Im willing to pay through PayPal. I have a jp 5 s tablet from a prison it can receive bluetooth but installation of apps from unknown sources is blocked. In settings the check box to allow this has been disabled. It runs 4.2.2 Jellybean so my only hope is an image music file or video that could some how run a script to allow it or install a file manager. That's my ultimate goal. Thanks for any help.

Hey all XDA users.
I hope you can help me out!
I am starting to develop my own custyom roms. I am a noob on this, but day by day, I get more aquainted with the Android system.
I found a new challenge. I got myself a TizzBird F10 "Smart TV box". It is an Android media player with no space for a harddrive.
TizzBird Web Site
OTA Update ZIP file (unpack and rename to zip or gz
It has only 4 USB host slots, a SD card slot, 10/100 wired nic. I succesfully connected my Wireless N adapter from my popcorn hour.
The android system is 2.3.3 (for now) but it is upgradeable to 2.3.5 using OTA firmware.
My first goal is to try to get root access.
The thing does not have an USB slave connection, so i can't get ADB access. Is there any way to get root access another way? Maybe through ADB over TCP?
Or before I try to brick my device... is it possible to modify the OTA update? I downloaded the 2.3.5 OTA update from their website, and I can see the android structure within the ROM using winrar or 7zip.
Maybe it is possible to zergRush the system from within? Have SuperUser added to the OTA? Busybox etc.
Sure, I can just "copy" those APKs and tools into the .gz file, but would it help when I flash that modified file?
My ultimate goal is to get my google account working so I can get access to Google Music, since the device has not been licensed to use the Android market...
Thanks in advance or ideas you may have.
Update:
For now I have installed the following.
Android Market
GMail
Google Services Framework
Google Music
All works well, exept for acually playing the google music. It loads the albums, but hangs at pressing "play".
I use poweramp as my musicplayer,it's the best there is, on my F30,
Could I ask where you bought it ?
Did you just use an adapter converter for north american power plugs ?
I found this link to buy it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Valueplus-T...ultDomain_0&hash=item3a706e8b4b#ht_8980wt_905
But it is clearly written;
All of our products are customized for Korean electric environment.
In Korea, we use 220 Voltage and Type C plug.
Some products has a adapter and in that case, they support Free Voltage and Type C plug.
Please pay attention to this point.
I'm in Canada.
Thanks.
I'm interested in the OS of the TizzBird.
The one on the F30 and the new N1 stick.
It's a beautiful UI/UX which would go great on Tablets, especially when connected to a large TV.
If you can provide the Launcher and other Apps from it, would sweet.
Here's a demo:

Did you get root access?
May I ask you how to do it?
Or can you give me some links to get a better unterstanding of how to modify the original firmware to my own needs?
Here is some dude that made custom firmware for the F10 and F20 (=F30 without the hard disk)

i have a "retail" kodi box with a custom kodi apk that has alot of changes done to the built in python , inside the apk.
it allows auto updates to the build, secure wizard, faster playback and ssl playback. my iptv service requires this to run and im desperate to reverse engineer it.. so it can boot up on any android box and not just their's
i took a fresh kodi apk, replaced the lib/armeabi-v7a with there armeabi-v7a folder and got the ssl playback to work but when sticking the apk on other boxes. it wont boot up.
can anyone help me?
i look into the libkodi.so file since replacing it stops the playback. i found the auto update and wizard code in the file... but thats not what im looking for.
willing to pay up to $100 to anyone that can get this to boot on my other boxes..
i just learned what armeabi is. sorry for calling it python
Any chance someone can mod the apk to fit the resolution on an amazon firetv? You can load the apk up but the guide needs to be scrolled across. Maybe someone in BC or Alberta can take a shot at this.

Telus updated the PIK TV app again, are you able to upload the latest version?
The latest version is a complete rewrite of the app, with greater improvement around the DRM methods, which is proving difficult to bypass to enable playback support on older / non-certified AndroidTV boxes.
That said, however, I've managed to update the older version of the app for now to bypass the "force update" version check and it appears to be working again

I'm getting a parsing error when installing. Might sound like a noob question, but perhaps it's corrupt or my installation on the firestick requires something more than unknown sources and ADP. Thanks
I have an Android music player that’s wanting to update the firmware. It’s an Astell and Kern SP1000 running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, API 23, build MMB29T.
There is no disable updates in the settings. The update is for the players firmware. I don’t believe it’s updating the whole Android OS. I could be wrong.
After firmware 1.16 I am no longer able to install apps Astell and Kern haven’t authorized. So I wouldn’t be able to install a file explorer or other streaming apps I persanly like using. If I knew they were planing on controlling the app so much I’d still be useing a phone with a DAC.
I currently have root by using the King root. I’m able to edit system files. I edited the host file blocking the update server. Yet the player has already downloaded an update and I can’t locate the file to delete it.
I’m constantly receiving the update notice about 10 times a day. The notification isn’t a normal notification. It’s a full screen overlay.
1. I would like to disable updates by altering some system file.
2. Also disable the notification.
3. Locate the FW file and delete it.
Thank you for the help.
Dears,
i've successfully managed to modify with Android Studio library "libtool-checker.so" that is currently used by my Bank App to detect root on devices.
If root is detected , app will not start.
This library is an open source project well known as RootBeer and i'm a little worried about my Bank is using an opensource project (without any mod) to ensure my safety and security
The question is:
My device is on Lollipop 5.0.1 Arm7 processor. Bank App data are stored into:
1 - /data/app/com.bank/base.apk
2- /data/app/com.bank/lib/libtool-checker.so
i'm manually overwriting file 2 with my version and everything works fine.
However after each device reboot, lib file is restored with the original version (extracted from base.apk). I cannot modify lib inside base.apk file because if i change APK signature the app will be installed but will not run (server side check i suppose).
How i can permanently fix this issue?
Thank you very much for your answer.
FransisFor.
