Hi, Im thinking about buying Honor 9, but i dont really like EMUI - I prefer stock Android (pixel experience) - but there is only OpenKirins RROS in this forum - do generic treble ROMs work on Honor 9 (fingerprint, NFC, camera, ...) and are they stable or are they full of bugs and dont generally work because of kirin processors or some other reason...?
Or is Xiaomi mi 6 a better choice here since that forum is full of different ROMs...?

Hi ,
I have recently bought a POCO f1 phone, however, I don't like the MIUI interface. I would like to flash the ROM thereby installing a new OS . Please recommend for some stable ROM which would help me with below features.
1. Good Battery
2. Calls / Data
3. Camera quality .
Thanks in advance.
Your Buddy,
Arvind
Of all the roms I tested, the best in general is miui 10 beta could be Xiaomi EU or from Xiaomi, but if you don't want in any case miui, the second for me is lineage os 16 with extremekernel, but in both are near in performance, battery, the only exception that make miui win is because camera quality and ir camera works, nothing more for me.
I'm on Xiaomi EU 10 beta with stock kernel only for ir camera, if not I would be in lineage 16
Hey everyone! I'm waiting for my new mi 8 lite to come and I'm wondering if I should flash a custom ROM immediately or not.
I used to have Redmi 3s prime (land) and I faced a few issues with custom ROMS, i.e. huge battery drain (LOS 15.1), camera picture desaturation (LOS 16), unbelievable lags (dot os).
In that device, the most stable ROM among those tried was Havoc OS, but the one I enjoyed most was LOS 16, because it was simple and minimal.
So, is there any platina ROM that has both good battery back up, simplicity and preserves the great camera mi 8 lite has?

Like any miui device if you want the best your camera offers you need miui. Custom miui roms will provide the best compromise. If you want aosp Havoc is available also but the maintainer builds and posts in his limited free time. So builds are a little behind source but for me havoc has what I want in an aosp rom.
There is fully working MIUI Camera port for custom roms. You can try one of many the most popular currently are Aosip and Pixel Experience. Roms are updated fairly regular but all the main notifications and changelogs are in telegram group. So join there if you want to be up to date and also if you need help you will get it faster than here. Btw for me best experience is Xiaomi EU stable rom, its MIUI without ads and bloatware. But its up to you to find what suits you best.
Are there any AOSP based ROMs that still supports MI 8 LITE except Mokee wich is full of bugs?
I think that I'm going to install MIUI 11, which Android 10 variant is in beta. It's curious that years before was the community who enlarge the support, and now are the phone companies again. All is cyclic..
Hi all,
I flashed a very early build of Proto's ROM about 2 years ago, here's the link to his project:
[ROM][PORT][10.0.0] MIUI 12 China Dev & Xiaomi EU [27.04.20]
MIUI 12 China Dev & Xiaomi EU for Mi Pad 4+! So, it seems like Xiaomi decided to forget about us.. and left us with MIUI 10 and miserable Android 8.1.. But! Thanks to porting we can use Pie vendor from MI 6X/Redmi Note7 and MIUI 11! You can...

Since then, I haven't updated my MiPad 4. Just wondering what's the most stable ROM on the market currently? Xiaomi.EU or AOSP like CRDroid or something else? I mainly care about having the basic features that aren't broken, working camera and good battery life.
Try ArrowOS 11... it's fast & stable....
Good morning alla , first of all congrats to all for the all developed ROM form this device. I'v tryed crdroid 11 & 12 and i found this ROM enough stable. I've just a problem... I need a ROM with root , bank app and google assistant. Crdroid 7 is the most complete and stsble ROM that i found but haven't google voice match enabled. Is there a ROM that support all my needs ? Is there maybe a workaround to get it working on crdroid ?

Upon looking at the available ROMs, all of the crDroid releases for this device are in beta, if you want a rom as a daily driver, please look for a stable rom with minimal bugs and many users. You're probably experiencing issues because your rom is in beta.
Apart from that, there are plenty of stable roms for the Redmi Note 10, though all are in development so expect minor bugs.
All Redmi Note 10 ROMs:
Redmi Note 10
The Redmi Note 10 is a 6.43" phone with a 1080x2400p resolution display. The Qualcomm SDM678 Snapdragon 678 chipset is paired with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+2+2MP and the selfie camera is 13MP. The battery has a 5000mAh capacity.

I haven't tested any of these as I don't have a Redmi note 10, but from the descriptions (and prior experience with these ROMs), I'll recommend CherishOS* and Pixel Experience** from the front page of the link above. I can't tell you if they'll be fast, but they're pretty smooth and customisable. If you need speed and customisation, then go for Havoc OS*** (it's faster and in many ways better than crDroid), though from my experience it can have more bugs than other roms.
