i have amazfit bip watch.
only 1 downloaded face is possible on the watch. i think it is not enough to change the apparence regularly without having to download each time 3 or 4 faces that we want to switch among, regularly.
maybe the choice to have only 1 slot (for a downloaded face) is because a problem of space to store.
ok so in this case why not give the possibility to remove default faces (people have not all the same preferences) to free some memory space and then have the possibility to download/store more than 1 downloaded face.
for peple who dont like the standard faces, they don't use them and they can't remove them, so they take space uselessly on the watch.
what do you think?

So I have asked this in the Asus Zenwatch 2 forum to with no answers.
My goal is to have a watch face that changes backgrounds with a selected folder of pictures, thats pretty much it. Anything extra like showing battery and weather would be great.
There is a stock watch face called photos that does this but they are all landscape default photos, I want to change that but I can not find anything out on this watch face. Cant even find it searching the stock faces that come with android wear and there are no settings for the face on the phone/watch. Im sure its pulling the photos from the storage on the watch, so does anyone know how I can place my photos onto the watch in that folder (there are a LOT of photos).
I know there are a few apps out there that let you create your own watch face but I havent been able to find any with the function of automatically changing the background. Does anyone know of any apps that change the background at set preset amounts of times?
You would think this wouldnt be a hard thing to do but I cant find it or access the phones 4gb storage. Would this be a better question in the general android wear forum?
I want report a bug, that several users have already confirmed with CN and US Rom and Amazfit Watch app from Mi Store and Play Store.
If the watch is set to 4 data fields for activities, the sport item order can be rearranged in the Amazfit Watch app, and the 4 fields will be shown correctly during exercise.
But if however the watch is set to 6 data fields, it ignores the sport item order from the app and shows always the same set. This is especially annoying as we can't see e.g. the average pace during a trail run.
Is there a correction with another rom?pacefield, US, CN???

I have the same issue. I change the order of the fields in the app but they don't change on the watch. (( What should I try?
No solution yet for 6 fields. If you need a custom set, you have to switch to 4 fields only.
It doesn't even work with 4 fields. How do you make the change? Do I need to start an activity first?

If you change the order in the Amazfit app and you don't start an activity on the watch, you wont see anything on the watch. Strange question or I misunderstood you.

I mean does it matter what's the consequence of the process? Does it matter if:
1) First I arrange the fields in the app and then start the activity, or
2) I must start an activity and then change the order in the app while the activity is on, or
3) another option?
So far it's not working and I thought there could be another proper way to do it.
My last tests are from the time of the first post. So, long time not checked. I always use 6 fields and can live with the default order.
But it should be logical that only made settings in the app can be used in an activity. Changes after a finished activity has no effect to the already done things. The sport item order screen is only visible while an active workout.
Bought a new toy today. Was looking for a nice watch to replace pebble. Mainly I need good notification handling, long battery life and always-on screen.
Now this is a nice device, however it is heavily focused on fitness. Problem is, I don't care about that a tiny bit and this is really irritating.
So, is it possible to completely disable sports part and only use it as notification device?
Let's start about watch faces. Is there a face without symbols of foot and heart, but showing total notification count instead?
Good question .... indeed for me the same "notification" priority instead of "sports" ....
Have you seen "Watch Droid Assistant"? It does enhanced notifications and lets you read past notifications, so you may want that.
You can also turn off the widgets for sports stuff in the phone app.
Not sure about having a notification count on the watchface, but you can get loads of custom faces online (lots here https://sawfb.fabiobarbon.click/ ) so you can have one that's less sport focused if you like. Just plug the watch into a PC and drop the watchfaces into the WatchFaces folder.
I should mention that I also just got this watch today so I am still learning, but it seems good so far.
I'm looking for the exact same thing! I have a personal phone and a company phone. I bought this watch only for the company phone so that way I can quickly get alerts about calls, texts and emails. But, I don't want any of the sports/health/fit/whateveryoucallit features on the phone.
Anyone been able to accomplish this? I checked every setting I could find and disable it, but I was hoping there would be a hard switch for it.
There is no way nor need to disable the fitness features, simply make sure continuous heart rate isn't enabled, as well as "Activity reminders" in Settings, then if you don't start to record an activity it will oy register steps, what cannot be disabled and doesn't affect anything else.
The best experience for notifications on Pace/Stratos/Verge is AmazMod + SuperFit or GreatFit.
If you don't want or can't install Amazfit Watch app on your (Android) phone, then you can try WatchDroid, a freemium app that can send notifications to these watches after you install the companion service app on watch itself too.

I'm planning on buying a Bip or Pace but still haven't decided which one. A feature that is necessary for me is the ability of setting multiple new alarms without using the app in the smartphone. I work with gloves, so everything must be done without taking the phone out of my pocket. Do they both have the ability of doing that? Do you guys have any recommendation on buying the Pace over the Bip?

The Bip requires new alarms to be added using the app, but they can be enabled/disabled on the watch. The Pace/Stratos both allow the addition, removal and enabling/disabling of alarms on the watch
Be aware the touch screens do not work that well with gloves on though, they're like phone screens
why is it not possible to "set" alarms directly on the watch... a "smart"watch that can't do so simple actions, and need smartphone to do that...

You need the phone once, when you add an alarm. You can still enable/disable them on the watch.
This will have been done to save programming space for the set up procedure to keep costs down on the Bip I'd imagine
I’m struggling with that ‘alarm setting’ also. While the countdown does have a mm:ss that can be set on the Bip, the alarm can not be set with a hh:mm ?? The programming/ space usage for that would be very minimal, and help a lot !! Notice also that the smartphone would not always be around, since Bip can do a lot on its own.
Hi, can a message like "go to appointment" be set with the alarms in amazfit bip and/or other amazfits?

I bought yesterday an Amazfit GTS (lava grey color) to go with my Xiaomi Mi 9 and I'm very satisfied about the watch (design, quality, screen, battery lasting, ease to use Amazfit app is very comprehensive and clear).
The only problem is the watchfaces.
First of all in the watch only two watch faces are installed and blocked and can't be delete (juste few posibilities to personalize it). There' a third watch face possible that can't be applied but that's it, if I choose a new watch face it delete the third face already choose.
Three faces are already poor concerning choice and with only one wich could be change it's become very very poor....
I have also à Samsung S3 Frontier and the number of watch faces stocked in the watch is infinite
This problem disapoint me ! Does a solution exists to install more than one complementary watch face at the same time ?
Moreover, I've tried to download watch faces from the two folowings apps "Amazfit GTS" and "Amazfaces" from the play store and I can send directly the watch face choosen on the watch but after that these watch faces are never displayed on the watch faces avalaible on the Amazfit app in "on line watch faces". you need to apply the same watchface you chose from 3. For example, try the one called DIGITAL, then open AMAZFIT and apply DIGITAL watchface
