Root for ZOJI Z8 (MTK-6750) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I got this ZOJI Z8 recently, nice phone btw, it runs with mediatek mtk 6750, I successfully unlocked bootloader on it, but now I really need root to get rid of the stock ROM.. I've tried mtk Droid but it doesn't recognize the phone (I think it is a little too new for mtk Droid), so if anyone has another way for trying to root this thing I'd be really thankful. Thanks in advance, have nice day.
Considerations:
- I've tried every one click root tools via APK or PC, never had any faith on them but I was ready on trying anything.
- I'm Brazilian, so that's why my English may sound a little odd.
- my name is Thales, Just in case.

[Q] Kitkat MTK6582 DOOGEE DG800 Cyanogenmod

Hello Android Hacking Experts!
I bought some days ago a DOOGEE DG800 MTK6582 Kitkat Android (at comebuy.com bought) and I want to install the cyanogenmod. This mod doesn't support my device and I also can't root my smartphone, framaroot doesn't supports it too.
Now are you interesting
Can someone help me rooting my device and installing the cyanogen mod, nearly everything I found at the web doesn't worked.
I hope you can help me. I would be so happy, and if you help me maybe you can win a Paysafecard of 10€ for your hard help

rooting the dg800
Hey there
I just wanted to ask if you ever managed to find a way to root your dg800?
I bought one recently and have also come up short on all the methods I have cone across thus far. . I am also on a Mac so a PC free method would be ideal. So just figured I'd ask if you ever figured it out.
Thanks
[root yes] [cyanogenmod no(t yet]
Hi guys,
I own a doogee valencia myself and I have rooted my phone.
The flashtool that doogee supplies doesnt work very well in my opinion, try to find some other tool.
Also i would recommend the recovery.img of the site needrom.com and then the rom kitkat next from bassrockers.
This way you can install superuser and root the phone.
Cyanogenmod is not yet ported by anyone (I also cant do it), so we have to wait for a really smart dude that will port cyanogenmod for us!
Search the web for info, there is enough! Good luck :good:

Allview V2 viper S Android 6.0 MT6753 TWRP

Hi. I have Allview V2 viper S, it has Android 6.0, Mediatek MT6753, 3 GB RAM, h ttp: //ww w.gsmarena.co m/allview_v2_viper_s-8413.php
and I am looking for a root method.
I tried all the metod present and none of them is working.(kingoroot and others)
The phone is using android 6 and its encripted by defaults, without the possibility to decript.
I am looking for helping making a TWRP recovery for this device.
I have the original recovery file from this phone, but I dont know how to make a twrp recovery.
If somene know how to, here is the original recovery image h ttps: //ufile.io/885841
The full rom can be found here h ttp: // ww w.needrom.co m/download/allview-v2-viper-s/
Thanks.
PS:
Remove the space to get the link working
i want to request the same thing as well
I wanted to write a new thread with this :
Hello,
I am starting with the specs of the device : http://www.gsmarena.com/allview_v2_viper_s-8413.php
a good device in my opinion, a little bit low-end
I have searched all over the internet and did not found any root method for this phone
KingoRoot on pc and directly apk as well, no response, it failed.
I was trying to install the philz touch recovery from gionee elife s plus http://www.gsmarena.com/gionee_elife_s_plus-7732.php, spflash gives the following error : https://i.ytimg.com/vi/XfIK-LHW6Zk/maxresdefault.jpg (screenshot not made by me)
I tried to install custom recovery for gionee elife s plus (twrp), i unlocked the bootloader https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-15270.html and ended with a bootloop.
We are a bunch of guys who just want to root their phones, without any succes (without having any knowledge about rooting development or something like this)
Please, if you have any ideea about rooting this device, or at least develop a method please, tell us.
If you want to port a ROM for this phone, I am glad to hear that.
I can give you any info about my phone, or you can give me testing products like recoveries or flashable zips.
Thank you very much for your patience.

what version do you have?
Still No Root?!
It just says Doogee X10 in the Model #. . Dual Sim Unlocked. Its a china phone so either MTK6795, OR MTK0633
Update Doogee X10 Chipset
I tried using several scatter files in sp flash tool, and the chipset is stated clearly as MT633
I think TWRP on this phone might be a lost cause, i have given up on the idea.
I am in the same situation, I stay here...
- Root for Unlocked Dual SIM
Wondershare for Android, Titanium Backup for Android, use OTG for this - tricky because everything in knowledge base for this stuff is usually just follow same as X5, but X10 has these details.
Unlocked + Dual SIM.
still searching for CyanogenMod
The 6.0 has default features though, Try contacting Doogee for a Factory Reset Instructions due to reading fixed corrupted pics. They might have a white paper dl that might include ROOT,
might need to translate into the territorial language but if you prove ownership you should be able to get that, maybe if you scathe a china web portal about doogee updates you migh find some useable links there
Magisk works. Make sure you:
Unlocked your bootloader
Know how to use fastboot
Have a recovery.img
Understand that if you choose to root, we are not responsible for loss.
There is no custom roms that I know of - however can build one, please do!

Ulefone Power3 root?

Hello i would like to root my Ulefone Power3.
The Problem is a have to use the newest firmware from ulefone because i installed a new display and with the old roms the display won't work. Ulefone changed some things in the new rom...
And the twrp which is available for the Power3 works not with the new version. So i can't root without twrp.
I tryed kingoroot but it also won't work for me.
My bootloader is unlocked and i can send zip's with fastboot.
The rom running on my Phone is GQ3056MF1_HCS986A_Ulefone_V40.
I hope someone can help me rooting my phone or can build a working twrp or help to create a pre rooted rom maybe?
I saw many people here in the board with the same problem.
Please help us thanks
Still need help
I think there many Power3 / 3s users out there.. Maybe anybody can help.

Asking for Rooting OPPO A5

Hello all,
I have bought an Oppo A5 phone few months ago. Since then I am searching for rooting this device. But unfortunately I couldn’t find anything about it's rooting method.
I, being a rooted user previously, desperately need to root this phone of mine too. All I find about Rooting Method for Oppo A57. I searched and saw Oppo A5 and Oppo A57, both are different device.
Can anybody help out by teaching me the method to Root my OPPO A5 device?
Thanks in advance.

There is a way to root the device, however it doesn't seem to be very beneficial as the process also breaks some stuff like mobile SIM signal loss or corrupted NvRecovery. The only thing we should do now is to wait for someone to port a new custom ROM like Lineage or things like that to this phone and to replace the OS entirely.
But in case you're still curious about it, I found this rooting tutorial posted back in 2017. Note that it might be outdated so proceed with your own risk
Man I hate ColorOS so bad, can't wait to see someone to come up with a new custom ROM for this thing
