I have modified the stock lgsytemui,making it in black and white theme, i have added also date and time in expanded statusbar,clear all button,operator name on top,removed the qslide apps,and screen time-out button in quick settings,this mod, works on p760,i don't know for other models.
INSTALLATION
copy lgsystemui.apk on /system/app
set permissions to rw-r-r
reboot
-before installation make a copy of original lgsystemui
-for odex rom, delete also the odex file

Need to decompile the systemui,and remove,in /res/layout/statusbar.xml ,the line:

Got it working fine on my p769 20h. The status bar turns a transparent whitish color sometimes but over all I like it!

I guess there are lot people coming from HTC. Then you all know how great Blinkfeed is. (at least I Love it.)
You can get blinkfeed on the G4 and select it as a launcher.
Install the first eight Apk's. And afterwards install the desired plugins.
Now you have Blinkfeed on the G4. Best of both worlds.
And as a bonus it's more responsive.

No unfortunately no themes possible due to the HTC account which isn't compatible.

Fantastic work, I appritiate it
Works ok. Not my cup of tea. I hate the vertical app tray and the lack of launcher options. I dislike all of my news and feeds being mashed into 1.
I use Wizz Widgets to setup individual feeds that look much better too.
Themes are now working well. You have to use an HTC account. Not your Google plus
Thanks, this is great. this phone was so on my nerves until I saw this and went back to my favorite sense home and blinkfeed. everything is working great. I just don't see the folder I'm supposed to put the weather animations in( I dled them already but the path doesn't exist on my phone).
as for htc account, I just used my old account I had on 816 and it worked fine.
the only thing really missing for me is hTC dialer. it has much better functionality for dual sim. I keep calling people with my other number with this Lg dialer, because I accidentally press the sim switch button
I somehow don't find HTC blink feed good it's power consuming

There make a folder named weather all lower case and put the MP4 files there. Not another folder. Only MP4 files inside and you are good to go.
May sound silly but do I need to root the G4 before installing blinkfeed ?

I switched from the M7 and am really missing blinkfeed, I wish they made it as a widget rather than a dedicated launcher

yes its possible i will made later a flashable zip ..but try firts my rom so u dont need to flash the the feature manually to other roms :silly:

Works great at 580 dpi. A few things, like the dialler labels fit on the screen better now.

Maybe I spoke a little too soon. Two things....
The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting then re-connecting. I've tried on two different routers, so it's definitely the ROM.
The max sound volumes are set a little too high, the sounds are slightly distorted. Reducing the volumes manually sorts this out though.

I got no WiFi disconects you are the First Person with this Problem ...maybe try the zancum Kernel from 2nd Post. ...greets

Hi about a week ago my IR blaster stop working (s6 edge) and dont know why. I do some research and find out some apps can disable sensor so i delete all apps what i install last week and still nothing... i do the sensor test by using *#0*# on dialer and led on the phone its working but no working with tv...also find on internet fast charger can damage sensors its that true ? There is anything else what i can do ?

Thanks! I found out thanks to your findings, my proximity sensor didn't work.
I thought of the Macrodroid app I have running.
And yes, there was a script which invoked the proximity sensor.
Disabled the script, rebooted my S6 et voila. IR working like a charm.

more customization with layers i like to mix the themes and with cmte its not as good
Id go for layers personally cause it has less bloat for frameworks and stuff (in the code) Anyways it is up to you all!

Isnt possible. Cmte is deeply integrated into frameworks as also other components so cant do that. We had thought of that too in yhe start. But it isnt quite possible.
CMTE any day. The reboot thing is very annoying.

Btw reboot thing's gonna change in the near future.
I don't understand people, "lets fck up whole framework instead, just because layers a needs a reboot to apply" . What do you think, why aosp roms are faster than any cm one?

One of the biggest pro for layers is: not having cmte. This means, lot of layers fan won't be happy with a hybrid solution.
