Market enabler
Try this: http://leedroid.com/file_download/82/Market_Access.zip
where to download it ?
Edit : i found it in the market .. there are like 3 of them . which author ?
Do you try to install the apps from a website? I read somewhere else it can give this problem.. The solution for these people was to download the apps from the market via their phone.
Hope this helps.

i have downloaded it . installed it .. it gave me number .. what next ? sorry this is my first android phone :/
Jacoli . i try to buy them from the market itself
Don't know never had to use it myself. Guess the number is your carrier. Might be important so I would write is down somewhere. Then emulate some US or European carrier and try again. All at own risk.

Apps missing from certain locations :
We're aware of reports that applications are missing from some locales. We are presently investigating this issue. However, please note that we can't guarantee app distribution in locations where we haven't officially launched Android Market.
Hi all, is there a way to stop an app requesting an update and continue with the current one installed?
Basically I have an app, today when I tried to open it, it told me it can't open and that I must upgrade to the latest version to open, but I don't want to do that.
Is there a way to mod the app/apk to allow current use going forward?
Lucky pathcher or anything like that.
All I am looking for is to continue with using the app build I currently have, without updating, and still have the app/apk work.

I think that's not what he meant. OP, mean you can't use the app anymore without a mandatory update right? Would like to know if that's possible too..
In titanium backup you can 'unlink' the app from the market.....
I've never used the function, but it *sounds* like it's what you're after....
Edit.......
Read this article......

you could try to disable its internet permission, using some apps or some custom rom that has this feature (custom Jellybean 4.2.2 AOSP, ecc...): it will not be able to communicate externally.
Other way is: editing smali code in the app itself, however you should know how to unpack it (apk multitool) and searching for the string that says "update your version to continue" and know a bit of code editing. I succeeded myself in doing some small changes to apps this way but it takes time and it might be not worth it.

You will have to try a very infamous workaround. There is an app on the MIUI Google Play Store. I forgot what's it called. But get it and it will download all the apps.

Dude read two posts above you..
On the Phone:
Whatever the ROM, root it.
UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER
Install TWRP
On the PC:
go to Need (dot) rom
download the CWM
From your TWRP or through your device, FLASH CWM
Put the ROM on the SD card and flash it through CWM.
Hope that helps.
Success!!!…But random MAC assign to WIFI.
Please any one can help...

Hi @X0LARIUM ..
First, i want to thank you for the info..
i wanna play Brown Farm (LINE) and the minimum requirement was 4.4..
after a long search & efforts..This is the only available i could find..all thanks to you..
i have spent so many hours just to instal and finally it works!!!
very smooth, clean and light!! No bloatwares & unimportant apps..
Unfortunately, there is no Google Apps (Play Store especially)
i did google search and found the latest APK..
but everytime i download, it stucks on 44%..
i have no idea why but the problem persists either i use PC to download, or from my K900 directly, i tried also from several sites..
Do you have any idea how to install Play Store?
the phone became useless without it.
Thank you very much!!!

You are most welcome my friend. This is what this community is for, to help each other out wherever they can. Anyways, yes. To get Play Store to work is pretty much a cakewalk. And you have multiple ways to get it work thankfully.
The most easiest and simplest way to get to PlayStore to work is to get Open Gapps 4.4. - http://opengapps.org - We are X86, 4.4. and you can choose your variation.
Secondly, if you don't get this to work, there is a 2mb file on an MIUI forum which basically downloads all the .apk from Google - Google PlayStore etc. - http://xiaomininja.com/download/google-app-installer-file-download/
IF for some reason, this also doesn't work, then just ping me. I will send you the file I had installed.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Hello my friend..
Looks like i have to trouble you again..
i just noticed that my Wifi's MAC Address keep changing on every restart..
not sure on every restart -or- on everytime i turned on my wifi..
This is not a bad thing because i regularly use an app called "Pry-Fi (Root)" to create a random MAC whenever i was in Public Area..
But, in my work enviroment (building), i need a static/permanent MAC since i did address reservation already on our Mikrotik along with all the Wireless Routers/Hotspots in our building to help me control our WAN more easy.
i have search the forum and found this:
1. here
There's a fix called wifi_mac_fix.zip
But they said it's for Xperia..
2. Here
This one was under Amazon -> Kindle Fire subforum..
Is it possible to set a permanent MAC address for our K900? the original factory one would be great
i did search the whole setting inside (Security, Privacy & Developer Options) and also the installed apps trying to find something to remove..
Thank you very much before

To be very honest, I am not an engineer or a hardware/networking guy. Nor do I care about my MAC address changing.
However, I did a little search and this is what I found for you:
http://thetechrism.com/how-to-find-change-mac-address-in-android/
It requires root, which I am sure you have.
Also, from what I am reading, I don't think a MAC address can change. It is linked to the hardware chip. It is your IP address that is changing, as per the quora question here:
https://www.quora.com/My-Android-ph...ry-reboot-Are-there-any-suggestions-to-fix-it
Again, I am no judge of this, but hope this helps.
And you are always welcome bro.
@X0LARIUM
MAC Address can't be change permanently without hardware modification of course..
but the application with root permission can change the MAC temporarily..
There are many MAC Spoofer/Changer in Play Store
usually it randomizes the MAC and back to normal after restart or turning off the Wifi.
Our CM-11 KitKat rom somehow changes the MAC every time we turn on the Wifi,
if we turn it off and on again, it will generate a new random address..
i have problem registering on that Russian forum haha..thought that i could ask there..
But no problem at all, this is not very important.
The good thing is, we finally have KitKat on K900
Thank you very much Bro..
i will give it a try

dont change your mac-address its a bad idea.
with some research i may have found a way to actually have whatsapp on two devices(dont have 2 devices so cant test it)
Heres the deal:
Install xposed framework on your device, if youre willing to change your macaddress you should be able to do this as well.
after that get Xprivacy working.
make a full backup with titaniumbackup from whatsapp and tranfers/install it on your second device.
get your IMEI and MAC from your first device (where whatsapp is working)
open up xprivacy and spoof the IMEI and MAC that you got from the step above.
now open up whatsapp for the first time, it shoudnt ask to reactivate or anything.
if it doesnt work try spoofing other stuff, im typing this without any tests but if it worked heres my paypal: paypal.me/Ruthger.
good luck hit me up if you need help
(if anything goes wrong im not to blame, be sure to have stock firmware at hand if the xposed framework bootloops your device!)

No, it doesn't:
If you get the version with Chinese firmware, you have to load up the Google Play Store yourself. Some sellers will do it for you, but, it's not natively installed, meaning, a factory reset will require you to reload it again.
There are reports of the version selling in India having the Google Play Store on board, just like any other phone you'd buy outside of China. These models/versions should still have the Google Play Store on board after a factory reset.
So, there ya go, that's it in a nutshell.
Would definitely like to hear from someone who has an India version & can verify that the Google Play Sttore is still on board after a factory reset.......
