HTC s9u wont boot after factory reset - HTC One S9 Questions & Answers

Hey,
I have a HTC One s9u here that wont boot anymore after I factory reset the phone through the recovery menu.
The phone was running slow and would freeze now and then which is why I decided to preform the factory reset.
Now it just gets stuck on the white HTC screen. I have tried running factory reset again several times as well clearing the cache partition.
I have also tried every button combination there is with no success. I left the phone on this screen over night and it must have ran out of battery at some point as it was off in the morning.
After plugging it in and turning it on it once again was stuck on the same screen. I tried this as I read somewhere that removing the battery or letting it drain completely may fix this issue.
I thought about flashing a stock ROM but am not sure if I have the correct ROM. The s9 is not listed with the other stock ROMS on the official HTC site. I did find a thread on here where someone provided a ROM for the s9u which I have downloaded. However in download mode on my phone Radio is shown as UNKNOWN so I can't match the ROM exactly. Which is an issue because I'm located in Australia and I don't want to flash a ROM that wont work with the Australian mobile network. This phone was bought overseas as I don't think it was ever available in the Australian market.
This phone has not been rooted and has the stock recovery which is why I don't understand why a factory reset would cause it to get stuck during boot.
I will attach photos of the bootloader, download and recovery screens in case any of the info on these screens is useful.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I would be very grateful.

[Q] Firmware upgrade encountered an issue

Hi I am new here so I will get right to it and I hope i don't break any rules :cyclops:
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII GT-i9100 running jellybean 4.1.2
While i was on the internet on my phone suddenly it just booted and a screen saying "Updating apps 1of1" can't remember exactly I left it for like 30 minutes but nothing happened still updating so I took the battery out and turned it on and it then it started boot looping so I tried to factory reset it but still the same problem boot looping.
Then I asked a friend of mine for some help so he told me to download these files

this was my first time I have ever used ODIN I tried it but it failed after that i removed the batteries and put them back again and booted the phone and I am stuck with " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select a recovery mode in Kies & try again"
So I followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261153 but my phone would not appear on the list of devices
after that I tried this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449771 i followed every step and but all my tries were FAILs and I am still stuck with the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select a recovery mode in Kies & try again" screen
So how do I solve this problem?
You need to get an Odin flash to work, you won't be fixing it yourself any other way. Advanced search Hopper8's threads to find his 'Odin won't work' thread. Unless you want to take it to a service centre where they'll flash the latest firmware they have to the phone (and you'll be without your phone for a while).

The pics are too small to see, but the last post I read about this type of problem was internal memory failing.

I am thinking of trying this. Is that a good idea?
Good Idea, I would try and odin back to life as a last resort too.
Looks like the download links are all dead?
Might be able to find some files here. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=developers&did=77

Lenova tab 2 stuck in boot loop

Good after noon every one,
Please forgive me if Iam posting in wrong section. I bought lenova tab 2 10 70F -couple of days ago with Android kitkat. Iam a newbie in flasing ROMs and rooting.
Despite my friends advice to use ODIN to root, I used kingo app to root it and it was fine rooting by checked with check root app.
Then wanted to install TWRP recovery when flashing it with flashr app when rebooting the problem started like keeps on rebooting till the Lenovo logo name and the switching it off again and again like a cycle.
I can go to the recovery mode by pressing volume up and poer button though. I did wipe cache and factory reset but nothing works.
Still on loop. Since it is keep on rebooting not sure how to connect it to the computer and install the driver and worried because of constant reboot whether I can flash a new STOCK ROM( Ive downloaded it and kept in the computer).
I was thinking to flash this downloaded ROM into SD card and Ufla**** , but not sure whether things will get worse.
Attached is the pic of how my recovery page looks. Though in recovery mode it keeps on constantly and not rebooting.
Please advise.

2.Apply update from ADB
3.Wipe date/factory reset
4.Wipe cache partion
5.Apply update from SDCARD.

Galaxy A5 2016 won´t boot, Odin shows instant fail message

Hey there,
my Galaxy A5 2016 (SM-A510F) is stuck in a bootloop, the Samsung logo always pops up, the Screen goes black, then the Samsung logo pops up again after a while and this keeps repeating itself.
I have still Access to the TWRP and can also boot my phone into download mode.
Well, a factory reset didnt help at all, I also tried flashing the updateSuperSu 2.78 root file but this wont break the Loop.
This is the reason why I decided to Flash the stock Rom via Odin, Odin recognises my phone, but as soon as I press start, Odin Shows the big red FAIL message in the upper left Corner. I will attack you a screenshot to Show whats going on. I also already tried it on different usb-ports, and tried serveral stock roms but everytime with the same result(even serveral 6.0 and 5.1 stocks!)
Now I really dont know what I can still do to make my phone boot again and am thankful for every helpful tip anyone can give. I dont want to buy a new phone since that one is still pretty new

I don't understand how Smart Switch could help your phone since it wouldn't boot.

Honor 7C no recovery present

Hello!
I got my mom's phone because it got stuck on the boot screen (honor Powered by android). She was out in the cold for a while, and when she tried to use her smartphone, it had shut down. As she tried to restart it, it got stuck on the boot screen. So she gave it to me hoping to at least get some important data back. I fixed some bricked phones in the past, but this one seems impossible to fix.
I got fastboot working, but the recovery doesn't seem to start no matter how I press PWR and Vol+. Also fastboot reboot recovery gets me no further than a reboot to the boot screen. Since the FRP is locked, I can't flash a recovery image.
The fastboot screen suggest to open HiSuite. But on my Mac it does require HDB to be active. However the windows version aknowledges that a device can do something via fastboot.
But my win10 machine is unable to properly recognize the usb device. Installing USB drivers seems not to help, even manual install in the device manager fails with driver signature disabled. Also a registry fix from this website seems not to help. In the end, I can't get fastboot to work in the commandline nor HiSuite.
At this point I'm out of Ideas. As it stands now, the only way to recover the data is by unsoldering the eMMC .
There are ways to unlock the bootloader, but as far as I know, it requires wiping the storage.
I'm not sure what happened to the phone outside, but it's really strange that there is no recovery available.
Does anyone have ideas on how to proceed?
