Whats the size of AOSP Source Code Normally ? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys my Internet Connection speed is 6 Mbps, Just doubt how long it would take to sync? I am trying to compile an AOSP 8.1.2 Rom for our Device.

[Q] Galaxy Ace CM 7.2 stable / Time Sync

Hi!
I just installed CM 7.2 by coolya. ROM works nice and fast, but date & time syncing just doesn't work, although "Automatic, use network provided values" is activated.
I don't want to install a clock syncing app. I'd rather just use the values of my provider with the above setting.
Do I have to use something like 3g, GPS or WLAN to have it working? Because most of the time, i use it offline - just like the classic cell phones.

[Q] [LwW|CM10.1|FXPExtended] Low WiFi transfer rates?

Folks;
running CM10.1 and FXP Extended Kernel (+Linaro WiFi modules) on a WT19i/Live, I wonder whether there are any known issues regarding WiFi speed? Actually, using lftp to sync the device via FTP to a local folder on a Linux host makes me end up with something like 500kB/s transfer rate. Using FolderSync and SSH, it's half of that at best. WiFi signal quality is rather stable, both the Linux laptop and the WT19i are in the same network, and the WLAN itself should be capable of doing 54Mbps. Anything to track down what's making things slow here?
TIA and all the best,
Kristian

[Q] T-Mobile Wifi calling P769 for CM

I've been following Antonx port of the CM mod for the P769. One thing I've been trying to find out before I try it out is does it support T-mobiles wifi calling? I need to use this feature in my house as I get no reception in parts of my basement. From the research I have done, it appears that this is a feature T-mobile has incorporated in the OS and is not an app.
If it is not part of CM, is it possible to add it manually somehow?
I know there are apps such as skype that allows you to make calls through wifi, but I'm specifically looking to have my phone function through my normal number.
Alternatively, if the CM Rom would improve cell reception so I could get a better signal, that would work to. Though I doubt it would do much as that would be more of a hardware/signal issue.
Thanks in advance.

cm doesn't support t-mobile wifi calling and there is no way to add it. I wouldn't count on it being implemented any time soon. the signal quality is the same as with stock rom

[Q] Faster WiFi Network Scanning in Android Devices

Hi XDA, long time lurker/fan, but i am newly registered user. (so i cant post to the developer forums yet )
I am working on a capstone project for school, what i need is to be able to take WiFi scans (no need to connect, only scan available network BSSID and signal Levels) quickly.
Currently, the Android API takes up to 5 seconds for a scan. Is there something i can do to improve my scan rate??
ANY, and i mean ANY! advice, ideas, or suggestion are welcome...
There really isnt any reason to increase the speed because it's fine at the speed as where it is at

I think you misunderstood me, I am working on an project/proof of concept app for indoor positioning which would benefit from quick repetitive scanning.
This would be for experimentation.

Downloading source, so slow :|

Hey,
does anyone know why downloading android source is so slow?
I have 20mb/s internet connection and AOSP downloads with ~50.00 KiB/s speed. This is insane...
