Extract default watchfaces from Amazit Bip - Amazfit

Hi, I have seen watchfaces online for the Bip that are like the default Casio-like watchface, but modified.
I intend on doing small edits to the original, but can't find the .bin file online to download, where did they get it from? Is there a way to extract it from the watch itself or MiFit? Or have I just not searched where I should? Help please

I would also be really interested in getting the original .bin files for the default watch faces, anyone know where we could find them?

Found these image files on GitHub, just create the json files and number appropriately and you get your very own custom stock watchfaces.

P.S: If you have the time to create the bin files for all of the stock ones, be sure to upload them here, it'll help many others like us.

ttf font files, where to get them?

For example, Simple Text icon apps tell me to place custom fonts in that app's /font folder. But I don't see anywhere to obtain ttf files for android, just websites that tell me to install apk files. where do I get ttf's?
edit: nvm, I didn't know I could use regular windows ttf's on an android phone

[Q] Language settings, JP audio w/EN subs and text, Final Fantasy IV

Hello all. I recently bought Final Fantasy IV and was disappointed to find there was no language setting in the game that I could find. Ideally, I would like to play with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Launching normally under USA locale plays English vocals and subtitles. I was afraid that the Play store variant would only come with English audio, but I found by changing my Nexus 7 language settings to Japanese, that it would in fact contain and play with JP audio and JP subtitles. I can't understand why , this being the case that there isn't an easy in application language switching option that I can see.
All the components are there. Does anyone know how I could somehow edit the files to play JP audio and English subs? Copy the JP audio track to the English version of the game seems the most straightforward , if I could figure a way to do it. Anyone have ideas for this process? Programs I will need to unpack the apk or game data and edit what needs to be etc...? Thanks.
To th ebest of my knowledge, it appears that I'll probably need to unpack the .obb file somehow. The .apk is small. Does anyone know of an suitable utilities to unpack and repack/sign if need be .obb an/o .apk firles?
I've seen a few posts on the forum suggesting that I simply rename the .obb to .zip, .rar etc... and it will simply be able to be extracted. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case. I've been attempting to use 7zip to extract the archive with a number of renamed file types and every time it claims that it doesn't seem to be a valid archive etc.... Others have suggested 7zip works for this in other cases, but I'm not sure why it is failing now. Do I need to use a specific program to see if it is a valid archive?
Edit: I also tried with WinRAR and to no effect - the same problem where it reports that there is no archive present etc...
At the moment I'm trying this with an edited/sideload ready version of FFIV 1.2.3 (which has both the .apk file of a few megabytes and the .obb of a few hundred megabytes), at least until I can pull the exact copy off my device. I'd really appreciate any insight. What do I need to open/extract the .obb and why is it not appearing with 7zip? Thanks.
I'm going to try and get another copy of the files from another source (pulled directly from my Nexus 7 or Nexus 4) onto my Windows PC etc...

Huh... I'm not sure how to help you too. Just a simple beginner. But using .zip or .rar worked for me. Just that the file names were all long and weird. Also, every file appears as a .file extension
open obb file
Hi,
did you tried to open *.obb using "jobb" application from Android SDK?

MX Android TV box firmware repacking/rezip

Hi guys im a noob to the forums and to rom customization in general looking for some help
I have a generic MX dual core, and have been supplied a flash firmware and image from the supplier. This image is basic and has a lot of bloatware apps which i want to remove and put some of my own
The image supplied is a zipfile and contains:
factory_update_param.aml
hd18d_mx4.zip
recovery.img
I am able to successfully restore my box with this image (so I know that the image is working fine).
Within the hd18d_mx4.zip there is:
Directotories: data, META-INF, recovery, system
files: boot.img, bootloaded.img, logo.img
I can see the all the system APK files within the system/app folder. The problem is when i try to add another APK file into this directory within the archive (in this case videomix.apk), I am not able to restore the image to the MX device.
Can anyone help me with a noobies guide to do this. I have read that the apk file has to be signed, and the zip file has to be signed also?? But im not quite sure what this means, nor how I go about doing it.
Any help or tutorials will be much appreciate. I have downloaded the APK-multi-tool but dont have a clue what I need to do
Look forward to your replies.
P.S. Im using a windows 32 bit machine
anyone???

My Puzzle in Rom-modification

I wanna modify a Rom for personal using. It seemed no mistakes until I added some apk I often use to my ROM.
The point is that I found many .so files with the same name but different sizes in some different apks unzipped. So I have no idea that how to add these .so files with the same name into sys/lib/ folder. Obviously, it's impossible that there are two or more files with duplicate names in a folder. I don't think these files with the same name are used to achieve same necessary functions in different apks because their sizes are too different.
It was so sad that no exact solutions can be gotten in search engines.
So, what should I do next? My work has stopped for long time due to this strange puzzle. I need some solution. Thx a lot~

Facer help! Where can i find synced watchfaces?

Hi
There is a watchface that i put in my favs and the creator has been asked to adjust the branding on it (probably someone complained). This update didnt affect the watch face for me somehow, now i am switching phones and the update is in effect on the new device.
When i sync the gear s3 back to the old device, still use the original watchface.
So my assumption is the watchface is stored on my phone (somewhere, somehow)
Does anyone know where to look? I downloaded ES File Explorer and tried going thru the app apk, and the app folder under android>data>com.jeremysteckling.face : not sure where to look in the apk cant find any *.face files and the folder (just says "empty").
Appreciate any help :fingers-crossed:
