So the thing is, I flashed LineageOS into my phone some time ago. The flashing went well and I had 16gb internal storage.
Yesterday I flashed back my stock rom. For some reason, now I only seem to have 4gb of internal storage and the phone is continously complaining about space being low. In "about phone" it shows 300mb available and 16gb total, but when I go to storage settings it shows 4gb total.
Any ideas? I've tried factory resetting, several times. Here's also a df picture:

Try formatting the data partition in TWRP. Then install your stock ROM by using the dload method.

Yup, it's running now. Let's see the outcome.
Edit: Holy crap, thanks man. It's all working perfectly now.

My phone suddenly get in trouble. I can't install/update any app from play store. The message "Application cannot be installed in the default installation location" always show up. This is screenshots:

It's very annoying because I have to wait hours for downloading and then that message comes up.
well it looks like your apps partition is full. although it may say u have free space left on USB/SD, your system partition is maybe full.
if u go to settings->storage you will notice you have 3 "storages" 1. Interal 1 (1-2GB), Internal 2 (10-11GB) and SD card storage.
It maybe possible u menaged to fill 1st one too much. Check storage there and try moving some apps to SD card if possible.

Format it in fat 32 with your pc

But if I format FAT32, I can not use files larger than 4GB , tx.
I don't think it's caused by having a 64 gig card. I had the same issue with just a 32 gig one. It didn't clear everything (like photos) but apps and stuff got wiped when I thought it was just going to erase the external microsd. So must be a major software bug. (I got the beta MIUI 7)
I formatted the card on a Mac using an SD adapter and it's working fine.
...
do not use the pop up screen to format.. format inside the system menu and you are good to go.
Nice feature..
Greetings people,
I own a Lenovo k50 t (a7000) and i recently took it to a phone "service" shop, if i can call it that way, to install a add less ROM.
Said and done, i leave my phone there and return a few hours later to pick it up, everything seemed fine till i wanted to install a new app.
I got a error message telling me i had insufficient space, which is strange since it had a fresh OS on it, so i decided to check the storage space details
and to my amazement it showed me i had 1,3 Gigs total internal Memory from wich 1,2 G was used by the OS. I used ES File Explorer to look up the storage details.
Then i did the same thing using the storage details tab from the OS "settings" window and it showed 16Gigs of wich 14,5 Gigs being "OS Used".
I got a feeling that the partitions got damaged or something like that.
I already tried formating everything via CWM and reinstaling a new software, it worked but the partition was still the same size, 1.3 Gigs.
Could anyone help me out please?
Thanks in advance,
Mike.

I took it back to the service and the guy managed to fix it.
He wouldn't tell me how tough.
Im guessing the partitions were screwed up and he rewrote those.
First off, I have a Galaxy S5, rooted, xposed installed, with 6.0.1.
So I partitioned my SD card a few months ago and I haven't had any issues. My apps were installing just fine and I was no longer getting any errors in regards to low system memory.
Today, I received the dreaded low system memory message and went to investigate.

When I try to view the details under User Data, thing's don't quite add up:
I am fairly tired so pardon my mistake in judgment if the solution is simple. However, I cannot wrap my head around why I am getting this error when everything was working fine previously.
When I plug in my phone, this is what you see in regards to the visible partitions:
As you can see, there is a lot of memory left on both internal storage and the SD card.
In addition to the phone storage indicated there, I had also partitioned off a portion of my SD card to be used as app storage. As it stands, when I go to storage, this is what is shown:
Here are the details of the expanded storage and again, I am unable to make sense of the numbers.
If you could provide some assistance in making sense of this, I would be eternally grateful! Thanks!
My guess is that maybe at some point I had booted up my phone without my SD card in and it changed how the partition was recognized and all of the app data was migrated back over to the phone. This would mean I would have to back up my SD card, delete all of the partitions, and then repartition the card using ADB. I hoping this is not the case because I don't remember that process being fun.
Again, thanks ahead of time and hopefully there is an easy solution to this.
This used to be possible on the previous update, but now the option is gone. This is what the formatting page looks like now:

The following link was the old way of allowing the SD Card to be formatted as internal storage.
https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/s6od0a
Doing this on OOS12 doesn't change anything in the settings as far as I'm aware of though. Is there anyway to do this or is my best bet to downgrade?
IF downgrading is the only option, I tried following the guide on this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4324431/,
but driver download link no longer works and the ones I found online resulted in a Code 52 error so I would need help with that too.
In the end I was able to successfully downgrade, but then a new problem showed up. The SD Card was working as intended for a few hours, but suddenly stopped. Now, even when it says it is formatted, it stays unsupported. Neither formatting as internal or external change this. Any idea why? Restarting the phone does not help.
Edit: Sorry for the extra post in the reply. I wasn't aware of an edit feature for the post.
More context, this happened as I was downloading some apps from google play. When I tried to open it, it just flashed and went back to the home screen and eventually resulted in a phone reboot.
Afterwards, I tried formatting on my PC with:
-Disk Manager (all options are greyed out except delete volume)
-Minitool (Says format successful, but doesn't change. Has 'other' as the format)
-AOMEI (Same problem as Minitool)
-SD Card Formatter (From the sandisk website: Says formatting failed)
Starting to think the SD Card is just dead. Can someone confirm? A simple yes or no is good enough.
