I don't think I will at this time, this OS is more complex and aroma is currently not working with it at the moment, if aroma does start working I may come up with something, thank you!.

Dunno for sure.
But when you have the logo of oneplus stored as a bin file.
Maybe you could try in fastboot
fastboot flash logo logoOP.bin
This removed thw unlocked bootloader sign on many devices. Not sure if this would work on the oneplus 6.
Edit:
Found the logo files in
/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name
Its called LOGO_a & LOGO_b since we have 2 partitions this would also make sense.

Those files don't contain the boot warning screen, so replacing them won't do anything.

Hello all.
I found some boot animations that I really liked, so I decided to port them for our Atrix.
All credits go to Dysgenic for creating these (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905538). I just changed the values in desc.txt
Also thanks to CaelanT for showing a noob how to zip these correctly
I tested most of these on stock 2.3.4 , so let me know if anyone has problems getting them to work on another rom.
Rename the files as "bootanimation.zip" and place them in /system/media. You can do this with ADB or a file explorer like root explorer.. or if you are cheap ass like me ES File explorer. /system must be mounted as writable to be able to write to the correct location.
Personally I do this.
1. Place bootanimation.zip on sdcard.
2. open ES file explorer. Go to Settings> Check mount /system as writable.
3. Cut bootanimation.zip
4. Paste in /system/media. Click ok to overwrite old boot animation
5. Reboot
Enjoy!

I personally got it from absolute system tool. The developer is always adding and updating. You can change Res and fps. Its 2 bucks in the market and you can choose from over 200 boot animations.
I'm having a weird problem changing my bootanimation on my atrix. It has android 2.3.4 and I have rooted it and am using super manager file explorer to copy and paste from /sdcard to /system/media but when i reboot i only get a blank screen in place of where the bootanimation should have shown. The phone does boot up all the way and does work properly but when it is supposed to show the bootanimation.zip the screen just stays blank.. i even copied back the original but it still wont work. weird... any ideas?? I also tried "bootanimation utility - lite" from the market but still same issue..
discovered in making your own bootanimation.zip file that you dont use any compression on the zip file. thats why it wasnt running.. the zip file is just a "store"..
My favorite is still this one:

+1 for this. I had the same issue with it. I'm using Ubuntu to zip my file and I think that was the issue. Gonna try it on a virtual machine to see if that's what the issue is. I'll be sure to share it when I'm done. It's a nice simple Scott Pilgrim animation for all you fans out there.

Introduction
Hi developers! I am proud to introduce my newest boot animation called "Android 3D", featured in green and cyan color! It's fast and lightweight and it's available for our LG GT540. If you aren't an owner of a LG GT540 or if you have a phone with different screen resolution, feel free to visit the original topic in the Android Themes and Apps section and choose between QVGA, HVGA and WVGA resolutions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260241 !!!
What's new
*This list is temporarily empty.
Requirements
In order to have this boot animation, you need to root your LG GT540. It's recommended that you have a custom rom installed.
Installation
You can install this boot animation in several ways:
Using ADB
Using Root Explorer
How to install it using ADB?
If you have previously downloaded Android SDK, then installing this boot animation will be a piece of cake. Just follow the simple steps below and you should have your boot animation installed in no time:
1. Connect your phone to the PC. Make sure USB Debugging is checked in Settings.
2. Open CMD.
3. Set the CMD destination to the folder where the SDK tools are stored (adb, fastboot etc.).
4. Rename the boot animation file to "bootanimation".
5. Type this commands in order:
- adb remount
- adb push C:\Users\#bootanimationdirectory#\bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
- adb reboot
6. Unplug your phone.
How to install it using Root Explorer
1. Rename the boot animation file to "bootanimation".
2. Copy it to your sd card.
3. Open Root Explorer.
4. Select your boot animation and copy it to /system/media directory (don't forget to mount the system partition as R/W).
5. Reboot your phone.

I'm not sure... I'll do some research.
So, I created a nice boot animation in Windows BIOS style, using LorDestinY's tutorial.
The FPS equals the boot up time of the device, so no big delay.
Images are contained in multiple folders, so no black screen, and have the size of 720x1080 for the Z3C model.
The information used for the lines are as real as it goes, and is based on the D5803 model.
Have fun!

Sorry for late response. No, you can't use this without a rooted device, unfortunately. In order to backup your old bootanimation, using any file manager supporting root (Root Explrer, X-plore e.t.c.), navigate to /root/system/media folder. You will see a file called 'bootanimation.zip'. That's your stock boot animation. You can just rename it to anything (bootanimation.zip.bak for expample), or copy it to your PC. Then you can flash my zip. You can use any Recovery, like CWM, PhilZ or TWRP. If you have root, but no recovery, using your PC, extract the zip file you have downloaded, navigate through /system/media, and copy bootanimation.zip file to your device. Then replace your old bootanimation with the new one. If you would like to revert to stock after flashing this mod, delete the new 'bootanimation.zip' from the same location, and copy/rename the stock back. Reboot, and see if it worked (there's no chance for brick, don't worry). If you get just black screen, you should change the .zip's permissions to 644/rw--r--r-- (whatever the file manager shows), but there's shouldn't be any problem.
Beautiful!

Hi guys,
So after seeing the Colette Oneplus Bootanimation, I decided to try other options. Eventually, I would like to do a new bootanimation for each accent on Oxygen OS.
Instructions:
1. Go to /system/media and rename your current bootanimation to bootanimation.zip.bak (just to have a backup, if you don't do this you will have to dirty flash your ROM).
2. Download your preferred color and paste it in /system/media.
3. Rename to bootanimation.zip.
4. Make sure to change permissions to rx- r- r (0644).
5. ???
6. Reboot and profit.
Can't decide? Try Rainbow Special Edition (click on image to see .gif):

It's because selinux mode was setted to enforce, than you can't change some system files. To change your boot animation, use TWRP File Manager. Remember to mount System in TWRP --> Mount

You will need to extract and manually place then and set permissions. The VZW animation is housed in CSC folder.
Once placed here works great and looks fantastic.

You can also install it manually:
1. Download the zip file and extract .qmg files from it (system/media/...).
2. Go to root/system/Media (on your Phone) and copy .qmg files there.
3. Make sure that the permission of files is set to 644.
4. Reboot!
The processor type is not important at all.
Works like a charm. Thank you!
This is a beautiful boot animation! So much better than the ugly Verizon one. Thanks for this, and thanks to @pimpmaneaton for showing how to do it on the Snapdragon Verizon variant.
Want to use this on the newly rooted Snapdragon s8+?
Drop it into this directory (for TMobile) and apply correct permissions
If doing for another carrier finds your careiers folder inside the system/omc folder and drop it there.
This is beautiful!!!
T-mobile snapdragon varient here!!!
Thank you for this!
Great! Thx!
hi all .. yes I jumped the gun and extracted the files to go into the media folder and says I cant ... HOWEVER I was able to get into terminal emulator and chmod the files ... and I still cant copy them ... I DID already remove the qmg files that were in that folder ... help
got it ... thanks
Shutdown in res/media/video im so funny sometimes
Awesome Work:good:
Thank you
Easily installed by following instructions of manually placing 3 files in correct folder, renaming old boots (in case I ever need to revert), and chmod 644! Looks great. Thanks so much for the hard work and sharing. Much appreciated

Sorry, there is a shutdown animation in this package? I installed it (I think by hand) ages ago and while I have the wonderful startup animation I don't see a shutdown one.
Granted, I use "soft reboot" a lot but I still do sometimes reboot the "old fashioned way"
No there's not I was just saying where to find the shutdown animation file location for any other general shutdown animation, I use The Oreo bootanimations for example.
bootanimation.zip
Can share bootanimation.zip for other device plz :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
you happen to know what the crypt ones arefor??
