restart problem honor 5x - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

i flash a kernel with otg support on my honor 5x kiwi L21 .after i flash twrp 3.1.1.0 and install xposed
then install lineage
and my phone some times restart automatically and much more when screen off
for this i restore twrp backup before lineage and unistall xposed and flash stock kernel
but didnt work and problem still is there
sorry for my bad english
so any body can help?

If u were using astral kernel beta version ....it had random reboots....

no supersu after flash [Oreo 8.1]

i downloaded supersu from its official website & flashed it via TWRP (latest)
after a successful flash when i rebooted my phone
i didnt saw any supersu apk on my device
i had same issue with Nitrogen os (7.1)
currently i am using ABC rom 8.1

i recommend you Magisk 15.2 stable, much better than superSu, you can hide root to certain apps, pass safetynet and survive to system updates.

Have you tried this "Go to recovery then after you flashed it, go to "Advanced" then tap on "Terminal". Write "a1to5x" and press Enter. Wait until it finishes. Make proper wipes and reboot."

It didn't help. At the end I wipe cache and dalvik cache
yes it boot.... just intall the modded oreo twrp, install rom, gapps and magisk... playing now

Which gapps package did you use ?!
all works, but voice input replaced the normal keyboard and I can not access in my google account (stock gapps)
I made full wipe, flashed the rom type a1to5x in terminal and then made wipe cache and dalvik cache but when try to flash the gapps an error appears that the gapps doesn't match the rom

All roms are based on mediatek 6735 64 bit chipset ,3.10.65 kernel
All roms are based on old mount points so use twrp 3.1.0

It's not locked thus unlocking it is not necessary

Well, Magisk is not dependent of Rom... If ur device supports it, then any rom with it does....
Or are you asking about the Roms which have pre installed Magisk on it??.

I tried to install magisk on miui9, stock rom, amigoOs and a few other Roms but magisk failed both safety net check. Could you share which Roms have pre installed Magisk?

I don't know which Roms have magisk pre installed... But, i guess newer Roms are more probable ..
When i was on stock, i reflashed magisk which solved both safety net problems... Also doing some tweaks with it might work..
Mind to share which stock rom? S40? I tried to flash magisk on S40 but failed safety net check...

Actually, i was on s036 .. I got S040 OTA update... But it got error during installation

Sony UI ROM has problems with sd card.. it cannot read or recognize or mount !! I tried to change format (i.e exFAT,FAT,NTFS) none of them worked.. then tried checking fstab file.. fstab.mt6735 .. the codes were all clear..!! And I am using- class 10 Sandisk Ultra 16GB SD card.. ! I have tried every ROM in P1ma40 Phone.. but I never got this bug/error.. ! solve this issue I loved this ROM.

Not for the time being. There's a conflict with security patch which makes the phone go into bootloop. I started with match security patch.

I try for this rom and it boots successfully.
First you factory reset your device, flash this rom with magisk and selinux permissive. Wait for first boot, then you can flash fix xposed and after that flash xposed.

I failed again.
1. wipe data/system/cache
2. flash XGEN ROM with magisk and selinux permissive
3. Wait for first boot, and do nothing,then reboot to Recovery
4. flash fix xposed
5. flash xposed-v90-sdk26-arm64-beta3.zip
6. reboot! but the phone bootloop
Maybe I should install the latest .118 firmware through FlashTool again, or xposed version is wrong?

My Xposed Fix is only for Stock .118 Deodexed FW and on eXistenZ v7.0.0 includes by default.
You cant use it on every ROM you want becouse it's a system files (framework,jar and services,jar)
all developers makes modifications on this files to make a "mods", so if a custom ROM have difference from stock fw.118 it cause a bootloop.
I can make a fix for you, if you give me a framework.jar and services,jar from this ROM

Do you have probleme with fingerprint sensor ? I update Version 1.1-0 (20181017, final) and got this issue.
and are you still on this ROM? Could you please backup you system with xposed fix from twrp and send to me?

2nd try option58 a7 port for a5 best rom ever ...
Same as stock Samsung firmware try it

As I said in the other thread, we're basically out of luck until it gets fixed in lineage. If it's not fixed in los 16, hopefully it is in los17.

I install the rom, but it doesn't start it stays in the logo and then reboots and stays in recovery

I have uploaded all files you need
Rom gapps kernel twrp .... Flash rom flash gapps reboot
If you stuck on boot loop goto trwp flash rom again gapps and flash kernel ..
If still you have boot loop than try lineage 16, crdroid , pixel ex,
And see if any of these rom successfully boot..
Than copy the kernel.img from the rom which is booted ..and flash mokee os gapps and that img file ..
Hope it will boot ....
