Installed Lollipop now can't see root directory - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I know the sticky says not to ask about rooting in this thread but since I have installed my new rom (lollipop) my google play store doesn't work or the browser. I have down loaded the GAPPs file and placed it into my root directory. When I go into recovery mode and TRWN starts I go into install I can't see the files as it is greyed out.

Unable to install apk

I'm running on stock rooted 2.3.4
I've been looking around for a couple hours and everything I've found hasn't helped me install an apk I downloaded. I downloaded synergy release 0.0003 from here sourceforge%net/projects/synergyandroid/files/
(replace the % with a ., it won't let me post an outside link in my first post on xda)
When I try to install with the package installer on the phone, it says application not installed. I rebooted then went to adb to try to install, and it says "Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES]"
I do have my phone set to allow non market apps, and can install other apks from the sd card with the package installer or with adb just fine. If more details are needed, such as a log file, I need to know where that file is.

[Q] Noob question

HI, I am using rom 101.c.0.370 with rooted, I got 2 question,
1) I installed Rom Manager, but not able to reboot with recovery mode, does my firmware version be able to support or not?
2) I tried to installed S-note V-12 Link, as I am not able to installed the rom so I try copy all the file in folder system with permission, in lib I have overwrite the file, but I can't see any icon/shortcut for snote or other app from s-app, by app "/system/app mover", I can see those apps is in system but how am I able to launch the apps?
as far as i know there's only one way to get root and recovery on the 370 firmware at the moment there is a thread in the android development forum i cant remember the name of it but ill update this post when i find it.
Edit: This is the forum post [ROM][CWM][Recovery][Pre-Rooted]Tablet Z Stock 10.1.C.0.370 -Reboot FIX Included - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2330110

[Q] Trouble rooting

I am almost done rooting my HTC One. I am able to boot into recovery and get into TWRP but when i go to install it goes directly to SD (which I don't have). I have looked through all of the folders to find the .zip file that I need to install SU but it is not there. I have downloaded it directly to the phone as well as added it from "file transfer." File transfer that there are 3 zip files on the phones internal memory but nothing shows up in Team Win. Help?
Also when I reboot from Team Win, I get a message that tells me I am not rooted, and asks if I want to install SU.....I am afraid ill brick the phone if I swipe to install with no zip selected.
figured it out

Xposed/Note 3 on Jasmine Rom/Snapchat login fail workaround

As you all know if you have Jasmine Rom installed it comes preinstalled with xposed framework that can't be Uninstalled.
I have Note 3 SM-N900V but am unable to flash custom recovery due to my emmc not starting with 15. So Ihad to go about finding a different way of doing this. And this is the only way it has worked through many trial and errors and restarting phone from scratch. This is the only way that works that i have found. Anytime I have tried to I have bricked phone and it will not boot back up. tryed flashify , flashfire, flashing the uninstall zip and nothing would work For those of you having issues with this . Follow this workaround on how to get
Snapchat working again.
Go to es file explorer and navigate to
1. data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/ after opening xposedinstaller folder you will see a files folder take the whole files folder and move it to extsdcard or to pc.
2. Navigate to system/bin/app_process.xposed move app_process.xposed to same place you moved the file folder to.
3. Navigate to system/framework/ and move XposedBridge.jar to the same place as other files .
Restart phone and install snapchat and login.
Now you can move those files back to there original places. Then Restart phone again.

How to use flashify to flash the recent updates under downloaded_rom folder?

1. My Redmi 5 Plus/Redmi Note 5 India is rooted, using TWRP and Magisk
2. I would like to know if there is a way that recent updates under downloaded_ROM can be flashed using a third party application such as Flashify?
3. I have come to this decision because when I tried to reboot device for installing recently updates, my device enters the TWRP recovery only find nothing in there, which is annoying. Root cause for this mess is that Xiaomi's fastboot rom downloads page is download, which would usually be my go to method after all. Using Mi Flash Tool, and then a few command types re-root the recently updated mobile phone.
Please guide me!
If I understood well if twrp it´s not recognicing (not really, only it can´t access) your data partition you need to format data at first time after to unlock and install a custom recovery in order that twrp can access to your storage directory.
Flashify just is capable to install boot and recovery images. Maybe you meant FlashFire, then to install it tap on + button and a menu will display with some options like Flash ZIP or OTA.

you're right, brother. I meant FlashFire, when I typed Flashfire. My bad.
I have the OTA downloaded from the official website, since the file I had in the downloaded ROM folder always returned an error as corrupt file when tried to open using Winrar. So I had to go the official site and get the same downloaded to see the contents inside.
But now, having copied the file to the downloaded ROM folder on my phone, I do not see any option as how I can choose the file to get installed. I mean there is no file explorer option given to me, rather Google Drive option. Perhaps I have to have the file uploaded once again on to my Google Drive on my device?

Download again the file from the same site, maybe downloaded to your Google Drive is corrupted and check that the extension didn´t change from .zip to .rar or FlashFire won´t recognice it. Winrar have to be capable to open it otherway the file is corrupted.
When you are sure that is the correct file If you had a stock recovery then you can install it through update option in settings/about device/updates from miui menu
