hello friends,
I want to change my Voice assistant to AutoVoice, So I have changed that in apps & notifications > default Apps > Assist & Voice Input > here I have chosen the AutoVoice Hotword Detection as my assistant (see screenshots 1 & 2)
but the problem is when I try to Change the Voice Input as AutoVoice, its grayed Out (see screenshot 3)..
because of this I couldn't get autovoice triggered with hotword. (Its working fine when I hold home button)...
Am I missing anything ?
Can anyone help me get rid of the problem.. ?

hi all,
I have 2 questions/notes to solve:
1. driving mode: text messages under driving mode is enalbed, but when I receive an sms , I have only the notification sound (no text to speech)
Incoming call, allarms, etc. working fine.
It's not really important, but I wanted to see working once.
My mistake/forgot something or it's a bug ?
2. S Voice: If i open S-voice from home buttom (double click), it doesn't work properly. Example: When I ask about time, I see the clock but no voice about time and the application freeze (microphone icon stay blue 5-10 sec.)
If I run S-voice from screen icon, It works fine.
Anyone have same situation ?

Go to the Text to speech (TTS) settings.
Settings>Language and Input> look for TTS output>Enable driving mode> Select driving mode and change any settings.
Try changing the TTS engine to google text to speech/ S voice.

Whenever I try to use apps on a device that use the accessibility section of my phone, Whenever I turn on the feature, it always seems to turn on the action to voice output. I just installed PushBullet and when I turned it on in Accessibility, when swiping my homescreens, the accessibility voice turns on and says "page _ of _" Please help me fix this bug. It's soooo annoying.
There is no official fix for that... Only thing you can do is go to Application manager, swype to all apps page and find and disable Google Text to speech and Samsung TTS

Hi everyone,
So I have full screen gestures turned on for my navigation bar on my S10 Lite (Sprint Network USA SM-G770U1). I wanted to see if there was a way to either get rid of the activation beep for Google Assistant or to reassign the assistant to another gesture. I just don't want to accidentally activate it when doing the home gesture. I tried assigning a different home screen gesture with Nova Launcher, but it didn't work.
This is my first post and I'm excited to be here!
Thank you!
In the Nova Settings it says: "Android 10 gesture navigation - Google has not yet made gesture navigation compatible with 3rd party launchers. There is nothing that Nova Launcher can do to change this until a future Android update."
I came across the same problem myself, and found a solution how to completely turn off Google Assistant. There are two things you need to do:
1st. Go to Settings > Google > Account services > Search, Assistant & Voice > Google Assistant > Under "Manage your Google Account" tap on "Assistant" tab > Scroll to the bottom of the screen > Under "Assistant devices" tap on "Phone" > Turn off the button next to a Google Assistant.
2nd. Go to Settings > Applications > Tap on three dots that are located on the right top of the screen and choose "Default applications" > Assistant application > App for help with the device > None.
That's it!
I hope you have a great day ahead. :fingers-crossed:
Hi, there is a bug on Android that really annoys me. (Galaxy S9 - Android 10)
I activated google voice input(voice to text / google voice typing) in General management > language and input > on-screen keyboard > Manage keyboards and deactivated Samsung Voice input.
Now If you go into the power-saving mode(medium power saving) your device will automatically deactivate the Google voice input(voice to text) and activate Samsungs voice input. And not enough, disabling the power-saving mode will still leave you with Samsung voice input activated and set as standard, therefore every time you go into power saving mode your preferences are changed permantly, favoring Samsungs own voice to text feature.
