Hello guys.
At the beginning I would like to apologize if I mistook the departments of this forum. After last official Sony android update my phone started to have a strange problem with camera. I have noticed it first when I was using messenger. When I was trying to take a photo in messenger my screen became black. Also I noticed that my phone is getting hot in camera area. Then i reboot my phone but it still wasn't working. Currently my camera is working in Camera app, but it doesnt work in any other app. Also front cam isn't working anywhere.
Activities that I did on my own:
1. At first I was thinking that it's last update problem, so I tried fixing it by Xperia Companion, but fixing software there didin't help.
2. After that I unlocked my bootloader and I flashed TWRP recovery and then custom ROM but it didnt help also.
Do You guys have any ideas what's going on with my phone ? I will appreciate every help.

First of all, i admire to helping ppl here, and many smart and genious hard working gys!
I flashed my x10i (i can swear, it was x10i !!) to 2.3.3, baseband ver.2.1.71,all was ok, till i spoted the phone converted to x10a(!?).
Also i have noticed some gray spot on my pictures, i suppose it's a software problem, what do you think?
And my music getting glitchy while playing on, if moving the phone. All the rest working great:silly:
So., i would like to downgrade to previuos firmware (cant find a healthy mirror link, so if someone could help, i'd appreciate it), but dont remember was it 2.1 or 2.2(
So what do you suggest in my case plz?
p.s.
the phone is still sim locked, is there some software solution here to unlock, cuz cant unlock by code.

Hi, maybe ya messed during flashing your rom. If rooted, try check ya buiklprop, see is there any line mentioning "x10a", try change it into "x10i" and reboot phone. Ur rom is official updated or custom? 2.3.3GB music player is wellknown buggy non smooth. Only can be solved if using other music player that supported. And about the link for 2.1 here from MY BUDDY'S thelogic hope helps

no free solution for unlocking your sim.
Also the camera works perfectly in 2.3.3
either reflash the 2.3.3 rom using flashtool or repair using PCC or SEUS.
If music still is glitchy, use some stock based custom roms

This is Sekhar.
First of all thank you for all XDA members as they have make me to learn much much much about the devices and there usage.
Coming to my issue, From the same XDA forum I have downloaded the AbakadaROM v1.0 to my karbonn thinking that it is working fine with all other karbonn a30 mobiles.
After flashing the device using the CWMR recovery ( cleared data, factory reset, cleared cache, cleared system and cleared the dvlick) am unable to use the rear camera on my device. Front camera is working fine but no rear camera.
Tried with clear installation again and agan for nearly 10 to 15 times and also with all kind of camera apps like HDR, ICS camera, Rooted Camera app and also replaced the camera app from the system >> apps. Same result, camera is not working.
I don't bother if the front camera is not working but i prefer rear camera which I lost after flashing.
Please do advice any fix for this any new patch or rom to fix the issue please please...
I have also installed 4.0.4 again but it is not working same black screen and if you try to close it turns in to green.
Please do help me I have verified almost all threads and found that one thread is ith front camera not working but only one replay try to install ROM cleanly hmm. I tried all kind of this and please please please do post if there is any fix, I don't want to hear that it is a hardware issue.
Sorry if there is any post with the exact same issue and I haven't seen that after searching.
Hope you will find me a fi and help me as you do to others please please waiting for your replay.
Do post stock ROM of karbonn a30 if you have as Am unable to find that.

I am having the same issue, after installing that same ROM my back stopped working and i really miss the camera a lot,
let me know if you have found a fix for it .
I was also thinking of a going to service center and telling them to install the default stock rom.

I didn't find any hope of finding solution and if u have got it serviced could you please provide me the cost information?

I have ST21i2(Sony Xperia Tipo Dual), and firmware version of 11.0.A.6.8. Before I updated this device, all was working right, Camera was awesome. But now after update, Camera has gone all weird, headset is not getting recognized. When I restart my phone with headset connected, it is getting recognized. Then when I remove the headset, the internal speakers doesn't work. Then, when I restart this mobile, then everything works fine... I need your help, I know this is surely software fault, some of my friends also said about these problem. Please suggest me, which firmware should I use to get the best result, THANKS!
P.S.: I tried Global Generic firmware(11.0.A.1.12) and original firmware(11.0.A.6.8 - Indian Version)[Because I'm Indian] but nothing works!!

its recommended to show ur phone at the nearest service centere!! it might also be the problem with the hardware sometimes!!... the service centre ppl will hopefully give u the best solution or they'll re dump the software into ur device

My warranty period is over, so all I need is just a ttf file for 11.0.A.1.8 .. I have a zip file of that, but my phone doesn't open in recovery MODE
Anyone please give me build.prop of sony xperia tipo dual st21i2.i unfortunately erased that file on my device.i want to restore it back through cwm aroma file manager.i am on sony stock android with rooted.
Hey guys after I've upgraded my phone to Marshmallow using flashtool the front cam says it is not available..... Then I decided to downgrade to Lollipop but still it says it's not available. Please help
I have had the same problem with rear camera and I haven't found solution. You must send your device to Sony service. I have got new device in return.

Hi my phone work perfectly but one day the camera stop working.. i dont know why, but doesnt work the back camera neither the front and flash neither too, all of the cameras stoped any know why? already do it a factory reset and used repair for sony companion but still the same problem! I hope anybody can help me! :crying::crying:
