I think,it will not even boot.It is only working on snapdragon-variants.

This ROM is not rooted.
You can root manually by installing supersu via cwm.

This is an unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 build for the SM-G850W which is a Snapdragon variant of Galaxy Alpha and has an unlocked bootloader.
This ROM does not work with Exynos variant (SM-G850F) nor a locked bootloader (SM-G850A).
Instructions
Make sure that your SM-G850W has the Lollipop bootloader and modem (The last installed stock ROM must be 5.0.2).
Flash TWRP recovery via Odin.
Use Odin without 'Auto Reboot' option.
After flashing TWRP via Odin, shutdown your phone (for example remove battery). Don't reboot to the stock image which restores the stock recovery.
Boot to TWRP recovery (Vol UP + Home + Power).
Optional: Do nandroid backup
Wipe data / Factory Reset
Install the ROM (CM zip).
Install the Google Apps.
Enjoy!

Network operator search, call echo cancellation, 4K video, and more are all working well.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon is developer friendly.

G850A has a locked bootloader and TWRP recovery/custom ROM cannot be installed.
G850A user needs a root method and Safestrap (Bootstrap / Recovery for locked bootloader).
So what root/recovery method could we get for G850A. Any way of unlocking bootloader for this phone? I see the SRS root method has worked for some but not for all

To my knowledge, there is no root/recovery method for G850A. This is the reason I got G850W instead of G850A.

Yes, echo cancellation is done by the ES chip. The G850F doesn't have set and completely does it in software. However it works fine in the meantime.
Qualcomm is open source in that area which is great. They are the opposite if it comes to open source graphics drivers.

Yes.
Snapdragon Alpha CM is far better than my Exynos Alpha CM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-alpha/development/5-1-x-cyanogenmod-12-1-unofficial-t3145217).

Hello everyone, I put this thread together to post a simple deodexed version of the EQK1 update that pushed out in early December. The rom is mostly stock, I have removed Knox, added Busybox and SQLite plus some other tweaks. The installer does contain a root, the kernel will be flashed with Magisk 14.6 upon installation. THIS VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES! As always, you are choosing to download and flash this rom yourself. I am not responsible for any bootloops, roasted sim cards, exploding batteries or (in very fun cases!!) cyclones of nuclear death fire because you didn't first read or familiarize yourself with proper flashing procedures and the risks that come from installing custom Operating Systems. I recommend making a full Nandroid backup before flashing anything, I personally always do. Please feel free to hit the thanks button if this thread floats your boat! :cyclops:

So we have to install official stock TW 7.0 first right? Do I have to boot and start the setup for the stock rom?
What does LOS 14.1 needs to be use from the stock rom?
I ask because the installation of the Los 15.1 is very slim and I'm interested in how many space the whole installation need.
Or will only survive a few needed parts of the stock rom after flashing your 14.1?

This is because 14.1 and 15.1 use nogat ril blobs and prefer to install 14.1 or 15.1 over nogat in order to avoid bugs with the network.
So flash stock followed by twrp via Odin and 14.1 by twrp? No boot in between?

1) When trying to off the phone, 'shutting down' screen shown for 5 seconds.
2) Overheating and much battery draining in games and LTE.
I used your previous release and it has same problems like this one. Why all los based roms have overheating and battery problem i dont know. Can i use stock kernel on this rom?

This rom used stock kernel (only activate 8 cores and fixes for mdnie and mtp)
You can use stock but need repack with los ramdisk. (but may have some bugs....)

For some reason none of your A12 based ROMs work for me, tablet (N5110) is always stuck on bootlogo. LineageOS 16/18.1 work fine. Any ideas? Maybe some logs from recovery would help?

Excuse me, didn't notice the NEWEST build available. It works fine. But for some reason N5110 build asks for SIM-card on initial setup, is it okay? Sorry if it has been answered before I am a little bit stupid.

Not yet, final means that I will not work on this version, it reached it's final state from my side.
Hello! My device is 5100. Does anybody encounter a problem, when applications do not want to start, device just comes back to home screen. But after some time (many minutes or even hours) it may work normally.
The same situation was on Lineage 16.
Another problem - how to get write access to external SD?

Hi! Thanks for reply, you mean this module works exactly with Magisk 22.1? Cause I tried this module on my Magisk 23 now installed and it does not work.

Yes,I think Magisk 23 is not compatible with n5100
I installed 22.1 and it worked! But in version 23 I can't install any module.
