Problems with the call service - huge drain of battery - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hello! I have using my LeEco from two month but recently I began to use it for make calls more "agressive" (1 hour of calling) and I noticed that the battery drains very fast. For example, I just made a call of an hour, when I begans I was in 65 per cent of battery, when the call was done I get 48 per cent...is not normal right??? isn't optimized at all...is there any other app I can use???

Yes it's normal

Hey, just read the forum, before posting a new thread. You spamming the forum in this way:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088948
This is quite normal, Calling takes away the biggest chunk of battery life, followed by the screen.
Disable use wireless networks from location and security settings, that should improve battery life significantly. Also make sure that the phone isnt set to auto search for 3g.
thanks very much!!!!
Turn off Background data & u wil save a hell lot of battery. mine gives me a day and half.
VillainROM installed!!!
After installing VillainROM 1.0 and calibrated battery, it goes already 4 days(of course have left only 18% for now). But I´am very fulfilled with that. Before in Froyo and calibrated battery I get only like 2 days. I recommend you to try it(VillainROM 1.0).
CHEERS!
It depends of how much apps are running in background and if you use push notification, 2G or 3G, wifi...

How I got more than 2 days from 1 charge

Phone now on %10 after 2days 10Hrs
Usage -
calls - 1Hr
Angry Birds - 1Hr Aprox
HD playback - 40Mins
HD recording - 5mins
Alarms - 30mins
Music - 10mins
Wifi - 10mins (for updates and app install)
Connected to TV - 10mins
40 Photos taken
and some other day to day things like looking at pictures and using apps.
Changed to GSM only data only on for Facebook updates
With the same usage as above before removing Drop-box,changing screen brightness and GSM only, i was getting less than a days use before recharge needed.
I think the biggest battery sucker is the screen, my brightness is set to about %25
Running services and other stats shown in screen-shots.
Iff i play Angry Birds like an half hour, I think battery will be 50...
Faulty device?
I would organize an party if my batterylife goes like this..

Try re-calibrating your battery.
Can you link to where you got that wallpaper as I really like it
Also what is the name of the clock widget?
Thanks

Switching off data, or to only GSM really defeats the purpose of having a smartphone... It's well known the main battery drain is data connection and phones searching for better reception (i.e. between GSM + 3G). Using WiFi over 3g and even switching to GSM only when using wifi is beneficial but having to manually do this all the time takes the smart out of it.
Nothing new here to be honest.
I Agree, used to switch data transfer always off and on, but found out its a way more handy to keep it always on. If there was a function that will automatically switch 3g data on when you need it and then turning it off would be awesome...

Used to be like this with GBA emulators but yesterday I played for the full commute(1hr45~) and only drained like 20%. If your phone is still new give it time to burn in.

Clock Widget is from Beautiful widgets,
As for Data, I had it off on other tests and the battery lasted less than 17Hrs,
So its not the main problem i was having, i would say its the screen brightness and the running programs/widgets
however, i will now do the same test but with data always on and see what the score is.
i used to be like you, gsm n low brihtness, etc. but then i changed it to using my phone to its max potential (e.g. anti-theft programs will be rendered useless if ur using 2g mode/data turned off while screen off profiles, whatsapp can only get msgs every intervals of 30 mins e.g.)
with 3g and wifi turned on 24/7 using net most of the time i get about 16 hours which is just perfect, ( and 8 hours sleep), unless im going to go for flights (then i just bring my power bank, prob solved!)

[Q] normal battery drain rate for CM7.2?

I got a battery app installed which shows % in the top bar. It stays at 100% for a while but when it starts draining with the screen on I lose about 1% every 1-2 minutes, I think its somewhere in between, if I am taxing the cpu it more frequeent than every minute, this would give me about 2-3 hours usage which seems extremely low.
Brightness is min.
wifi/3g off.
auto sync off.
accuweather is installed (mentioned as it has a service running).
I get the drain simpley from doing things like scrolloing app drawer and checking sms.
With screen off in sleep mode battery drain is ok less than 5% in 12 hours. I have this issue confirmed on 2 different batteries.
If this is normal fine, I just want to compare to others on this.
I used to get around 1 day for heavy use ( like wifi, games, etc.) and 1.5 to 2 days for moderate use Which ROM are you using ??
Cm7 based roms use more battery than stock, cuz also their performance is a lot better.
Use uot Kitchen to get the % battery instead of an app.
Also the launcher u use affects battery. ie Go launcher drains plenty of battery.
If you can't squeeze a day's worth of battery from ur phone ur probably using it too much (how much does a laptop last on battery, seriously!)

you mean a day of constant use screen on or would there be periods of it sleeping?
My phone lasts more than a day mostly 3-5 days but thats mainly because its idle most of the time. However I plan to transfer some tasks to it and it seems I will need to keep the charger in during the day.
Compared to stock CM I think isnt too bad, the drain was also bad on stock with the screen on and during calls but the only reason I specified CM is that I didnt have the % meter on my stock rom which means I dont have the same comparison.
My current rom is vo-1's 30 may build. I had bugs on official nightly that vo-1's resolved (including force reboot when using market) so is the reason I am using it.
Incidently my laptop drains its battery slower than my android.
Why I read that so many use thier phones like 2 days, and I can't even get a 12 hours fair use.
I use 2G (3g drains my battery really quick), some whatsapp, some FB and some calls. Music it's only in the morning on my way to work.
I've buy a new battery from ebay, but, it's the same. Using CM 7.1 rom "The End 4.0"
yeah my hunch seems right that it wasnt overall much diff to stock (that also drained superfast when screen on). IN fact during sleep it seems improved over stock.
I am over 4 days at the moment with 35% charge left. mostly sleep. It lost 3% during the time it took me to fetch the below stats. Note that calls like my earlier hunch as well seem to drain battery far more than display.
4 days 8 hours 38% left
display on 40mins used 4%
voice calls on 1hr 5mins used 33%
mobile standby 41% 4hrs 8 mins
phone idle 4days 7hrs 23%

That's insane... either you DO NOT have data connection (an internet plan) or you are just a lucky guy. 2 days are barely believable but 4??? Give me a break!!!

Surely, you're not using WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, handling e-mails or any of the like. If you're just using the SGA like a normal phone, OF COURSE it can give you that kind of performance. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

He barely touched his phone Anyone can get 5-6 days like that! And being on Stock, it's extremely probable.
Well mate you can't expect battery on a cm rom. Performance and good battery isn't an option on cm. Performance is great on cm but battery, nah!

yeah sadly it seems noone has a comparison that I need.
Which is time needed for 1% usage whilst screen is on.
This isnt on stock tho the phone is on CM7.2 vo-1 build.
From what I see the battery life is around the same as stock.
Now I am over 5 days with 17% left. Just did a phone call and it stayed at 17%. When below 20% on stock the phone was unuseable.

Is the battery level change significant? And it shouldn't be a problem if you don't reboot, right?

My battery level changes also, but not to that degree. It could be a bad battery, but I'm not too sure. :/

Weird Battery Usage Behavior

I have some weird behavior with my XZU, the other day after a full charge I left it idle overnight at 100% and the next morning was still at 100%, amazing.
But there are other opportunities when the battery will go down pretty fast, today with no active apps is going down at 1% to 2% per hour, currently is at 52%. I have attached print screens from BBS, what's your opinion?
NOTE: I have Stamina Mode ON

I just took these new screen shoots of Partial and Kernel Wakelocks and now there is a process called "AudioOut_3" and the phone has been sitting idle
AudioOut is running when you're listening to music, or use apps that emits audio. Have you listened to music after plugging the phone off the charger?
*Backup* is backup, I guess? Still, 15 minutes wakelock is a lot.
Fullsync is Whatsapp that's syncing in the background.
PowerManagerService is the charging service which runs while it's charging. It should not still run after it's no longer charging. Reboot if it does.
Overall, not the worst I've seen, but those wakelocks could've been much much shorter. What does a wakelock mean? Whenever a process is waking up the phone to do a task while in deep sleep/standby. If an app uses 20 minutes to complete a task, then it'll suck the battery, and when you unlock the phone again, you'll soon notice that it's been using a lot of battery while it's been "sleeping". Most apps with background sync will do this, and if you have a bad connection at the time, it'll use even longer to update the app.

Here's what i understand from your screenshots Screenshot_2013-08-11-12-57-31.jpg (2 of 6) and Screenshot_2013-08-11-12-57-41.jpg (3 of 6)...
qcom_rx_wakelock - 12m 44s
No Data connection & No or Unknown Signal - 1hr 58m 7s.
Your phone lost its network signal and is trying its best to get it back thereby pushing more power to its tx/rx circuits and using more battery in the process..
Just a not so intelligent guess.. lol

Maybe this is related to the Stamina Mode, because I have it ON. The phone has been on my house all the time, with T-Mobile signal and Wifi always. I know Stamina mode will turn OFF Wifi and Data, maybe that's the reason??
Well,, I understand stamina mode turning off Data and WiFi..
But checking on the screenshot, it also said "no or unknown signal" so it means your mobile signal is lost also?

OMFG. Getting really tired of this question. First of all wrong thread, and second, do some ****ing research before you ask about these things. It takes me 3 seconds to find an existing thread about this topic. Third, it's currently not possible to root the ZU.
