Hello,
I have samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 international. Its unrooted device running on official 5.0 lolipop. Recently i try to root while i install CWM RECOVERY thrughodin and next when i am trying to install superSU zip the sevice not installing SU. Simply sevice restarting as well getting error on au app, ''there is no su binary so super su not installed please re root manually". Please help me out here to root
Use TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/hlte/twrp-3.0.2-1-hlte.img.tar.html) recovery and the most recent SuperSU zip (http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu-stable) . Should work fine after that.
i had rooted my device and installed ZCX TWRP recovery successfully few months back, i got MIUI OTA update and and flashed the full ROM as you have suggested and after then root access was working fine. But last week i received another MIUI 8.2 OTA update and i updated the OTA via updater app successfully and my root access was working fine, but when i once rebooted the device after the update i lost the root access, when i opened the Supersu app i got the msg "su binary cannot be found and it cannot be installed you have to re-root your device" i again flashed the inbuilt Supersu from ZCX TWRP but didn't get the root access, then I flashed the su binary zip but still didn't get the root access, i flashed latest su 2.79 but still didn't work. But surprisingly my xposed framework is working. But root is not working. Please help me!
Hi Mates,
First of all sorry for my poor english, i am using Redmi Note 4 (Indian Qualcomm Sanpdragon version Version) running android version 6, i have successfully unlocked bootloader, rooted and installed TWRP in my phone, when i check the root status in root checker app it says SUCCESSFULLY ROOTED, after that i have installed Hide My Root app to hide my Su binary, there it throws a error message "cannot find su binary", this process i have tried when i was in stock ROM and now i am in linage rom 13 here with this custom rom also i am getting the same error message, i have installed un installed and again installed super su app somany times still i use to get same error eventhough i have flashed the latest super su zip and latest super su app.
I am very poor in this kind of techie works, i hope you masters people will post some solution for this error.
