That decision has to be taken by the Pixel Experience devs, i just build the rom for shamu straight from their sources with no modifications from my side at all

I can't guarantee if ElementalX will work with this but i am pretty sure popcorn kernel will work on it:laugh:
As for customizations expect it to be like the google's stock on Pixel 2 which is the soul purpose of this rom.

for people who need it ... I renamed "liboemcrypto.so" to "liboemcrypto.so.bak" and Netflix works.

With popcorn kernel v1.2 boot but never up same with Elemental 5.08, 5.19, 5.21 versions boot only with Magisk

Are u saying that both the kernels only boot when magisk is flashed along with them

No ROM only boot normal no custom kernel not sure if you tested with another kernels?
