Hey,
I recently got a Doogee S60. I rooted the device successfully. However, I can’t access the "Cellular network settings". Up to now, I was still able to use the phone within my home country. Roaming however was not possible, as the phone didn't select a network. Since yesterday the phone doesn't select a network in my home country anymore either, and I can't change the "Cellular network settings".
Please help!

I have just purchased an unlocked T-Mobile Vibrant and it works well with my carrier' voice network by just installing my current SIM card into it. My carrier is Iwireless. The problem is that I have been unable to connect to their data network. I have contacted customer service for Iwireless and have obtained the APN for their network but any assistance beyond that they are not really forthcoming since the Vibrant is not one of their phones.
Has anyone succeeded in using the Vibrant to connect to Iwireless' data network? I had hoped that since Iwireless was an affiliate of T-Mobile that there wouldn't be an issue with the data.
Any help, hint or tips will be appreciated.
Since you already have the APN settings, go on the phone to settings-->Wireless and Networks-->Mobile Networks-->Access Point Names and there you can click the menu button (lower left corner) and select "add new APN" the put the settings they gave you and done... maybe restart the phone just in case after putting the new APN
I have already entered to APN I received from Iwireless and restarted the phone. Also from the Settings>Wireless and network>Mobile networks where I entered the APN, I go into "Network operators" and choose "Search now" to search for all available networks and this comes back with the Iwireless network IWS and also AT&T. When I select IWS it comes back and says that I am "Registered on network". I restart the phone and still no connection.
Are there other settings that need to be made?
Thanks.

i have installed MiniCM7-2.0.7 in my X-10 MINI about 1 month ago. Till last night it was working fine.
But last night i got a problem which still persists. I am not able to get the Network signal bars in my phone and due to which i am not able to connect the call or do the internet. But the phone is showing the carrier name in notification bar while pulling down it.
However, i Have tried installing the rom again before complete wipe-up but the problem persists.
please have a solution!
Try this way.. Go to settings->wireless settings->mobile network->network operator ..and then select the operator manually.. I guess it should work..!!
Gintonic.SE + zombie-pack kernel by slade ..
tried dial *#*#4636#*#*
select "phone information", you can view every information regarding your radio quality, the signal strength, network band, etc.
press menu button and "select radio band", test it one by one, if you unsure select "automatic"
if everything failed, the problem might be your simcard or your network operator setting, you should contact your network operator customer service.
(i doubt it's your phone hardware/software problem, unless you just force unlocked bootloader that your phone didn't meet the criteria to be unlock)
not solved the problem!
anyone..........
Hi am Haruna from Ghana.
I bought Alcatel Ideal 4060a (AT&T) model a couple of months ago, but problem is that the network doesn't change at all its always at 2g/EDGE no matter what i do or which network i put inside the phone.
Am currently using MTN (Scancom) which is a 4g Sim card and the phone is unlocked to any network.
And there is no option in the settings that you normally choose from your preferred network mode.
So i stated googling for the solution when i came across this code (*#*#4636#*#*) which i can use to change my preferred network, but whenever i change it, nothing happen, i mean nothing at all, all it does is that, when i select "only WCDMA" i will not get service/network, when i select "LTE only" no network, the only thing that work is GSM or WCDMA preferred.
So guys i urgently need your help as am getting frustrating by this phone.
E/GPRS is slow max u can get is 28KiBps, switch to 3g or 4g, it also depended on your att network coverage, Are you living inside bunker?
Hi guys,
I own a Japanese Z2, originally by docomo (SO-03F) and flashed the English firmware I found in this forum (not sure for which area tho), except obviously the modem which I needed to use the docomo SIM.
I came back to Europe, unlocked the phone through an online service which worked fine but none of my SIMs can get a signal or behaves very weirdly.
I tried flashing the modem from the ROM I used before but then I couldn't get any reception and looking for networks through settings didn't show anything. With the Japanese ROM modem, I can find networks if I look manually but I can't connect to them. It shows "Selected network unavailable" and or "Can't connect to network at this time." after selecting the correct one.
I tried fiddling with the settings, different network types etc in the normal menu and in the one accessible through entering *#*#INFO#*#* but nothing helped. The phone number in the menu is shown correctly. As preferred network type, LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) is selected.
I have an older sim card in the right format which can't connect (works fine in other phones) but SOMETIMES I get like 2 bars for a few minutes. It's for phonecalls and SMS only. The internet only card I have is smaller so I need an adapter and won't connect at all. Is there something I can do about this?
Thanks a lot!
My native cellular operator has very bad internet speeds.
However, when i'm in some area which isn't covered by my native operator, i'm able to use network of other cellular operator, whose network is so much better - but i'm able to do it ONLY when there is no my native operator coverage.
My question - is there any way to be always connected to that other operator? If i select it manually, it quickly switches me back to my native operator.
I'm ready to root my phone, if there is any way to do it - I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.
Thank you in advance
Have you tried changing the APN?
yes... phone is still on native network
By default, in "Mobile Network Settings" network operator is set to "automatic". But there's an option to "manually select". This will then scan for available networks, and let you chose one (obviously only possible with the desired network in reach). Having done that, whenever the chosen network is not available, you'd simply have "no network" – it wouldn't switch to any other operator, however strong his signal might be.
At least on Android Nougat this works ...
