I just replaced my screen due to a broken glass but after the replacement I can see that the glass is not very good attached on either side.
Hoppfully I can RMA, since it aint cheap changing the screen!
Anyone seen this before?

If you replaced it yourself then I think the screen you received didn't had the glass good glued to the display so its then a bit loose
EDIT: Please ignore this thread. I had a fault with my touch-screen which got repaired at the Sony service centre. The tempered glass protectors mentioned work fine

The above video was taken with a cheap 0.3mm thick tempered glass screen protector from eBay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261962820490 ).
Therefore, I also tried a 0.24mm thick tempered glass protector from Orzly ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00OFVM88M ). This was a bit better, but is still giving similar problems.
I think we need to find a way to be able to tweak the sensitivity of the digitizer to be able to compensate for the addition of a tempered glass screen protector, because I don't think they work nearly as well as people here make out. Does anyone know where to look in the Android settings/system to be able to adjust the digitizer sensitivity appropriately?

I use a tempered glass screen protector that also has 0.3 mm thick but it's working perfectly. Everything from touchscreen responses and the protector itself

I have used Mocole Glass in Sony Z3 have't poor touch screen problem. Is very smooth on touching.
try an app called "sgs touchscreen booster" from the store.......
I had similar problems with two different cheap glass protectors. I ended up peeling them off. Maybe some <0.25mm would work nicely, but too lazy for hunt.
I'm having a 0.26 mm tempered glass on my phone and I do not notice any loss in screen sensitivity.

Thanks, got it back fixed and the Orzly one works fine. The cheap one from ebay would probably work fine too.

Well... as far as i read replacing just the glass is a bit of a hit or miss with the chance that you have to just take the glass off without killing the panel. On my smashed N7 i just replaced the screen panel and glass as one piece but i dont know how it would work with the z4 and its waterproofness.

I had a tempered glass that had only adhesive around the edges, it was temperamental but worked half of the time. I took it off as it looks horrid
I could get it to work occasionally but not all the time with tempered glass so took the protector off, I wouldn't wast my money on another protector at the moment

Is yours full glue or just glue round the edges?
And does the black bars overlap the screen or are no pixels covered at all?

You are correct, there is no purchase option. Its the manufactureres website. Its because im from Denmark, and the online store i bought it from is Danish.
Its only glue around the edges, but its surprisingly good, only a slight hint of a halo.
I mounted mine a little bit wrong, but if you take your time, and try to be very precise, there will be no overlap. The overlap on mine is tiny.

Acting to mobilefun.co.uk the fingerprint scanner works and this is a full coverage tempered glass, so not case friendly. Is it if stock on mobile fun but the original manufacturer has it
