my phone is RNE-L21C185 i'm use firmware finder and update the oreo update of RNE-L22C636 and after it finish it restart and setup successfully to 100% and then restart into huawei Erecovery and i factory reset and every time i turn on the phone it open huawei Erecovery . i ask for solution ?? and i think i need rollback package but i search and didn't found
Same here
Tried the factory reset, "download latest version and recovery", nothing helped
try letting it reboot a whole bunch of times and the factory reset option should appear in recovery
try flashing stock recovery_ramdisk if it doesn't

That would require the bootloader to be unlocked right?
I'm not finding a solution, i'm considering sending my unit to warranty
Ok
I can answer your concern ... but if you breathe and relax before writing ... I do not fully understand what you have done ...
But you gave me to understand that without making a Rebrand in your RNE-L21C185 to the RNE-L22C636 version try to install the OREO version of this last ... L22? this is true.

Well, in no way can you install a firmware version from one region to another without doing the Rebrand, that's why your device is in erecovery mode ... because the OEIMFO of the RNE-L21C185 is not compatible with the RNE-L22636 firmware ... if you want to install you should first do a rebrand ... otherwise you can not do anything.

you need to open it in huawei updateextractor and flash it one by one. boot, cache, cust, recovery, and system.

Hi did you fixed it somehow ? I am facing the same issue, but with firmware B187 (single sim), bad for me that you cannot find this FW, it is custom FW for my Slovakian operator. Now it is ruined and I cannot use the phone because it is restarting all the time. Flashing B100 or B370 did not help at all, in that case phone will not boot at all and keeps restarting over and over. I contacted directly Huawei and my operator, somehow I need original B187 FW to fix it, if not phone will go to claim as I am business customer.

You can use Multi-Tool to debrand it, and flash whichever firmware you wish.
I claimed Honor and got new unit with dualsim I don' t need anything to fix anymore. So no such thing like warranty break with bootloader unlocked. Repair center in protocol stated just, warranty OK unit switch.
Awesome, they gave you a new device.
frankly speaking, I didn't expect new phone after 2 weeks...

No I have experience, Huawei provides good service if your problem is legit.
Someone else was making it but wouldn't release it, so I made one myself.
This will not work with internal storage if it's encrypted, but otherwise should be good enough to do things like rebranding/changing oeminfo and so on.
For P10:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6ox6M5Lb2JYZklQSnZZbHA0ZUk
Note that this is a one-off release that I don't plan to maintain.
i have a huawei p10 demo.

TWRP alone is not enough to rebrand. You need a way to flash the firmware from the new region. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to debrand on XDA, as it involves paid services and would be against the rules. You'll have to figure out for yourself.

You are installing custom Recovery and unlock your bootloader.. is there any custom rom out yet?
Hi.
The last couple days, I unlocked my bootloader to install the phh-treble rom and experiment with this phone but the *unlocked bootloader* message every time that I power up my phone, is very annoying.
So I ask if anyone knows which firmware to install to my phone so I can lock the bl and receive otas as normal
Thanks

It's just a guess, but i think that you should flash an original "system. img" with fastboot and then reset you device.
You can use Huawei Unpacker to get your system.img from a FullOTA firmware (you can download it with Firmware Finder).

When you go to recovery now, is it Huawei recovery or some aosp recovery?
If Huawei you should be able to use that same guide to go back to stock. You just need to download the Firmware your phone came with (Ex. L29 C432), then update using the guide. Or you could rebrand and install fw.

It is the Huawei recovery but the weird thing is that it flashes another recovery and kernel before at the fastboot mode.
Anyhow, I just wonder, if I go back to the 127 (following the method above) which is verified thru IMEI, will I be able to get OTAs?
Or
Which is the correct method of restoring the full stock rom in order to have OTAs and lock the BL

Yes, you will get OTA.
If you install a full firmware everything will be replaced (though you can keep bootloader unlocked, but you're asked when you run repack so select yes ("Lock bootloader?").
The "correct" ways would be: HWOTA8, Dload (if available for your firmware), FunkyHuawei (paid).

It shouldn't. And it works again with root. Apparently something broke in SEPolicy, but mankindtw fixed it in his pre-rooted ramdisk. Though, we can install Magisk "normally" now (as a package through recovery) so it shouldn't be a problem anyway SuperSU should install in a similar way too, if one would take the time to make it. I prefer Magisk though
So I was on honor 9 stf-l09c432b182 with openkirins twrp and had sideloaded Supersu and everything was working fine.
My plan was to uninstall root, flash stock recovery and upgrade to B183.
So I uninstalled supersu, flashed the recovery.img and recovery2.img in fastboot.
Then I tried to install B183 with the system updater of emui. Failed in the middle of the process.
So then I tried to manually flash system.img, cust.img, recovery.img, recovery2.img, boot.img(basically everything that doesn't give the error: remote command not allowed)
from B183 and when I rebooted i had a really weird version number( similar to this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/help/strange-version-t3699280).
Now heres the part where I probably bricked some stuff: I was really concerned and tried to flash my old B180 firmware and then my device is stuck at the screen: Your device can't be trusted...
Your device is booting now.
I tried to relock and unlock the bootloader, but does not work.
Tried: fastboot oem lock, fastboot oem relock, fastboot flashing lock
Now current status:
I can boot into bootloader via volume down+ plug in.
Oem and frp are unlocked.
I can hold down volume up and go into erecovery but trying to install something from there didn't work.
I can charge my phone.
Something similar happened to this guy here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/help/stuck-device-booting-t3650016 but he was lucky to find someone who repaired it for him.
I would thank you all soo much if you could help me, or just give me a tip what I can do.
Thanks for all replies
You should try to full restore to service repair stock working firmware with sdcard :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/firmware-huawei-honor-9-stf-l09-stock-t3696892
Alternatively, you could try to downgrade to stock firmware without rebrandind (no sdcard needed) :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/how-to/guide-honor-9-t3653719
I think that Rebrand method is the best way for this situation.
Dload with B130 dont help , its happen to me.
If boot after Rebrand method , let it restart several times.
Erecovery will appear then made wipe data/ factory reset.
If dont work again , Erecovery , wipe cache partition.
We can not rollback and upgrade as we want with Huawei..
All done step by step . But work for B120.

These B120 are unaproved, so to install them you need a no-check recovery.

Use this guide to extract RAMDISK from your firmwares update.zip and flash using fastboot.

Try Firmware Finder for Huawei, but it only in app recognizes the exact model example : My Phone RNE-L03 but for the correct firmware it adds an C178, if you have your exact model download the 3 files indicated in FFH
Good Luck!
Update : I now read the rest of the quote...i don't know what is the problem exactly, but FFH works fine for forced OTA updates and firmwares provider for me
problem
I have this problem too. I cant fix it
