If coming from a ROM other than Resurrection Remix, you should factory reset before flashing this ROM. Otherwise, you are advised to wipe system, cache, and Dalvik cache partitions before continuing, although a dirty flash without any wiping will probably work too.
If you're coming from official Resurrection Remix, you should probably be able to dirty flash from the latest official version at all times.
After flashing, flash Gapps/Magisk other mods that you want to use; this ROM does not include any of those things.
FAQ
Does this ROM support VOLTE?
If the official release has it, this should too; I did not (and don't know how to) make any changes regarding VOLTE. It did disappear for a short while at the end of the 6.0.0 versions, for some reason, but it seems that it's been added back. Of course, VOLTE support is dependent on your network connectivity/regional availability and your carrier.
Does this ROM support WiFi calling?
Yes. Check in the dialer settings. Again, this feature is dependent on your carrier. Not all carriers that claim to support WiFi calling on your device may work with this ROM.
Does this ROM have GApps? Magisk?
No and no. Flash them yourself if you want to use them.
Yes, this post is kind of ugly. I might make it better later, but everything you need to know is more or less here.

No worries! My wording is complicated there and I should probably fix it. No, this is not somehow modified from the actual .zip that Resurrection Remix officially distributes. This is built from the Resurrection Remix sources. "From scratch", if you will. This is also not based anyhow off of the official stock Oreo ROM from Motorola (as suggested by the thread that you linked).

Please do. I'm curious if the battery is good, is the ROM stable, and hows the overall experience compared to other ROMs or even the official latest rr.
People seem to want screenshots for some reason. Here's a bunch. Customizations mostly.

Battery us good. The ROM is stable and buttery smooth.
There are many customizations which are not present in the official RR.
With the integration of Alice kernel things have become too much good.

Nothing to worry about. Just a notification that SELinux is permissive. This is part of the new Trust interface that LineageOS has implemented (which has trickled through to RR).
I like this ROM a lot, but I've got a few issues. I have to use Universal Safetynet Fix to pass SafetyNet, otherwise I get a CTS Profile Mismatch error. With USF flashed though, I get a vendor mismatch error on startup (which I can just dismiss). Additionally, on every boot I am asked to select my launcher even if I have saved it.
Possibly better EIS performance? Yes and no xD
Long time ago, some users flash a Magisk Module for MI A1. The module add enable EIS and tweak a little with other lines. Im only take persist line to enable EIS and share a zip to the Sanders Telegram group. Its a parcial solution, tested on 720p/1080p but on 4K not get working. Good work bro and like more that type of thread, no ugly, "minimal" style
