hi,
My android 55 inch TV is on version Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
On multiple restart's of android tv i observed only few times sound stop coming out from apps like Youtube, Netflix.
Reason i observed is it happens only if logitech webcam with inbuilt mic is plugged into USB.
May be android tv on restart sometimes assigned logitech webcam as default AUDIO Output. Sometime it kept inbuilt speakers as Audio Output.
Without doing root how this problem can be resolved, please help ?

Bluetooth audio is becoming a more prevalent option with television now. More TVs have Bluetooth capabilities and more soundbar and other audio have Bluetooth reception to allow them to play audio from cellphones and other devices.
I would like to have audio from my Google TV broadcast by Bluetooth for wireless listening. My TV does not have BT, but I have found a TOSLINK to BT device which is even powered by the USB port on the TV. The TOSBlue II can be found at telme2.com. So the audio broadcasting component of the problem is essentially solved.
The problem that remains is on the revieving end. Rather than spend $$$ on a nice set of BT headphones and have them occupying space and worring about them being charged, I would like to use my android phone which already has some fairly sophisticated audio capabilities and is always with me and charged. Even with earbuds it would allow the mobility of wireless headphones. I currently have the Galaxy Note II with Jelly Bean, but think this should be doable with any fairly current android device, even a tablet or other non-phone.
So far, I have not been able to find a solution for the phone which will play BT audio broadcast from another source. An acceptable solution would accomplish this for my phone, and Android Tablet, or an iPod Touch 3g (which I also have).
Has anyone ever accomplished this? Does anyone know of an app or mod that allows this?
Thanks for any help.
Hi all,
I have the Note 2, it is not rooted and full stock. I purchased the Allshare Dongle and I did update the dongle firmware. I can get video over HDMI but no audio using media player or spotify. I tried 2 different HDMI cables. I tried going direct to TV and bypassing the HDMI receiver to which the TV is connected. I tried going to Accessory Settings and trying both Stereo and Surround.
Seems like this should be obvious but its not. I get audio from phone until I turn on allshare cast, and then I get no audio from the phone (as it should be because HDMI is then active) - but there is no HDMI audio.
I searched the Net but can't seem to find others with the problem. Thoughts?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S21 device and I am thinking to do my live stream on my phone (with Samsung Dex connected to TV and keyboard mouse combo).
What I used to do with our stream setup is to connect 3 cameras (2 MILC with HDMI > USB capture card, and an action cam - DJI Osmo Action - with RTMP feed), and connect these to OBS studio for multi camera solution. We are streaming live music for our friends. For audio, I have a Zoom F1 recorder which can be also connected to the target device and broadcasting software via USB or 3.5mm jack. This is easy on Windows with OB studio, however not so easy on Android.
I have a multiport adapter with multiple USBs, LAN port and HDMI, and tried to search some app(s) which I could use for streaming and switching between the cameras, but unfortunately I have not succeeded Does anybody know an app, which can handle multiple external cameras at the same time and switching between them? I would be grateful for any tips.
Thanks!
Hi all.
The sound from a USB DAC (iFi Go Link) I bought to use with my MediaPad keeps pausing randomly, introducing a brief gap in playback each time. I installed UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro), to see if it would help, but it hasn't. Sound from the headphone socket works fine, and the DAC works fine with my Sony Xperia phone.
I've noticed in Settings > Device connection, the "USB" entry is greyed out and states "Disconnected", even when the DAC is plugged in and playing music...?
Are there any (tablet) default settings I would need to change to solve the issue? Are there any known issues in using USB DACs with this MediaPad?
Thank you for any help with my issue.
My specific device is BAH2-W19, Build no. BAH2-W19 8.0.0.371(OCEC431).
