You need the password of the Gmail account under which the device was locked.

I guess FRP means Factory Reset Protection. I can provide more info if you need.

Which is an Activation Lock Similar to Apple iCloud, this Technology Founded by Google...

Do I have to flash China developer ROM before unlocking the bootloader officially through the MIUI update? Can use the latest stable global to unlock?
And will unlocking the bootloader with the official method erase all data? (Factory reset)

for me global developer rom worked for unlocking the bootloader.
NO it did not erase any data for me using official method.

You will get approval sms then install Mi Unlock Tool on PC. Connect mobile in fastboot mode. You can go to fastboot mode by pressing volume down + power button. And then click on unlock button in Mi unlock Tool.

Before sending your request you must write a raison why you want unlock your bootloader. The problem is that i don't know what to tell them lol

Tell them that your device got bootloop. They accept this reason. Or tell them you want to root your device. I also told I want to root my Redmi Note 3.

I was on Nexus experience after I had unlocked officially and had a hardware problem.so, I wanted to try stock again to check if the SD card wasn't working on custom ROMs. I couldn't restore a backup I had, so I had to flash miui in edl mode.
I did that and was on global stable. Now I wanted to try a nougat ROM. I checked if the bootloader was still unlocked and it wasn't.
The problem is that I can't reunlock it again using mi flash, as it says that my device can't be unlocked ... What should I do?

Yes, I did. mi unlock says "Your device isn't supported by mi unlock".
By what I have read in the meantime, I tink fu.... xiaomi protects the phone after edl mode. This is to protect customers against the shops, that flash their own modded roms... Do you know if this is the case?

So u basically do one thing go to mi cloud and then try to find ur device. Set location of ur device and then exit it. Agtwr wait for like 2 to 3 days it should be good
Noye:i got my permission on 9 th jan tried on 10th and 12th jan no lick did the cloud thing and then tried on 15th of jan and boom unlocked!!

I did that when I first unlocked the bootloader. The problem is that it relocked during the flashing process in edl mode. Now I can't reunlock it again. That is the problem

I had to reaply for unlock with a different account
I have redmi note 4 which is being rooted with kernel exploit on locked bootloader now how i can disable dm-verity and unlock bootloader?
I flashed twrp with root accesss but unable to boot into twrp due to locked bootloader and dm-verity
Please give me solution for it

You asked the same question 2 weeks ago and I told you that there's only the official way. There simply is no other way to do it and everybody successfully unlocked their phones using Mi Unlock Tool.
If you are getting an error message when you try to unlock your phone, we can help you out.

I am getting error 20091 in mobile while binding account and there is no solution for it

Yes, it will work as long as you are on EMUI 9.1 or lower. On EMUI10, bootloader unlock is no longer possible.

Yes, but if you don't have the unlock code, then it will be hard to get one.
