Mate 10 pro deactivate app protection standby - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

hello. completely remove apps protection for battery..... is possible, even in secret menu or with other way, to do this? for me many apps, even with all permissions, don't send notifications with screen off. this is very annoying. is impossible that is not a solution. can anyone help me?

Try this:
Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> Apps -> Settings (cog wheel at the bottom) -> Special access -> Ignore battery optimisation
It seems to improve the situation for me, but I'm not quite sure if it is really cured or just improved; I still keep any eye on my Mate10P.

koobee pepsi ps1 - apps notification problem

Hello, I have a koobee pepsi P1s, and have the problem that the phone does not keep applications running in the background, for example in the application whatsap only receive messages when you open the application, the mobile kills all background jobs, anyone knows any how to fix this problem?? say I have no savings activated battery.
1. go to settlings -> security -> pureBackground: disable it for all apps
2. settings -> sound & notification -> notification -> app notifications: enable for all apps (or just the ones you want)
3. settings -> battery -> battery saver: turn off, "turn on automatically" set to off
4. reboot the phone
please tell me how it went.

It doesnt work i did exactly what you said and nothing, i dont know what else to do, i have tried it all
Try removing Trojan apps like (File manager, Uni Launcher) Those apps really sucking RAM's up but you need to Unlock the phone and root which I won't do until my warranty is over.

How to Close an App Without Force Stopping It?

Hi,
I recently purchased the new Nokia 6 which has not disappointed me yet.
But however when I exit an app from the 'System UI' (by touching the overview button and then swiping left or right) it force stops the app. But some apps have been set to show notifications or do background tasks. So I really need them to not be force stopped. Is there any way that is possible in Nougat 7.1.1 ?
Cheers!
You could try Greenify, it works best with root but it has a non-root mode.
Also, I think this is the wrong forum for this thread.
I'm no. Just leave them be. This is how android works. If it needs the memory then it will close the app itself.
Solution
Go to Settings -> (General tab) -> Battery -> Background Activity Manager -> Enable the needed apps.

Notification big issue mate 10 pro

I trued every setting and i dont receive any notification, i have not social media apps only news apps that i use all the day, sports geek android news many apps that i cant be notified despite that updates are very recurrent all the day
Try switching off battery optimisation for your app
Settings - > Apps & Notififcations -> Apps -> (cogwheel) Settings -> Special Access -> Ignore battery optimisation -> switch off for your apps
Settings -> Battery -> Launch - set to "Manage manually" whatever you need
Did a factory reset and notification seems to work perfectly, i did not change any settings i just left them handled by the phone. Battery seems greater also

Downloaded Services won't stay enabled.

In Settings -> Smart assistance -> Accessibility -> Downloaded Services, the apps installed there keep getting turned off.
I'm running Type Machine (keystroke logger) and Smart Launcher, and neither will stay enabled. I can turn them on, then a while later, I'll get a notification that Smart Launcher is unable to turn the screen off, and directs me to this setting, where I find both disabled again. I haven't been able to pin down a time frame yet, although it will happen multiple times between reboots. Neither setting survives a reboot, either.
Anyone seen this before? I've found a few reports of it on Reddit, but no solutions. Can't believe I couldn't find anything about it on here.
Aside from this and other small annoyances like the touchscreen apparently losing calibration, it's a fantastic phone.
I sometimes have this issue with nova launcher as well. You can go battery settings > app launch > turn the two apps to manual manage. It may solve this issue of them auto turning off.

Thanks, I've done that and will keep an eye on it to see if that solves the problem.
I have this issue frequently with MacDroid. I have MacDroid set to manual battery control and have excluded it from pretty much all system management. It also has every permission known to mankind.
Oddly, even when Accessibility shows that MacDroid is disabled, sometimes (most of the time) it continues to function. So this may be a UI bug as much as a system disabling the services bug.
The cause I am not sure. I only know the downloaded service for Nova Launcher gets auto turned off if you switch back to Huawei launcher. However, it does NOT get auto switch off when you remain on nova launcher.

It doesn't seem to affect apps running at all, merely affects certain specific features. In the case of Type Machine, it seems to just be blocking its ability to capture words coming off the keyboard app. The app is still running, I can still see previous captures, it just stops capturing.
With Smart Launcher, it says it's needed specifically to "allow Smart Launcher to expand the notification panel and the quick settings panel".
I changed the power settings per Koong1's suggestion... they turned off again after a while, but I re-enabled both, and they've stayed on ever since. So that may have solved it.

You can try restarting your device to check if they stayed enabled. If it does, then they are pretty likely to remain stay enabled in the future.

Active call screen doesn't appear and notification in status bar keeps popping up.

It's pretty annoying, because I can't access the features of the call and keypad, for going through the options, e.g.
Any idea what could I do about it?
thank you

I hva the same problem since yesterday
I had this problem too. Go to settings -> applications -> applications -> in the three dots in the top right-hand side, select "show system processes" -> Phone -> Storage -> Delete cache and data -> Go back once -> Force close and restart your phone.
