Anyone know how to disable the Bluetooth pop-up? Every time you turn it on, you get a notification to select which device. Any way to auto select? Rocking Oreo over here.

Swipe the notification to the side and you'll see an option to mute it for up to 2hrs. With root, you can clear out the notification clutter more easily.

In that case, it is the app you are using not the S3. Your title is misleading.
Hi guys,
Just a quick question. When I disable the mobile data, I get a notification about it. I mean I disabled it myself, I know that it's disabled, why do I need a notification to inform me? Is there a way to turn this one off? It's pretty annoying having to clean the notification bar every time I do this.

Sony has always been like this.. In the old days you got a notification when you enabled data and when you disabled it.. Maybe next time they will only show up once...
if you get the notifacation you can hold on the notif, then go to info, and there is a option to diable notifs (a tick box )

There's that option, but sadly it does nothing in this case, disabled but still there
I recently upgraded to lollipop and want to remove that pointless carrier name in the top left corner of the screen. if xposed still doesn't work, is there another, similar app that does?

Settings->Display
Here you will see "Display Carrier Name" with option to turn it off. Turn it off and you are done.
Might as well turn off the "Display Network Speed" too while you are here.

any chance do you know how or if we can turn off vibrate when receiving a notification? I was able to set my default notification tone as "drip", but I don't want it to vibrate. thanks

You should be able to go to settings in your notifications, and toggle vibrate to off.
Hey All,
Is it possible to keep the notifications on the screen until dismissed. Or at least the notification count?
Sometimes during activity, walking/working the phone and watch will trigger a notification and it gets overlooked. But after 10seconds or so it clears off the watch face. Would be nice to see it stay until cleared.
Plugged through the settings and can't find anything.
Could be i am just blind or maybe it's not possible? Or perhaps it is with a root command?
Any help much appreciated.

Just like any android device, the notifications stay in the notification area (swipe from bottom) until you dismiss them (swiping to right).

For sure. That much is clear. But for instance the "lock screen" on a phone can also be configured to show notifications all the time so just glancing at your screen you can see that you have some without unlocking it.
On the watch I don't see any real way to , at a glance, see that you have waiting notifications without sliding up with a finger which requires waking the screen with the button or double tap.
I just updated my phone to android 10 but since the update this silent notification appeared and won't go away.
Does anyone know what causes that notification?
Try changing the notification settings in "health" app.

as stated in the previous comment, its Samsung Health. Tap the little arrow tot he right of the notif and itll give you "options" or "details" or even possibly give you the option ot tap the notif itself and turn it off.

I see.. thank you!
Apparently it only appears when I set the notification setting to be silent. No way to remove unless the notification is changed to normal. But by changing it to normal the icon is always shown in the status bar.
Kinda liked it how it was before. No difference between silenced and normal notifications.
