Hey guys.
I recently purchased a Sony XAV-701BT headunit which has Mirrorlink. I own an Xperia P (which I love!) and of course at this stage there is no mirrorlink compatibility.
I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2210867 on here and went through the process, unlocking bootloader, rooting phone and then installed the zip as per instructions. I watched the necessary tutorials etc and read what was needed. I'm NOT a phone guru in any way but I do understand things and read/watch what is necessary. any way my phone now has a mirror link function under XPERIA in the menu but when I try to connect it the unit just says please reattach mirrorlink compatible device and doesn't do anything. The phone brings up the "Install pc companion?" box. My ONLY reason to root my phone and do all this is to get mirrorlink to work.
The phone is a XPERIA P LT22i
Running jellybean V4.1.2
Build Number 6.2.A.0.400
Kernel Version: 3.0.75-ThP_ICS_kernel_v10.2
The only thing I noticed is the developer stated that this will work on all ICS Xperias. Do I need to downgrade to ICS? Even with mirrorlink showing as available on the phone? Or can anyone suggest an alternative option to get it working. Would flashing it with the ripped Xperia Z V4.2.2 android leak work?

Hey guys(because only boys are tech-experts ), I need your help!
I have ST21i2(Sony Xperia Tipo Dual), and firmware version of 11.0.A.6.8. Before I updated this device, all was working right, Camera was awesome. But now after update, Camera has gone all weird, headset is not getting recognized. When I restart my phone with headset connected, it is getting recognized. Then when I remove the headset, the internal speakers doesn't work. Then, when I restart this mobile, then everything works fine... I need your help, I know this is surely software fault, some of my friends also said about these problem. Please suggest me, which firmware should I use to get the best result, THANKS!
P.S.: I tried Global Generic firmware(11.0.A.1.12) and original firmware(11.0.A.6.8 - Indian Version)[Because I'm Indian] but nothing works!!

its recommended to show ur phone at the nearest service centere!! it might also be the problem with the hardware sometimes!!... the service centre ppl will hopefully give u the best solution or they'll re dump the software into ur device

My warranty period is over, so all I need is just a ttf file for 11.0.A.1.8 .. I have a zip file of that, but my phone doesn't open in recovery MODE
Anyone please give me build.prop of sony xperia tipo dual st21i2.i unfortunately erased that file on my device.i want to restore it back through cwm aroma file manager.i am on sony stock android with rooted.
Hi, people. I'm new here and english is not my mother tongue so sorry any mistake I'm doing on forum or in english.
So, I tried to unlock my Xperia L C2105 bootloader and everything was doing fine until I tried to turn it on and it just freezes on bootloading.
I've tried to run it on flash mode and use Emma and Sony Mobile Flasher to fix it but apparently my computer doesn't seems to recognize it. I mean, it's listed on Device Manager but it's not listed on the tools I've use to recover it. I just don't know anymore, really confused here. How will I recover my device?

ive just Unlock my F3212 Bootloader, now Image Enhancement Option doesn't work for me. wich is lovely Option
after some search in google, i find out some DRM Fix for Xperia model can bring that Functions back, but most of them are for Z series!

I have an A8 plus 2018 Live Demo Unit
(A730X)
In an attempt to permanently remove the retail mode, I did not back up before .... I tried to install another firmware of a normal device (A730F) but without success, the device is only in the Samsung logo ...
I already tried using combination firmware and it also did not work ....
I can enter download mode
TWRP is currently installed
The notebook that I use at the moment does not allow the installation of Samsung kies nor the Smart Switch, but drives well installed ....
I have another Live Demo Unit to copy the rom, if possible ...
Or if there is another method that can save the device .... I am looking for the A8 firmware plus demo but it seems it does not exist ...
Who can help at least in the configuration of a rom or any help already thank ...
